This review is long overdue. Have been coming here for a few years and over the years it has changed names and switched owners a couple of times. The newest owner Diane is just great, she is so helpful, kind and always welcoming. There are a wide variety of classes for a barre studio. I absolutely love the flow barre and plyojam class but honestly all the classes are great! They have amazing teachers who are trained in proper technique and skilled at repositioning and explaining proper alignment which as an occupational therapist I appreciate immensely. The instructors are always welcoming and the vibe of the whole studio is great, no pressure or cliquiness here. Thanks Barreworks!!! read more

This is an awesome studio! I started coming here in April with no background in barre and I am so glad I did. All of the instructors are amazing! They challenge you while supporting you at your level and with whatever physical needs you have. I always have a great workout here! Everyone is so positive, friendly, and welcoming and the studio itself is very pleasant and clean. The variety of hours that classes are offered is really helpful with a busy schedule so whether you prefer early morning or evening there's a time for you. Barreworks Studio Redondo Beach is amazing! The studio is so cute with peach windows and shabby chic lighting. The instructors will kick your butt! Each of the various workouts that are offered are challenging, fun and go by so quickly! You will definietly work up a sweat and feel sore ...but in a good way! The instructors are knowledgeble and friendly and will correct your form and help you if needed. The desk people are always great and the owner of the studio is awesome! This is by far and away my favorite barre studio in Los Angeles (which is saying something, because there are plenty). I've walked out of every class feeling like I've toned, strengthen and addressed every single one of my problem areas. Most amazingly, there is a class for all my moods: Barre sculpt gets me head to toe with isometric movements that can be modified depending on how intensely I'd like to work, cardio sculpt is the perfect blend of dance, cardio, and toning (currently my favorite), and HITT kicks my a$$ so much so that I feel "summer body ready" even after the french fries and chocolate cake I just ate. Love the revamped studio! There are many more types of classes offered (Barre Sculpt, HIIT, Cardio Sculpt, Trampoline Sculpt) with awesome instructors. Each instructor has a distinct style so it never feels like you're doing the same class twice. I've mainly taken the Barre Sculpt classes and end up feeling the burn and shake for hours post-class ( this means it's working, right? ). I'm hooked! read more
