The place does not have much parking but not a problem. Inside will find a nice doggie grocery store with some interesting treats and a large selection of in-house food prep to take home kept in a refrigerator. Probably may want to bring a small ice chest if taking any home. You can see the dog kitchen and the staff is super friendly. It did not take long until ready to pick her up and once again the staff was super cool where my baby looked and smelled great. She felt very comfortable with the groomer. They did a great job! Ziggy loves everything Barkin' Creek! I usually cut my dog's hair but decided he needed a spa day. They did such a wonderful job. His breath was fresh for over a week. They sent me the cutest photos of him because I was as nervous as a mother on a child's first day of school. This review is for the party room. I booked this room last minute for my dog's 1st birthday since the temp outside was over 100F. Originally planned for the dog park. They have 3 party packages to choose from and the basic package met my needs so I went with it. I didn't expect much honestly, I imagined an empty warehouse like room with AC and that was all I cared about. When we showed up, we were greeted and showed upstairs to the party room, I was shocked! It was a such a cute space fully decorated with balloons in out theme colors, a nice table for bring your own food/drinks, has a nice raised bed retreat with a cushion, water station, leash hangers. The package came with a 4 inch birthday cake, pupcakes and goodie bags for all of the four-legged guests. Shout out to the 2 attendants we had for their awesome service looking after all the dogs and making sure we had everything we needed. The attendants helped with the pee/poo clean up and they were so top of it! Can't say enough how amazing they were! We had 18 dogs!! They have plenty of parking behind the stocoveted! I rushed to get there and even on my way there, I get a call from them confirming their vaccination certifications 5 min before I get there, for them to tell me they couldn't take my dogs. I honestly LOVED this place the first time I went. The first groomer my puppy Gryffin had was amazing. She took her time to ensure his fur was all trimmed away and even. Sadly, she no longer works here. The second time I brought Gryffin here, his new groomer kept his face fur really long while his body super short. I asked for a teddy bear cut and she did not give him it. I wasn't satisfied with the service, so they told me I could bring him back the next day. I showed the groomer how the first cut was. She brought gryffin back and his face fur was cut extremely short. As Gryffin's fur began to grow back a little, he gained 2 permanent cowlick in between his ears. I honestly have no idea how that happens. The more his fur began to grow. The more you can tell that the cut was not even around the face. Highly disappointed. I paid almost $100 just for a shitty cut. There is still one more groomer Gryffin hasn't gone to yet at this location. If they also disappoint, I will be taking Gryffin to a new groomer. UPDATE: Tried contacting owner and owner got defensive and claimed my partner was another person who left a bad google review for him as well. And then threatened to post our communications online. So decided I would post it here for him. OP: I had been coming here for two years and have been paying a lot for his haircuts. However the customer service I experienced today was absolutely atrocious. I made this reservation weeks ago and I have an Australian Shepherd who needs a haircut bad. I was late today. For my appointment but I walked in around 18 minutes after and they told me they would no longer have time to do a full haircut because it was after 15 minutes. They wouldn't budge and insisted that they wouldn't be able to fit him in still. Despite it taking weeks to get in and literally hours to do a haircut. They kept trying to say "we have a salon style schedule" but I still don't see how this could throw everything off by that much. No longer coming here rude customer service. Wasted my time today and now I'm having to find a new groomer. I've never even posted a review on here before and they were so bad I felt the need to get on here. The fact that I have been coming here for two years and they weren't willing to work with me to make sure my dog gets a full service haircut that he needs just goes to show that they do not care about your pet they only care about money. I have finally tried the daycare here after taking Emmie and Joe for a groom last year. I really like that you can pop on to the website and watch the live cam of the daycare even if you're not a client. I was able to watch the trainers (who appear to be actual trainers or at least trained/educated) and see the behaviors of the other pups. Watching the live cam now while Emmie is at her first evaluation day - the trainer is constantly engaged, reinforces basic commands, distracts bad behaviors, and gives pups breathers as needed. They also get regular potty breaks. Emmie is just staring out the window until I come back, but it's nice that each dog can do their own thing. Very happy pup mom! read more

