This studio is clean, equipment in good condition, friendly staff, owner is very kind and often runs specials- affordable rates in comparison to several studios in the area. Took the tuesday am class with Janet- she was so knowledgeable about alignment/form. I often am frustrated with instructors given a couple of injuries- under direction could worsen. Janet knew exactly how to modify and was very specific in her instruction. Not an easy class- time we'll spent. read more

I'd like to update my review to say I have been loving the new additions to barreworks (both the new classes and the new teachers) I am obsessed with barre boxing with Jen. It's a really fun way to start your Saturday morning. She does 30 minutes of fun choreographed boxing and then 30 minutes of barre. I just tried barre sculpt with Janet K and I love her energy and attitude- she's funny, high energy, and really positive vibes that push you through class. I also tried Petra's yo-barre class on Thursdays and loved that as well. She does 30 minutes of barre followed by 30 minutes of deep stretching. I don't stretch enough so I really like her take of the yoga/barre combo. Katie's Monday night barre class is also amazing because she REALLY focuses on core. She is an incredible trainer and is so good at cue-ing your breath connected with your abdominals. Kim's step class on Mondays is SO fun. I was laughing my butt off because I was so uncoordinated. It's not only an excellent physical workout, but it works your brain a lot too. I love that Barreworks has grown and developed into so much more than a barre studio where you can still get barre, but also a lot more. read more

I can't say enough good things about Barreworks Studio. I came to find a good workout and what I found was so much more - a workout family! The staff are not only knowledgeable, but also warm and friendly and they show how much they care for my safety and well being each and every time I've taken a class. The owner is lovely and has responded with grace and dignity to the coronavirus situation by making sure that classes are help on zoom and FB so that all members have workout options. I HAVE to update my review. BARREWORKS has been offering outdoor classes in the Rock N' Brew parking lot. I just took my first outdoor class Pound with Bria. It was SO MUCH FUN! It was a hot day but between the beautiful breeze and wearing a hat it was great! I barely leave the house as I have a family member that is high risk. So to be honest I was a bit anxious leading up to class. Diane and the rest of the BARREWORKS team did an exceptional job making sure everyone is comfortable and socially distanced. It was seriously so well planned and thought out! I can't wait to take another outdoor class again! This partnered with the zoom classes I'm in the greatest shape of my life. BARREWORKS has the best teachers the best classes and the best community. I'm so grateful they are here for us to have fun stay healthy and sane! read more

Woke up sore which means I got a good workout and sweated my arse off!! Great music playlist by Dustin btw! Everyone was super friendly and professional. Highly recommend this studio!! read more

This has been the only workout that I have been able to stick to for more than a couple months. I have been coming here for a couple years since they were Pop Physique and their switch over to Barreworks has made this place even more amazing. The addition of different classes has allowed me to not have to look for other workout studios because now they offer a variety of classes with the Barre, HIIT, and Trampoline classes. Everyone who works here is super nice and supportive. The instructors are really well trained and knowledgeable. Every class is always different and kicks my butt every time. Studio is always clean, they have all the props needed, ample parking available, and lots of great class deals for purchase. They also have fun monthly challenges to get you motivated to come to class and win prizes. Since they switched to Barreworks I realize that I come to class even more and I will continue coming because I feel great after every class and i feel stronger and more toned. read more

Barreworks Studio - Cardio Classes Near Me - Torrance, California

BarreWorks is fun, filled with positive energy, challenging, intimate, supportive, and affordable

While the studio itself is closed, the online (Facebook and Zoom) classes have been a great option for a good workout. The owner, Diane and her staff have done an amazing job to offer a variety of classes that are challenging and fun at the same time. The midday 10 minute mini classes are a nice midday break and there are also daily "tuck n talk" sessions to help keep you motivated. The entire staff is very welcoming. I strongly suggest checking out the virtual classes. read more

I was surprised when the studio changed to Barreworks......like WHAT? Then, I went to McCall's CardioSculpt class. It is exactly the kind of dance workout I have been craving. It really gets your heart going, appeals to the dancer inside us all, and kills your legs. So sore, so worth it. Love love love this studio since 2015, it keeps getting better. xx read more

One of the best studios in the South Bay! Everyone is so nice and you always get a great workout! One of my favorite all time classes is Trampoline Sculpt! You get cardio, barre, strength and balance all in one class. You will not regret taking a class at this studio! read more

All of the instructors at Barreworks are amazing, but tonight's teacher was exceptional. The music was on point, she pushed us to the max, but also encouraged us to modify when we reached our breaking point. She came around and made slight adjustments when peoples' forms were off (in a non-intrusive way). Clearly had a strong technical background. Would highly recommend her class! People may think you "won't get a good workout at barre," but they clearly haven't been to Barreworks. read more

I absolutely love my time at Barreworks. I take their trampoline class and it's one of the most fun and challenging classes of my entire week. I really enjoyed my first class, it was something I haven't done before and I absolutely loved it. Working out the whole body and you definitely feel the burn, even using light to no weights at all. It was a great way to start the day, and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try. I'm hooked now! read more

I attended my first barre class with a friend yesterday and we were immediately greeted by the instructor upon arrival. She walked us through what to expect during class and assisted us with picking out our props. The workout was power packed and killer for the entire hour...I thought that I was going to die at least three times. I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the stretches at the end lol. The other attendees were also friendly, which is helpful when entering a new situation. The studio is very clean and they have super cute merchandise for sale in the check in space. I will definitely be back for more tucking and squeezing to get this body of mine all the way together! read more
