I'm not really sure what was happening there tonight, but as a first time customer I don't think that I will be a repeat customer. Firstly, we tried to make reservations and were told they don't take reservations, however when we arrived there were reservations for other groups. There only seemed to be a handful of servers and bartenders (I get the short staffed issue as I work in a restaurant also) but there was ZERO organization. I can't even tell you who our server was supposed to be tonight because we had FIVE different people wait on us in the time that we were there. It seemed like every single person working was just back and fourth to all the tables and areas instead of dividing tables like is usually done in a restaurant, and it definitely didn't seem like there was anyone there that was in charge or was in control of the situation. After our food had been in for 20 minutes (for real, we could see the tv timer with our order in it) we were told they were out of what we ordered. I understand it was mothers day and I expected a wait for our food (although1/2 the tables in our room were empty), but it shouldn't take 20 minutes before you realize that you're out of what we ordered. My steak was way undercooked, but my husband said his burger was good. No one came to check how our food was at any point while we were eating. It was so unorganized that we even were asked about ordering deserts by one server AFTER another server had already cashed out our checks. Again, I understand being short staffed, but some organization and basic communication would've gone a long way in making our experience better tonight. read more

I called today to place an order for pickup. The girl hung up on me. I called again and the same girl said, "Stop f**king calling". "Hardly no one is here". I was shocked with the language. I called back with the intent of asking to speak to the manager and another girl answered and hung up on me. We will NEVER go there again! read more

I had a grilled steak kebob and it was just awful. Bland, no seasoning just grilled marks, and it was dry. My dad had their prime rib special and it was the saddest "BBQ" special I've ever tasted. Food was terrible! We were served on foam plates. We ordered an Appetizer of fried pickles. The Fried pickles had been frozen and were not freshly made. We ordered the 1/2 BBQ chicken. I got mine with apple sauce and pasta salad. Chicken had not BBQ taste or flavor and the applesauce had white onion pieces in it. We will never be going back. read more

I hesitate to give this place even one star, but I have no other option. After seeing the electronic sign "best ribs" I thought we would give it a try. My daughter and I stopped for lunch. Her comment while eating the chicken was "I know why the food is so cheap, it is terrible". I had the ribs, not one ounce of smoke flavor and no seasoning to speak of. This place is fantastic. All of the food from appetizers to full dinner meals are prepared well and cooked perfectly! The waitresses are very attentive and friendly and the open kitchen allows for perfect observation of food cooking which I love! Typical bar menu &over priced! Pouring bbq sauce from a bottle anyone can buy at Sam's Club or BJ's isn't authentic Bar B-Q. The owners allow over-drinking with not consequences, if a fight happens, it's on you to protect your party, there is NO BOUNCERS or SECURITY! Back to the food & service....the food is just plain non-tasty bar food, nothing that will bring me back again. The service is horrible, the beers are luke-warm at best, when I told the bartender the beer was warm, he offered to bring me a glass w/ ice in it. Don't waste your hard earned money on this place! All they are concerned about is their bottom line & NOT your experience at the BAR B-Q.... BTW.....it's turned into a biker bar, so there's a lot of beer muscles & testosterone always present. read more

My old boyfriend and I would ride up on the motorcycle here! It's a cool spot for bikers! In the summer time it's really great because they the restaurant open. I do remember live bands playing there. My ex didn't believe that the food was great, he liked the atmosphere more. I loved it both! The food was delicious! Although there wasn't a huge portion that you received, but I thought it was a cool experience every single time! One time a waitress told me the manager asked if I wanted to join in the Bikini Contest that weekend, so they have them, too! If you have a bike, definitely check it out! read more

Gotten sick from the food countless times. Servers are good but the place is a desert. Only certain foods seem safe. They're pulled pork and salads are good. But they're chicken made me ill as well as they're burgers. The pit is not what it used to be. The smoking rules are also very dumb. I wish I could trust the food but I can't after numerous incidents. I will not every recommend this place again or give it my business. read more

Now, hear me out. I was never a big fan of the BBQ food here. BUT, I was in recently and a very nice bartender talked me into trying the Prime Rib dinner. I believe it was $18 for the king cut. I reluctantly gave in and ordered it along with a side of mash potatoes with gravy and zucchini. It was the best Prime Rib I had in a very very long time. Cooked perfectly and the taste was great. The sides were just as good. I will try other things to see of anything improved on the BBQ side. Keep in mind, I'm a year round griller and I do a lot of smoking meats myself so it's hard to beat my BBQ and smoked food :) read more

This place is great! The prices are low and they give you a whole lot more food than what you expect for the minimal prices you pay. My favorite item on the menu is the dressed up chicken sandwich which comes with two sides. I usually get the applesauce and baked potato. For dessert they have an awesome strawberry cheese pie...I've never heard of a cheese pie before going to the pit but it is delicious. I highly recommend giving this place a try. read more
