Having lunch here with my son Matt, after visiting Barto, PA where St Padre Pio USA shrine and museum is located. We ordered crab Mac n cheese, their famous barn nachos and smoked pig sandwich with potato salad on the side. The barn nachos are full of mixed ingredients, smoke pig, manchego cheese, pickled jalapeños cheese sauce, sour cream and toasted tortillas. It's delicious. The toasted brioche with smoked pig's meat blended well with potato salad on the side. Taste great. The crab Mac n cheese is creamy and delicious. Nice place and good decor setting inside a real barn set-up where the bar is centrally located. Outside backyard patio tables with oversized umbrellas, overlooking a creek, nice view. Serving staff is courteous and helpful. Cost at $$ of their serving entrees are at an average size. Clean separate Men and Women's bathroom.

This place was super super cute. Great service. Food was just bland. Very small menu. Has a ton of potential. Really beautiful place.

I felt so welcomed and they made sure I had a great experience. If you are ever in Emmaus near the triangle you should definitely stop in and have a sandwich! Not to mention they partner with the bakery next door for their bread.

But few people think about the importance of the bread. It is the vessel that holds all the deliciousness together. A new sandwich shop, The Hive, just up from Triangle Park in Emmaus is focusing on hoagie-style sandwiches made with fresh French bread from next-door neighbor, Egypt Star Bakery. Which has mouthwatering bread that makes the sandwich complete, and all your mouth buds open up, and dancing around. The Hive has had a soft opening with a small menu of "whole" and "half" sandwiches. A whole is about two feet long. Options include Italian (honey ham, Genoa salami, capicola with provolone cheese); ham and cheese; turkey and cheese; and tuna. You can also get those options as pita wrap sandwiches. The Hive also has a few sides such as cole slaw, hummus with pita, chips and cheddar mac salad. Since they just opened, give them no time, they will have more selections. This is a must try and support your local new business. We need to keep them around.

Missy the owner was wonderful to chat with and I appreciate that she didn't laugh at me too hard when I told her I want to put on plays in her place. The food is great too!! So Baked is a small bakery located on Main St in Emmaus, they focus on dessert side of baking, mostly cookies, bars, scones and things like that. Everything is made in the shop. They also have gluten free items as well. You can even get a salad or Iced Coffee if you want to. The baked goods were good, nice and fresh. The lime coconut bar was great, the orange cranberry scone was very good, but I was let down by the peanut butter cookie sandwich, the filling was lacking flavor. The Iced coffee was also good, I like that the ice cubes were made with coffee. The service was good, she was friendly and answered our questions and gave us recommendations. The inside looks basic but gets the job done. This place is also cheaper than I expected with the boom in gourmet cookie places charging $5 a cookie, this place is a steal at less than half that for some stuff. Overall a very good local bakery to stop in when ever your looking for a sweet treat.
