Pricing is based on weight of the salad, so I was a little taken aback that two salads (add avocado), and two seltzer's were just short of $30. The place is nestled in the plaza close a bookstore, coffee shop, and several delis of varying flavors. So they do have some competition and without any outdoor seating available I think it's a rough time for them. However, right across the way is a little park with benches and a few tables, so you can sit and eat safely. I imagine they handle a lot of delivery and takeaway orders. Bottom line is the food is fresh, flavorful, and I'll be back for a good salad.

The chocolate chip cookie, though generously chipped and served delightfully warm, fell a bit flat on flavor. Similarly, the latte, while hot and satisfying, was overwhelmingly milky, lacking the robust punch of a quality espresso. Here is how it ranked: Chocolate Chip cookie: 3.5/5 stars. Good texture, high butter content, but flat taste. Latte: 3.5/5 stars. Nice and hot, good alternative milk option, but too mild on espresso. This cafe is a perfectly pleasant spot for a moment of refuge and a hot cup of something, especially if you're not concerned with a full-bodied coffee experience or a truly exceptional baked good. Nowhere on your website does it say "reservations only," yet that's exactly how I was treated. I felt so uncomfortable that I chose to leave without even placing an order. I walked in ready to spend money and enjoy a meal, and instead I walked out feeling dismissed. You lost a paying customer. What makes this worse is that I later told the same friend I originally went with, and she shared that when she calls ahead for a party of two, they simply tell her to come in because there are plenty of seats and that reservations aren't even required. So clearly, reservations are not the issue. That makes the way I was treated feel intentional and different. As a Palestinian who spends a lot of time in Paterson, I'm very familiar with Middle Eastern restaurants and pricing. Lentil soup is a staple on our menus. I know what a reasonable price looks like. For example, Kral Pide in Paterson charges $7. Charging $15 for lentil soup is excessive. It's not just high, it's outrageous. I'm extremely disappointed. I came back because I genuinely liked this place. Instead, I left feeling uncomfortable and disrespected. I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone, nor will I be bringing friends or family to this establishment again.
