The friendly and professional greeting from Vera, outdoor kitchen design and appliances purchases were as easy as Sunday morning from Richard were great. Now my family and have continued the dream and are awaiting our first Sunday breakfast on our soon to be built and installed outdoor kitchen so I can rock it and make bacon, pancakes, eggs and hash browns. I purchased a American Outdoor Grill from BBQ Galore in February of 2022. Grill was not installed until June of 2022. It took 4 months for it to be delivered and installed. I purposedly bought and AOG because it was locally manufactured in the City of Industry and I wanted to purchase a American made product. Last week the wiring behind the knob to turn on the middle burner fell apart. I called BBQ Galore and they refused to stand be hind the product and fix it under warranty. There is no reason that the wiring harness should have fallen apart except for poor quality workmanship or the wiring it-self is defective. Either way I will never again set foot in a BBQ Galore store or purchase any product made by R.H, Peterson company again. In order to use the BBQ I will have to buy new wire harness and pay for an additional service call. This BBQ cost $ 3000. Sad thing is I was a returning customer to BBQ Galore. They certainly have lost me as a customer. read more

Absolutely awful. I walked in this morning, a Thursday around 11am and found no one. I needed a hose for my BBQ and was in a pinch. I walked all the way to the back where the counter is, no one there. I decided to try and find the propane supply hose that I needed myself and walked the entire store, nothing was out on display or easily availble. I wondered if the employee(s), who still hadn't acknowledged my existance, were in trouble or something. I made an effort to look for them again, I saw one in a green shirt, just inside the back area washing his hands at a sink. I waited a bit more and it became apparent he wasn't in any distress, he had just made the decision I wasn't worth his time and never said a word or paid any attention to me, hoping I'd go away. I was carrying the old propane supply hose in my hand, so I'm sure he had decided I wasn't worth his time. Anyhow, if you need parts for a BBQ, this place sucks. If you have any questions about a BBQ, this place sucks again. Looking for any type of customer service, it sucks once more. If you have several thousands to spend on some new huge BBQ setup, maybe they will at least talk to you. Coming in and out of the store, they have bells on the door that make noise, so not hearing me coming in or out and walking around isn't an excuse. Did I tell you this place sucks. read more

It seems like the workers are knowledgeable in some areas and clueless in others. I walk in and see that the Weber kettle premium 22inch was on the floor. I asked to see the Weber kettle 22 inch with the basic ash try, model 741001.... they tell me weber doesn't sell it anymore and have not sold it for some time. Hahaha! Clearly they do, it's on their website and other stores sell it. I thought I could help a local business but opted not to. I don't know if they we're clueless or being salesman to get me to buy the premium. I went to Home Depot and found what I needed. read more

Great selection on both propane and gas grills, oodles of flavours of wood chips for the smoker and a vast selection of spices and marinades. Who the heck is John Henry? A freaking genius is who! They have a good third of a wall filled with his different flavoured rubs and the Apple Jerk Rub is delish! Definitely recommended to try whatever strikes your fancy, its $9 for a decent size bottle. Hubby and I were next door to get a few things framed. I noticed this place when we drove past it on Imperial Highway, so we decides to go in as we're int he market for a BBQ. Unfortunately, we don't have that large of a patio, and the smallest one they had was right in the front. But, it was definitely fun to walk around and see the other BBQs they have. Definitely the kind that are large and in charge. Definitely on my "I want" list, but definitely on the reason of "no place to put it". Hubby's parents, on the other hand... Anyways, nice, grand selections of some of their BBQs. They also have BBQ sauces, wood planks, skewers, etc. Loved the spotlessness of this place. The service was good. We were greeted with smiles and they all asked if we needed any help. As we were only browsing and we let them know that we really don't have that much outdoor space, they were very cool in allowing us to just browse. I really liked the BBQ/outdoor seating combos. Very classy. It basically became a BBQ elongated into a bar that you can sit at. So, it may be an option for us if we decide to go for their smaller BBQ. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I would give zero stars if I could. I purchased over 10G with BBQ Galore in Brea, CA on 4/29/2018. Part of that purchase ($500.00) went towards the install with Outdoor Entertainment Designs. It's now 2019 and it's still not finished. I have since considered the job abandoned. All they had to do was extend the BBQ island, put on tile we purchased from OED, put on cut stone and set in the two cabinets, True 24" fridge, and Twin Eagles 36" Grill. I have had to hire someone else now to finish the job. Which they pointed out to me all the mistakes they made. Alberto Olivo simply does not care about his company Outdoor Entertainment Designs any more and BBQ Galore should NOT refer customers to them EVER! The reason why I'm giving this one star is the owner of BBQ Galore met Alberto on site (at my house) months ago to get this resolved. BBQ Galore didn't do anything to get this resolved. Being that I PAID BBQ Galore $500 toward this install, they are obviously working together and therefore responsible. read more