The pricing is expensive here. I used to bring my dog in for a nail file every few months, it was $22 (already a little high). The staff are kind and they're is usually no wait so it was worth it. Now they have eliminated the nail file and you have to get a "pawdicure" which is a nail file and paw trim for $32. Horrible! Where do I start... The first time we brought our golden doodle they charged us $150 for nothing. They didn't give him a sanitary trim, they only gave him a bath. They said they gave him a trim but I had to take him back two weeks later for a cut because his hair was longer than he needed to have it for the summer. The groomer we took him to the second time told us that his nails and hair should not be like that after coming in two weeks prior. I went back a second time because I wanted to give them another try so I asked for a different groomer. Kelsey groomed him the second time. First she quoted me 150 then when we paid she tried to charge us 200 and then lowered it to 150 after we reminded her of her quote. The other guy in the reception area was extremely rude the entire time we were there! They told us to pick him up at 6:30 and then kept extending the time. My dog is really chill and he couldn't get out of that place fast enough! The worst part about the second experience was that Kelsey didn't tell us that SHE CUT OUR DOGS EAR when we picked him up. We get home and I notice he is scratching his ear and I check it and it's all cut up!!! My fiancé called and spoke to the manager and she couldn't care less, she said she would refund us half of the cost for the grooming but we should have complained earlier (the first visit). We took our lab, Houston, here yesterday. The staff were extremely polite and knowledgeable and took great care of Houston. We were running a little late because of traffic and they said not to worry at all and to drive safely. The facility was very clean and Houston loved their fried chicken treat. Super easy picking him up - they just send a text when he's ready (which was exactly when they said he'd be ready). They shaved my dog in full when I only had booked for a partial groom. Then after trying to give them a second chance I had to cancel the day before due to an emergency for the FIRST time and they wanted to charge me. They lacked any empathy towards my situation and staff was very rude. Interesting how when they made a mistake I was suppose to forgive them and not make a big deal of it but when I had a one time emergency they treated me like they didn't care or need my business. After we tried to speak with the manager she accused me of saying things I never said and accused me of canceling multiple times which is false and they have no record of that nor did they even listen to what I had to say. Daycare Review: my dog gets super duper excited and bounces around like she's on s pogo stick when I pull up here!! She loves the staff here and I love the camera. The humans are in charge and interacting with the dogs all day. They have a schedule and it includes walks outside so all business (poop) is outside. They play with toys and also have cuddling time. Mostly small and all non aggressive dogs. And she comes home exhausted :) They take reservations online and respond VERY quickly!! Grooming review: also 5 stars. I'll jump on all the five-star reviews bandwagon! I've been bringing my fur babies here for grooming for a while now and have always been happy with the results. The staff is professional, the groomers are experienced (Dee did an excellent job with their last haircuts) and the cost is fair for the service you receive. I'm so glad this place opened up near my home. The location is convenient but be aware that the parking lot can be a bit tight. My only feedback would be 1) consider an option to block the daycare doggies from barking at every client that is brought upstairs for grooming. My boys were immediately startled and then react with barking. During my last visit we brought them up to the back staircase which helped but it still wasn't the smoothest introduction to the groomer. As most dogs are, they're usually a little uneasy when knowing that mommy is dropping them off so I would prefer to limit the amount of stimulation and stress they get when going to the groomers. 2) Please install a patch of grass or something for doggies to relieve themselves. After they were at the groomers for several hours they had to go and unfortunately the only option was on the concrete out front with no option for me to easily clean up. Regardless of these small challenges, I will continue to support this local business. I have been bringing my dog, Tucker, for grooming and I have been very pleased with results. I had to switch groomers after the last place cut my dog up.. so naturally I was nervous bringing him in. Looking back, I should not have been nervous! When I got there I was sent upstairs to the groomers area. The groomer spent a good amount of time talking to me about Tucker's temperament and health. I was even asked if he can have treats and of course I said yes! Even though Tucker was really mated when he first came in, his hair cut looked great and he was happy when I picked him up. My puppy loves their beef and potato meal. I use it as a topper and he eats his entire meal every time. I can tell that it's real food and no preservatives because it shows in the way my pup acts and looks. He's healthy and active and I think it has to do with the food he eats. He also loves their chicken bark and goes insane whenever I put even a fingers on the bag.
