What a well run spot. The line is controlled at the door to not have it be so busy inside. Once you get in you form a line at the counter and start with your sides then directed forward to order your meats. The end of the counter leads to a water station and utensils. Tables are a free for all but plenty available especially with the crowd control. Workers constantly around to offer you more water, sauce, napkins and to go containers. Then they immediately clean up after you when done. High chairs available even for high tops. Bustling bar with a charismatic bartender. Prices are not cheap but the bbq is good and worth it. Can't wait to return! Street parking is so easy in this area love it.

The beef rib was tender but the salt didn't penetrate into the meat; needed sauce to add flavor. Fatty brisket was definitely tender but was similar in needing additional support. Spare ribs had good sweetness but were a little tough at times.

By far one of the BEST BBQ experiences I've ever had! Me and my girls stopped into Bark BBQ at their brand-new location on Thames St in Brooklyn after a pool day, and WOW! The Dominican flavors mixed with that smoky BBQ goodness were EVERYTHING. The cafeteria-style setup makes it easy to try a little of everything, and the line moved FAST! The space is big and spacious, perfect for families or large groups. The staff was also amazing and so attentive--they even made sure we had a table ready for us despite the line being out the door. The food was so good I barely got any content because I was too busy stuffing my face! Definitely a must-try!

Chopped chicharron and brisket sandwiches with a side of maduros, mac and cheese, pickled veggies and rice and beans.

I think this was even better than at Time-out market. All the small sides are $5, large sides $12. All the meat is by the half pound. If you want drinks you need to order at the bar. All the staff were super friendly and helpful as the line was INSANE. Don't sleep on their Mac and cheese. Music was loud but the playlist was mostly disco and definitely bop worthy while eating. Looking forward to coming back!

This was one of the best southern bbq spots I have been to in NYC! I have been to Pig Beach and John Brown BBQ in queens where both were good but at times the meats were a little dry. I now realize it's probably because Bark has stolen all the juices! You watch them throw the meats on the cutting board and you see so much fat, juice, and grease just splash from the meat. You can automatically tell it's going to be so soft and they all did indeed melt in your mouth. Gotta try the whole hog and the brisket. Even the sides were all so good and unique in their own way. The beans have meat inside of it. The cornbread which was actually one of the drier items is slathered in some maple honey glaze. And everything else is self serve like the waters, plates, utensils, and to go containers. I can't wait to go back to this spot - a great reason for me to come to a Bushwick neighborhood that I seldom come by.

Finally got to visit their actually location outside of timeout market and surprised that the long lines and crowded space is the same! Such a beautiful memory of Dominican republic that will leave you feeling nostalgic

    Almost* all of the sides!

I've had a lot of barbecue food but NEVER have I ever had anything close to this spot! Let me start off by saying that there is plenty of seating and it is so cute inside. In the front of the restaurant are tons of authentic groceries and candy from DR on shelves in the window. Now onto the food- The meat is very high quality and they cook it to perfection. There's crunch where there's supposed to be crunch and it is still so juicy. The flavor profile is UNMATCHED! The sides are also out of this world. Please understand that you absolutely cannot go there without getting the beans! I promise you've never had beans like this in your life. I'm seriously impressed and that's a lot coming from me because I eat out at restaurants like it's my full time job! The whole team is exceptional! They are friendly and professional and well-versed on their menu. We came during a rush of people and we ended up having to wait longer than usual. We did not mind one bit and we were expecting it. They discounted our order and came and found us while we were eating to let us know. The fact that they had noticed and they went out of their way to reconcile it without us even complaining speaks volumes on the type of business they're running. I will definitely be coming back with all my family and friends! I've already sent them all the photos. Thank you bark barbecue! Now I need to go home and SLEEP this off

We got the hotpot and skewers combo and the experience was quite nice and different. We ordered the soup base for hotpot with the workers and the skewers as well. All the hotpot items are in the fridge in the back along with the drinks which is also included in the price (all you can drink). We ordered skewers and whatever offerings that came with this option and then went to get stuff for hotpot. I think they have a good enough variety and the fun part is to put the sticks in the hotpot and eat off of it as well. WIth the skewers options, I think each person gets a scallop with vermicelli but we didnt know and we asked for seconds (whooops). the lady was nice enough to give it to us anyway. The workers are super attentive and very helpful. As for drink options, they have a variety of sodas, wong lo jie, fruity drinks. I was def happy even though I tried not to drink too much. They also have "snacks" on the back side by the drink fridge that you can help yourself to. Will definitely be back to try the grilll fish option!

While it's a pricier meal, all the food that you get is well worth it. I really loved how many different kind of meat, seafood, veggies, and more that they have. The fact that it's all on skewers makes cooking and eating easy. It's truly such a wonderful dining experience. We came with a large party of 11 and we were more than satisfied. Everything was delicious and I love how easy it is to get more skewers on your own. They also have a large selection of drinks from soy milk to herbal teas. In the end, you also get ice cream although the flavors are pretty basic here. Note that if you pay in cash, you get free durian, which is nice and creamy.

We stayed because our waitress was extremely nice and understanding. We ordered ribs, brisket salad and their famous Mac and cheese from the elbow room. The ribs and brisket did not disappoint they were fall off the bone tender. The Mac and cheese was very cheesy but too starchy. (never had that taste in Mac and cheese before) the salad was flavorful but the croutons could have broken a tooth. This was a somewhat pricey meal and was subpar the bright side was the amazing waitress who made us feel comfortable in spite of the circumstance. Do better, treat your staff better, they did not deserve to work in this temperature with no air, shame on you for that.
