We had a leak under our kitchen sink in one of those cheap plastic push/pull valves so we called Austin to change all 13 of these valves out and replace with brass valves. He was very thorough and had all of them done in about two hours. He also provided recommendations for other things we may want to do in the future along with making recommendations to other vendors for other things outside of what he offers. I've used Barrett Plumbing & Drain multiple times for different things such as replacing a water heater, replacing a water valve in my master shower, leaking bathtub, wobbly toilet, clogged toilet, to fixing a gas pipe. Every time I've used them, Austin has been nothing but professional, courteous and polite. He's never left the work area dirty after he was finished and always cleaned up after himself. June 24, 2025 This company is Not dependable! We Pre scheduled an appointment over a month out and received a text 1 hour prior to arriving they need to rearrange the time. I stated no - then again another text offering 50% off to reschedule- again I said no- too many excuses and lies . I do except a full refund check in the mail by the end of the week ( for our pre paid warranty ) I apologized to the kids ( who I recommended this company to ) for their lack of service by this company and their many excuses . How embarrassing! We praised you for your honesty and reliability from the past but not anymore . You are not dependable! We did not want " Free" service but we needed your service . I think we were completely accommodating rescheduling a few times to accommodate your family vacation- So we were shocked today when you were an hour out from arriving you came up with many excuses . This is Extremely unprofessional. Description of Work: Maintenance of osmosis system and tankless water heater system 7/25/25 - buyer beware- if you give Austin or Barrett Plumbing and Drain a 1 star review you will receive a nasty text message which was turned over to the local police because of the verbiage. read more

Austin Barret lacks integrity and any type of work ethic. He did a sloppy, mediocre job replacing my tub spout and left a huge mess in the tub. On top of that he changed the water pressure and tried to sell me a water pressure meter for $800. After he left the water pressure was not right and the shower head had problems. He basically fixed one problem then created two more. He assured me he would fix them for over a week then just disappeared. Did not reply to text or calls. If you are looking for an unreliable untrustworthy plumber who is only interested in overcharging you go ahead and hire Barret Plumbing. read more

On Friday evening at 7pm, one of our outside spickets cracked when trying to unscrew the hose requiring us to shut off the water to the house. Amazing company! When the water company left us a note saying they suspected a leak near our meter due to heavily saturated ground and water bubbling up, I immediately looked up a plumber. Barrett's was super close and had great reviews so I called them up. I had to leave a voicemail but it said I could also text the number for quicker service. So I text over some pics of the area. I immediately got a response saying they could help and would send someone out the next day. Our original appt time was 11am, but Lupe, the plumber, figured it was an emergency because of where the leak was so he showed up a little before 8am, which was awesome! He went to assess the situation and ended up finding out it wasn't actually our pipe leaking, but our neighbor's. I quickly called up our neighbor who was on vacation to get him to authorize turning off their main water so it wouldn't leak anymore and got a quick estimate from Lupe. Even though we haven't officially used them for repairs, I am so pleased with their prompt and reliable service and extremely friendly employees that I will absolutely be calling them should I ever need them again. My neighbor will also be giving them a call back to come fix his pipe. read more

I live in Peoria Az. I had my first service with them in August 2021 when I had them hydro-jet a drain line in my house. Everything worked well and was pleased with the service. Fast-forward to late July of 2022. Same drain line backed up and was slow in draining. Even though they were short-staffed, they worked with me and came out after 5 pm on 7/21/2022 to run a camera down the line. found the problem and fixed it. Advised me of what was happening and gave me some advice to keep it going. There was no charge for this call, because it was under warranty for the service done in August. From the beginning, he thoroughly explains all options available and then follows through with high quality work and product. He is friendly, personable, honest and efficient. We had a water softener and RO system installed and everything went perfect. He encountered a plumbing mixup by the home builder and was able to fix the issue and did it without extra charge. These guys are top notch and amazing! After out kitchen sink started to back up and our own drain clearing did not work, we called someone out. Found the problem (sort of) and what needed to be done but it was a little obnoxiously priced so we sent out this project. Barrett Plumbing responded quickly and was straightforward with what could be done, how it worked, and were reassuring! I felt completely comfortable talking to them and asking questions. They were not pushy either on trying to get something done, or something we did not need. We were able to get squeezed in and what we thought (them too I'm sure) was going to be a simple-ish hydrojetting became a puzzle. It took longer than expected and seemed to stump everyone. Chris was the one on site who helped us and did great despite the challenge. As frustrating as I'm sure it was, he stayed professional and answered questions and did not give up. Life savers! He managed to push through the giant gunky build up of who knows what and things are running magnificently! Barrett Plumbing replaced a leaking kitchen drain pipe in May 2020. Barrett was paid-in-full for his services and agreed to return in 1 week for a water filter replacement. Barrett was a NO CALL and NO SHOW for this appointment. On July 9th 2020, the REPLACED pipe began to leak again. Barrett was contacted to service the leak per the company's "2 Year Guarantee". In response, Barrett was dismissive, verbally abusive (used obscenities), and refused service. No GUARANTEE...No REFUND. Thumbtack was contacted for a resolution. read more
