It was sweet, refreshing, tangy, and had just the right amount of matcha flavor. Every sip had me wondering why this wasn't a permanent menu item! I also loved the location. The staff was amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable. They were happy to answer questions and clearly knew their menu, which made the experience even better. Basically, I came for matcha and left wishing I had discovered this drink sooner. Now I'm just hoping they bring the Blueberry Lemonade Matcha back!

One particular issue we had was asking about them grinding our own personal beans. Our previous visit, we asked the employee working if we could bring in beans from our shop back home, and if they could grind it for us. The employee told us we could. We went today, and the cashier, visibly just annoyed with us all around, said they don't do that and was very short worded. So not only is most of the staff here pretty rude, they also just lied to us for no reason. On top of that, the coffee just tastes very artificial. Super disappointed as I had high hopes for this shop. I just feel uncomfortable being in that shop. Won't be coming again. :/.

They sell green coffee and sent some samples as part of the roaster sale. Roaster price was competitive. Their website is easy to use. Since I was new to coffee roasting, I figured I'd buy green coffee from Burman, until I found more sellers; but, I haven't changed sellers. I'm sure there are other good ones out there. But Burman has been very responsive, has a great online POS system, good info about the beans they sell, and the one time I had a questions, I received a prompt response. As I learn more about green beans, I'm pretty certain Burman is providing the best quality -- and, they have an awesome variety. After a while, you want to pick a few goto's, but its hard with Burman -- Its like a candy store. I've been happy with their BCT Espresso green blend as a good all around coffee. Then I like the Bob-o-link from Brazil. Also Ethiopian Asikana Birbir Sololiya Org. Natural Gr 1, and Papua New Guinea Carpenter Estates Sigri Kula PB. Highly recommend purchasing with them. They offer various shipping options, so you have some control of the shipping price. They keep you up to date on the shipment. Great products, great service. Wish I lived in WI.

They have patio, indoor, and upstairs seating with a mix of table types and styles. Their little bar seating on the main floor was so cute! We opted for upstairs - nice and quiet, and cozy. I ordered a matcha, and we both got breakfast sandwiches. I appreciate that they have gluten free bread! We ordered at the front, and delivery to our table took a while: 20+ minutes I'd guess? It felt a bit long for a casual cafe. My sandwich and side of potatoes were good - potatoes were a little cold, but still tasted good. The matcha was delicious! We got a fruity pebbles latte as well, and it was so bizarre - kinda good, but kinda weird?! Super interesting to try - I feel like it would work better as a matcha latte!

Total Wine & More really does a good job providing a wide array of products for a great price. I've been here several times and never leave disappointed (except for one thing that I'll mention later). Their employees know their products and can make smart recommendations based on what you're looking for. Samples? Yes please! At one visit, an employee pointed out a good whiskey that he thought I'd like. Lo and behold, it was one of the samples, so I was able to "try before I buy". I like that. On another visit, I was lured into a back room for a tequila tasting. Not liking, I tried to decline, but was convinced to give them a try - and I was not disappointed. Also, I like how at the front of the store they have racks of "airplane bottles" - small "samplers" that you can buy to try out various products. Again - I like this idea. It was a way for me to try peanut butter whiskey without sinking too much into a larger bottle... So yeah - they're the big guy on the block, but I like the service they provide, and the deals that I get. I would LOVE it if they were able to track down a bottle of Thomas Tew rum. This is a personal goal of mine (I have my reasons), but I understand they are a small brand only found on the east coast. Someday...