I pay $1500.00 cash for a nice grill three weeks ago. Allen tells me they offer no delivery, no setup service. Nor do they have a setup referral. Allen said go to Yelp and search on Barbecue grill repair. I did, the guy charged $365.00, but could not connect the grill to my gas line. The gas company does that. A week later I discover the gas company does not connect gas grill. Frustrated, I call BG and Allen offers a full grill setup service for $165, plus $65.00 for another connection kit. We went in to purchase a new Turbo Grill from the Brea store and it has been nothing but trouble from the get go. The Sales guys Paul and Richard have no idea whats really going on, ordered the wrong parts, gave me an original grill that was all dented up because they dropped it. Oops forgot to tell you that. they did replace it, however I am already dealing with having to replace parts. Buyer be aware....might as well just but one as HD or Lowes and save yourself a heart attack with BS products that are overpriced. read more

Despite all of the one star reviews, my husband & I went here to look at the Green Mountain pellet grill & smoker. The salesmen were friendly & helpful. We ended up buying the Daniel Boone model, wood pellets & a grill cover. The price was fair & we will probably come back here to make other purchases. read more

I bought a Barbeque from BBQ in 2010 and recently needed of new cooking grids. Searched for replacements on line and was unsuccessful. I stopped in BBQ Galore and Bryan help me out. Their computer system showed that the cook grids (cast iron or Stainless) we're discontinued for my model. However, Bryan called their corporate tech support and was able to find SS cooking grids from my BBQ. Cost me $242 but better than buying another $1000 BBQ. Since I did not live near Irvine I had always depended on the folks to assist at the Brea location specifically for parts or service if needed. One particular employee Zack has been very helpful and extremely knowledgable on the service capabilities of my BBQ. They bent over backwards to help me purchase a fire table with no wait time due to my wanting to provide some happy final moments for our dying father. High quality products and knowledgeable sales associates, but read very, very carefully the mandated release of liability for product delivery to your home or business. It transfers 100% of the risks of damage to the buyer if the delivery team damages your structure or property. Why would any intelligent buyer willingly assume responsibility for damage caused by others? Not a litigious type, but annoyed that the message was "sign our waiver so we assume no responsibility, else we won't deliver your product." We unwound the committed sale and will look elsewhere. Do not buy your grill from this place. They have a pretty good selection but my experience with them was horrible. I purchased a top of the line weber grill and waited for a call for the delivery date. I called the store up to about 10 times over the course of the month asking where the grill was. They gave me the run around. No one really wanted to deal with this problem. They said the delivery company was backed up. So the day that the grill was suppose to come (mind you this is close to one month later), i'm waiting at home, I get no call from them. I wait until the late afternoon and I decide to call the store. They had no idea what was going on so they said they were going to call me back. Of course they did not follow up. So I called them and they said "your grill got damaged". They had no grill for me after all this time. Then to really show that they have no idea, the delivery company calls me to set up a delivery. I told the delivery people that the grill has been damaged. I did get a refund. I ordered from Amazon.com - no delivery fee and it came within 10 days.
