Visited North Street (Cafe Domestique) location for the first time Saturday morning. The venue is located just 5 minutes from Garver Mill and pretty close to the airport. There's plenty of street parking around the area and a nice breakfast diner right across the street. Upon entrance, there's a bakery attached that's dishing out some nice pastries. There was plenty of seating and the vibes were immaculate. Huge fan of the jazz / ambient music they were playing in the background and the seating was both plentiful and very comfortable. Would recommend their coffee & venue for those who are looking for a new spot!

This is a nice, cozy coffee shop in Madison. They serve high-quality coffee and offer a fairly wide selection of pastries. The staff are friendly, and the noise level and overall ambiance are comfortable. The mix of tables and chairs with couches and sofas makes it a great place to spend a couple of hours, whether you want to work or relax with friends. The only drawback is the Wi-Fi, which can be unreliable at times.

I visited North street with a friend who was familiar with the cafe domestique on Willie street but she much more preferred this one on North street due to the size! Very large and spacious indoor with plenty of seating outside too. The trees overhead provided just enough shade. It was not very busy and the employees were super friendly. I had never tried the bright vibrant purple Ube latte and it was delicious! Paired perfectly with my croissant that was stuffed with yumminess. Great location with plenty of street parking too. Perfect for folks in the neighborhood to walk to as well.

Love the bright, clean, modern, open, spacious and casual indoor and outdoor space here! What a perfect spot for hanging out with friends, or just working and reading alone, especially on a warm and sunny day! We've been a fan of Cafe Domestique and Bloom Bake Shop and love making a stop to grab coffee and pastry when we drive by Madison. So how great it is for these two local gems to be under one roof! Highly recommend the signature Ube latte from Cafe Domestique and donuts, cookies and danishes from Bloom. And like others have mentioned, it's all street parking and I can see how packed the streets could be on late weekend mornings and afternoons.

This is a must stop! And a must come multiple times :-) My three favorite Madison businesses all in one... Bloom Bake Shop, Café Domestique and Young Blood. North Street has a very vibrant, young, and hip vibe! We stopped in here this past weekend after a packed workout class to get our breakfast. Ended up with a Croissant from Bloom and Latte's from the Café! I can't wait to stop back to check out Young Blood! The parking is all street parking, and it's in a small neighborhood so parking may be a bit sparse. So be prepared to walk a block or so.

LOVE the vibe of this area- three awesome shops all in the same building. I stopped for a dessert at Bloom Bake Shop (grab a punch card!), and a coffee and Cafe Domestique- a great combo! I stopped by in the morning so Young Blood was not open yet. The outside walls of the building are neat and fun, and the inside is open and bright. Will definitely need to come back in the summer when the windows open up to grab a beer at Young Blood!

Can't decide between coffee, pastries, or beer? Perfect! Northstreet combines beer from Youngblood Brewing co., Bloom Bakery pastries and breads, and coffee from Cafe Domestique. This renovated warehouse has three beautiful corners, all with their own individuality but sharing an amazing vibe.

Box of deception! By Young blood brewing is a s'more in a glass but not too sweet

This is just what the neighborhood needed, I stop by in the morning and get some pastries from bloom bake house, a cortado from domestique and I grab a fresh loaf of delicious bread from bloom on my way out to take home and eat with my homemade soup.... and then come back in the evening to meet friends and get a delicious dark beer (box of deception) and hang out in young bloods cleverly palm lit lounge! This is all within walking g distance to my house and I could not be happier! Cannot wait until spring/summer to enjoy the sprawling wrap around patio and the fresh air afforded by the garage doors propped open! Bravo all around.

Great Dane Pub has become one of my favorite spots in Madison for a variety of reasons from the drinks, vibes, service and community support! Situated on the corner of Doty and King in downtown Madison, Great Dane is a welcome sight for any visitor or local looking for a chill spot to have a solid drink, tasty bite and/or a good time! The pub is one large space, but it is separated into a few unique areas. One side is quintessential pub with a long bar, lots of dark woods, and a good sized dining room. The other is more of a pool hall vibe where you will find the other side of the bar, several pool tables, lots of TV's, high tops, darts, etc...We have bellied up to both sides of the bar and while I like both sides, I prefer the vibe of the pub side. They have a fairly extensive food menu with several bar/pub classics such as wings, nachos and burgers. But they also offer a good variety of sandwiches, bowls, salads, soups and even tacos. While we are normally here for the drinks, we do enjoy the cheese curds, wings and poutine! Speaking of drinks, they always have a great menu of house cocktails that is constantly updated for seasonality. I have had several iterations of cocktails and since I visit a few times a year, I always get to try new seasonal cocktails and beers! Service is always stellar here, no matter what side of the bar you are on. Welcoming, friendly and helpful...every time! Overall, I am an absolute fan of The Great Dane Pub!

The bartender assured us that their vegan options were incredible. MadisonTap features many local Wisconsin beers on tap. They seem to often rotate the beers and keep a solid selection. MadisonTap was spacious with bar seats, tables, and booths available. The design and decor were well thought out. The crowd seems to be young professionals in their mid-20s to early 30s. I don't recall the beers I got here but I do remember prices being ~$7-10 range mark. The bartender and owner place special emphasis on being vegetarian and vegan friendly. Even one of the cocktails used vegan butter. There was a single bartender when I visited but it was a bit slow. We had a great conversation and watched Christmas movies on the projectors. Overall, solid experience. 5/5. Favorited in Madison, WI.

The menu is filled with elevated pub food, a few classics and then a few twists on those very classics. Come hinge, because the menu is carb-driven, so be ready to eat! To start, we went with the poutine, because why not! The fries were crispy, gravy was velvety and the curds were firm, yet melty enough for a good cheese pull! For our mains, we both went sandwiches. I went with the Celtic Burger, which is their standard burger with added caramel iced onion, whiskey bacon jam, Irish cheddar and a garlic aioli. The burger was good and cooked well, but it was less impressive than I expected given all the goods they added to it. While the aforementioned additions sound like a flavor bomb, it was still fairly one note in overall flavor. It was still tasty, but again, not as expected. My buddy went with the corned beef sandwich. He enjoyed it, no major issues! I did appreciate that exchanging fries with fried curds was an option, especially after loaded up on fries as a starter. The curds were well fried, pillowy and quite tasty. Perfect side for sure! In addition to the food, they are known for their bar offerings so you know we had to grab a few cocktails! I went with the Golden Dew and my buddy the Old Fashioned. Golden Dew was delightful, however the old fashioned was a bit sweet, but that's possibly the brandy. Service was great. We walked in and hit the wait list, however was able to scoop up a few seats at the bar before our table was ready. The bartenders were friendly, helpful and an overall joy to interact with. Overall, definitely a fan of The Coopers Tavern! When back in Madison, I would certainly swing by again!

The place had a cozy, lounge-like vibe and was pretty busy, but the staff was friendly and helpful. It's first come first served for seating, just like any bar. We sampled a few whiskeys and also tried their premade espresso martini. The whiskey selection was phenomenal, the espresso martini was decent, not the best I've had (it was premade), but still enjoyable (it's made with Tito's, which isn't my favorite base, but I appreciate the fresh coffee beans they used).
