First time and it was such a great experience. Came in on family trivia night and didn't know it. Super cute idea. I had a single bare smash burger and it was juicy and flavorful would just want more onions but not complaining. My daughter had the build your own bareburger and also really enjoyed hers. For apps we did the fried pickles I didn't really care for them but my daughter said they were yummy. She had a strawberry lemonade and I had a hibiscus marg it was supposed to be spicy and I was disappointed because it wasn't and a bit too sweet for my taste but not horrible. Quite possibly the best hot pastrami sandwich I've ever had. The Mile High was great!

Service was extremely slow (very nice ladies though). I believe part of it was that the orders for two tables in our area were wrong (they were sent back / returned, or missing parts/patties). Our table's orders were correct, but we were one of the few tables left outside by then. Took maybe 30 minutes between ordering to getting our food to table. Outdoors is quite nice when it's a nice day out, but the outdoor tables seem to get forgotten. The truffle wagyu smash burger has basically no truffle flavor whatsoever. I believe they only add truffle salt, so the one bit that had extra salt on it was just salty, not truffle-y. Generally, I personally don't do wagyu burgers since ground meat defeats the purpose of wagyu (also I highly doubt it's real wagyu / it's American not Japanese for the price point). The meat to bread ratio is also off (kind of like eating a McD burger with a puffier potato bread). Honestly I would've enjoyed McD more since it's consistent. We went here because we haven't tried bareburger yet. Plus, just having legit wagyu the night before probably doesn't cut it. Cheesesteak was fine, the meat was juicy but the aioli was the supposedly the same sauce as in the truffle wagyu, but tasted stronger/more pungent. Had the pleasure of visiting this place again this time I tried the tequila mule. Made by this wonderful bartender known as Jackie. Jackie is a true gem to the establishment. Very knowledgeable about her craft. I was just going to order a Mule but Jackie recommended the tequila mule. Which was very tasty. Food was excellent and staff were friendly. Menu has changed a bit since the last time I was at a Bareburger but it didn't disappoint. The Cheesesteak blew me out of the water, it was juicy, cheesy and way better than I expected. I thought the addition of popcorn as a snack while you look at the menu was interesting but hey who doesn't love popcorn! I wish this place was as consistent as some of the other locations but sadly it is not. Sometimes the food is inconsistent and the service is good, and other times it's the opposite. Today it was sadly both. Server made mistakes, the food came out differently than it normally does (and not just different, but poorly made) and the "kid friendly" appeal was also lost with no coloring sheets and not providing kid supplies for dining etc. I'll keep patronizing the other locations but I think this one is just too hit or miss to keep giving it chances. read more

