I have been taking my 2 large doodles here for several years now and Ana and her staff do an amazing job not only grooming them but taking good care of them while they are there. In love with this place! Took my mini Aussie for a long over due grooming appointment. This place opened up not that long ago so we wanted to give it a go. The owner is extremely sweet and helpful and so is the staff! Luna (my dog) suffers from separation anxiety and I was a bit worried how she'd be when I got back! She seemed so happy and was giving hugs and kisses to all the staff, which showed she was loved and taken care of and for that she was grateful (and obv. so was I). LOVED this place. 100% worth the drive. My 1 yr old pup is still shy about being left with others but Gabi treated her so kindly and the owner was there and provided a mask when I left mine in the car. Cookie is a German Shepherd who just started blowing her coat the day after I made this appointment (again, so sorry) and Gabi got 4 dogs worth of fur off her after I had already brushed her 3 times lol. She smelled great, love the vanilla scent, and she was so happy when I picked her up. The employees at Sydnee's Pet Grooming were exceptional. Talked personally with owner and she was lovely. They were wonderful, kind and professional. They really helped me feel more comfortable leaving my babies with them. They listened and were totally focused on their care and comfort. I haven't even talked about the grooming! I'm pretty sure this is the best groom they've ever had! I asked for them to be shaved down and while that's not always cute, it was spectacularly done. Their ears were plucked and cleaned and look incredible. The place was clean and welcoming. They are safely social distancing and reasonable priced! We will absolutely be back for regular grooming and can't think of a better place to do so! read more

Absolutely awful customer service. I wake up bright and early to herd two cats to the groomer. This is a feat in any household, but especially in mine. I get to the counter to check-in and they need the rabies information for both animals. I don't have this on me and no one told me to bring this. I am extremely type-A and write everything down. I am absolutely positive this was not mentioned on the phone. They turn me away because I do not know the name of the shelter that gave them my vaccine and they tell me I have to go home to get it. I don't live in Lakeway and drove across town for this appointment. My blood is boiling... this place is unorganized and reeks of cigarettes in the lobby. Try somewhere else. read more

Sydnees is new to Lakeway, so I thought I'd stop by to learn more about them and their services. Their website and door sign say they open at 9:00am on Wednesday. It's 9:30am, and their lights are off and their door is locked. Either they are poorly run and unprofessional, or they've already gone out of business. We took our 1 year old shih tzu rescue to Sydnees after being told elsewhere that our puppy was too difficult to groom. We were very anxious about trying to get our dog groomed again after having that bad experience elsewhere. Thank goodness we found Sydnees Pet Grooming on Yelp! After communicating via yelp with the business, I was quickly assured that Pepper would be taken care of here and that this would be an environment where she would feel safe and happy. I called to book an appointment and I was able to bring her in the same day! When we dropped her off we knew she would be taken care of here. The groomers were so kind to us and really helped assure us that they would take care of her and clean her up as we needed! I recognize that our puppy needs a little extra love and care since she was abandoned in the shelter and has lots of anxiety, and the employee (who I unfortunately did not remember the name of) was so kind and accommodating to us and our puppy. Apon picking her up only a short few hours later, I was SO impressed and a very satisfied dog parent. They were able to fully groom her & she looks + smells amazing. Additionally, all employees were wearing masks and were following safety recommendations during COVID-19. My girlfriend and I are so thankful we found Sydnees and we already booked another appointment for six weeks from now. I highly highly recommend Sydnees pet grooming! read more

Sydnees staff was so welcoming and helpful! I took my hesitant miniature schnauzer puppy for his first grooming. Both parties were nervous, puppy & myself :-) , however we were instantly put at ease. The place was clean and easy to find. Staff was friendly, all were wearing masks and taking COVID-19 precautions. My pup was anxious, so in order not to make his first groom a bad experience, they only bathed, trimmed nails and the pesky hair near his eyes. Gabbi was wonderful and assured me regular grooming would lessen his nerves. Great staff and competitively priced ... we will be a repeat customer! read more
