Ive noticed a wave of places going back to doing traditional Catalan cooking in a more refined way. Something akin to Paris' biatronomy from years ago. Bar Canyi looks like the countless corner corner eateries that aell wither Galician specialties lr your very generic "Spanish" fare that hooks tourists.
If you're outside you certainly wont be ablento tell but inside there is a modern, insanely clean take on the counter service. They even incorporate the vinyl listening bar component into it. Berberochos, red prawns, pinchos morunos, and a Catalan stewed rabbit was the late meal. All very good.
Service is affable but not overwhelming though they have tons of team members for such a small place.