The burgers here are always solid. I prefer the bareburger burgers over others because of how it's not this gigantic meatball between to buns, and overloaded with fixings. I understand that it's a special and probably only for a limited time but the onion smash burgers are the best I've had in a while. I got it last week and offered my husband a bite and we had to go back again so we can each order our own. I appreciate how family friendly it is. There are coloring sheets, and crayons for the little busy bodies. They even have a family trivia night on Wednesdays that we've yet to try. I take off one star because the order never comes out perfect. Once I asked for a chocolate milkshake, and I got a vanilla one. Last week I ordered sweet potato fries for my son and they gave me regular ones. Yesterday we ordered two smash burgers with an order of fries for a special price. The platter only came one burger and we were charged separately for the other burger that we reminded them about. Whenever there is a hiccup in our order, the servers are friendly and quick to make it right but it is a bit of an issue to begin with. Order hiccups aside, I am very glad there is a bareburger location here because a solid standard burger is hard to find in northern Westchester. I've been to Bareburger many times and always love it here. This was my first time to this location. It's smaller than the other ones I've been to. The interior was cozy with tables, booths and bar seating. I ordered the pickles, brussel sprouts and the burger. I loved the spicy milkshakes they used to have, but these unfortunately were taken off of the menu. Our food came out relatively quickly; we went on a slower week night. Bareburger! Simply a great spot for snacks or a quick bite to eat. My favorite is the impossible nuggets. Fries are good too! I've gone to many burger joints in my day and this one is at the top! Not only was the food delicious but the service was great and the atmosphere and even the bathroom lol. I knew it would be a good spot when the ketchup and mustard they bring for the table is delicious (I think it is homemade). I mean who does that lol. Great start. Then we decided to get an app- the fried pickles with the garlic aioli sauce delish. Even the seasoning on the pickles was good. My husband enjoy the aioli more than I did but I still have no complaints. I liked using there mustard on my pickles. It's a ground-type mustard which I'm usually not a fan of but it was great. We also took advantage of happy hour and got two Moscow mules for $4. They also offer beer and martins for happy hour. For the main meal my husband got the Elk burger it came with bacon, wild mushrooms, smoke sauce, cheese on brioche bun- he loved it! It was cooked medium-we didn't even have to ask, so it was perfect (we not about that well done burger life). I got the impossible burger with caramelized onions and cheese and aioli sauce and I added lettuce, tomato, and onion. They also have veggie burger options as well which I may try next time. Just so many options..it's great I gotta add my husband was very satisfied with the menu- that they had meat and non meat options as my husband liked the meats and I do not prefer them lol. So he was happy it just wasent some generic burger for the meat option but that there was options... Great place to bring friends or family because there is something for family everyone. We ordered from here for delivery to consume after returning home from vacation on the later side. I like that it is open later (10pm if google is accurate) for the few of us in Westchester who do not go to bed at 9pm. I'm vegetarian and I adore all of their vegetarian options. Speaking of options, they have fucking OSTRICH burgers. What on earth? I am also keen on the ability to order a lettuce wrap instead of a bun or omit the bun all together. I had just eaten little but garbage on my trip so was hoping to turn things around and ordered a salad. A few of the salads automatically come with meat (it would be nice for that to be an add in) so I went with the cali salad with avocado, cauliflower rice, beet hummus (this was not in mine), marinated organic black bean, baby kale, organic grape tomato, and sunflower seeds with a citrus dijon dressing. The size of the salad was disappointing and would not suffice for a binge-eater like myself. Otherwise, the salad was very tasty and all of the ingredients were fresh. GF ordered the impossible shrooming burger and very much enjoyed it. We ordered fries to share and they were promptly placed in the air fryer before I was able to see them so I cannot comment on the crispiness. They were VERY solid fries that paired well with the provided ketchup. This will make it on the delivery rotation for sure. read more

Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. I was quite literally just there, the popcorn chicken great the service was great until it wasn't. I got two smash burgers, mind you a smash burger should be a crispy flat burger. (I've gotten it before from a different bare burger location & came out just like that). When it arrived it was so raw the second bite I had to spit out. Our waitress with curly dark hair noticed the burger was torn apart and I wasn't eating it, then we made eye contact and I tried kindly calling her over and she turned around went inside and disappeared after checking on us when not needed a million times. She finally comes over after 15 minutes I told her the burger was completely raw and I wasn't expecting that considering I've gotten it before. she was nice and took it back with no issue. I asked for the check and she took another 15 minute, (there is only two people in the restaurant at this point including me) then came back and said yeah the kitchen told me to let you know smash burgers come medium now? Instead of I'm sorry the burger is you received was not edible . I don't know if they don't ur understand the concept of a smash burger but it's not a medium kind of thing. Not to mention she did not let us know that's how they decided to make smash burgers. Then when she did arrive with the check and instead of waiting one second for us to put down the card she immediately disappeared again. This time to the point where I had to come inside and pay myself. It wouldn't have been a problem if she didn't have to make that remark and all of sudden keep disappearing after that happened when we were super nice reassuring it wasn't her fault. The burger was also NOT medium and completely raw I have a picture the outside was gray and inside was fully uncooked it probably saw the grill for a total of 30 seconds front&back. We came here for a quick bite. It's a cute place. Friend seems to enjoy his Buffalo chicken sandwich. We split fries and vegan nuggets. Would it kill them to throw a few fries or some cole slaw on the plate next to my $14 burger? This location is busy! Arrive at off times or early or you will wait! Servers are very nice. We have been coming to Bareburger Mt Kisco for a few years now, at least 5-6 times. Overall it's consistently good place for burgers. We originally were getting beef burgers but have now switched primarily to the Impossible Burger which is awesome and very close if not better than a beef burger. My kids like this place too. They're generous enough to split a Banana foster milkshake between three of my kids. One of my kids eats GF and is "impressed with the bun". I like the add-ons to the burgers since they have a wide variety. I especially like the pickled jalapeños. The dill pickle side comes in a small Mason Jar.
