The staff was super friendly and patient! I tried the fish tacos (2 in a regular order) and I thought the portions were a little bit small, but you can ask for a third taco for about $3 extra. My favourite sauce has to be the burrito one and their signature hot sauce -- definitely give it a try, even if it's just by asking for it on the side. Our server actually allowed us to sample all their sauces to see which ones we preferred. Unlike their tacos, the burritos come in hefty portions and you may choose to share. All I can say is wow!! I really enjoyed this burrito bowl. The ingredients taste so fresh and the portion size is a bit bigger compared to Chipotle but price point is similar. Their different specialty hot sauces were really nice and comes in a variety levels of "hot". I went in to order and they have a really organized and safe ordering line. The staff was wearing their hairnets, masks and gloves properly which made me feel a lot better while ordering. Overall great experience and I'll definitely be back to order again! read more

Very bad location, and doesn't hold up to the name of barBURRITO compared to its downtown Toronto locations. If you like watery, tasteless, and bland quesadillas then come here, otherwise El Bocho or Mexican Amigos down the street will give you a run for your money. read more

In my opinion, I love eating here. Though I do think their salsa is very dry and the amount you pay for guacamole is quite unreasonable for the amount they actually give. The place itself is very clean and is nice to sit at. There was one time I went with my younger sister who's in high school and she got the student deal. The lady asked for my sister's student ID, which was very reasonable, but unfortunately, my sister forgot it. Then the lady proceeded to ask what school my sister goes to, but my sister is also autistic so she had to take time to process each question she's being asked and the lady was not patient at all. In addition, there was also no one waiting in line behind us as it was just us in the restaurant. When my sister finally answered, she then asked if the school is nearby. With my sister being autistic, she didn't fully comprehend what she meant by "nearby" as she didn't know how near would that lady consider as "nearby," so my sister asked me the same question the lady asked her. I responded to my sister and said, "yes" and the lady impatiently said to my sister, "She's not the one going to this school." In the end, this made our service that day very unpleasant, so now if we ever do eat from here, we just order delivery. read more

Super delicious and amazing food! You can definitely tell almost everything is fresh and made with care. So far I've had several amazing burritos and tacos, a tasty hit every time! And don't get me started on how fantastic their churros are!! I never used to like churros, but after these guys I realized I had simply never had an actual GOOD churro! 10/10, highly recommend!! Just opened this week. Staff was friendly, but not too knowledgeable about burrito stuffings. Good selection though. I had the spicy buffalo chicken burrito. Only one choice of salsa? Overall burrito was tasty and I'd order it again. Had side of nacho chips with salsa and guacamole. Again, very tasty, but portion was small. I'd go back. Hope it sticks around. read more

Food was ok but very stingy on the guacamole. $1 for a knife's worth of guacamole, reminds me of how expensive pizza toppings are for what you get. When I go to Chipotle, I get 4 times the guacamole and I don't have to pay extra when ordering the veggie bowl. I probably wouldn't go back. read more

Very disappointed with the service. Ordered on line and had to wait 20 minutes when I got there for 3 items. Other people came in to order on the spot and got there orders before me. This is now my go-to mexican food place! I usually don't write reviews but everytime I go here I really enjoy my food so much I just have to review it now. Even before this pandemic, the store has always been clean and now they have great protective barriers and spaced out seating outside. This time I got a chicken burrito and my friend got a steak bowl and it was so yummy and filling. The real treat was the fries though, I don't think i've ever had fries this crispy and delicious before. The staff is always so friendly and kind, I see reviews about how the wait is long but i've never had a problem with that. read more

Worst customer service ever! There was a issue with skip the dishes and after waiting for 2 hours , I look online to see the store closes at 9 when I placed my order at 7pm, management said come in and pick my order up I came and even though I ordered paid through skip , I came out in freezing rain in my Pj to pick up the order I didn't bring any wallet or phone with me as I already has paid spoke to management that I was coming to pick my food , I got there and the refused to give me food until I cancelled my order through skip and pay them again !! Came here with my coworker during our lunch break. It looked good but we left EXTREMELY disappointed. First of all the whole bowl was tasteless. Secondly, their servings are so cheap. They give you huge bowls that are more than half way empty. I asked for extra guacamole and she gave me not even a tablespoon full. We didn't finish our food, the rest went in the garbage. This location has been open for just over a month now. The service is unfortunately not getting any better than when it first opened. The staff prioritize Skip The Dishes and other takeout orders over in-person customers and have more people-power dedicated to preparing the food for those services than for people who actually come into the store to eat. We waited 20 minutes for 5 bowls to be prepared, and there were only 3 customers in line in front of us. When we left, there were 6 people waiting behind us. Unfortunately the staff cannot keep up and their product knowledge is not great. It's a shame that they have a brick and mortar location for customers and don't have their customer service game down yet. If they want to succeed in this plaza, it would be beneficial for them to train their staff better and reconsider how they manage their delivery service orders. These should not take priority over people that actually take the time to come in and order. There are tons of other restaurant options on this corner with quicker and better service. The manager offered us 3 free cans of pop for our wait, even though we ordered 5 meals. She also did not charge us for extra cheese on one of the bowls. While this was appreciated, I still wouldn't return to this location unless they really stepped up their game. We would have preferred better service and no freebies. I helped open up a franchise of a reputable Canadian restaurant chain a few years ago and none of this would have been acceptable to the manager or owner. I would have been fired. We had opening weekend to work out the kinks and that was it. They also used a Crayola washable marker to write on the lids of each of the items, and by the time we got home everything was wiping off. A permanent marker would have been a more logical choice I'm really hoping they make some majorly quick improvements, because the food is pretty tasty and the staff seemed to be trying their best.
