This place is absolutely wonderful and a great spot for a date. We went here to celebrate a…read morebirthday and were not disappointed with the decision. The food was outstanding. You can tell the chefs are dedicated to the craft. They're a 2025 bib gourmand restaurant and are hoping to aim for their first star, so their efforts into the decor, ambiance, and food shows (good luck!). The waitstaff/chefs were also very attentive. Mussels Tart - really delicious. Super unique and beautifully plated. No taste of fishiness or the ocean. Just overall a 5/5 dish that you must try. Beef tongue - I normally enjoy beef tongue thinly sliced at a Korean BBQ restaurant or coarsely chopped up in a street taco. They do it differently here. The beef tongue is one big cube. It's very flavorful and tender. Not as amazing as the mussels tart but still worth a try. Chili crab - this put them on the map. SUPER DELICIOUS. It's not what you'd expect from a creation called 'chili crab'. There's no shell to be seen and the crab meat is actually buried underneath. Scoop from the inside out. Tons of flavor and I wished the portion size was doubled. Lamb pappardelle - if you like lamb then you'll love this. Lots of different spices and flavors. It has a very deep flavor profile that makes you appreciate all the work and thought that went into designing this dish. I'd get this again also! Strawberry tiramisu - they brought this out for the birthday celebration. They prepared it in a gigantic bowl. Scooped out a generous portion and plated it right in front of us. I have a soft spot for tiramisu so I'd recommend this too. Best of luck on the Michelin star! I'd come back. 5/5

We came here on a Friday evening for our anniversary dinner via car in mid-July 2026. There was a…read morepaid parking lot with a 3-hour maximum for around $13 across the street. We thought the restaurant and staff really tried but definitely missed the mark here. We order 7 items and was only happy with 2 of those items. My favorite was the virgin Hotel Monta-Stereo drink, which is pretty sad because it wasn't even a food dish (it was so good that I ordered 2). The 2nd was the Pipirrana because the excellent vinaigrette. We also ordered Pritto which was such a miss because it was served in a bowl that made the all the deep-fried zucchini and chicken soggy. It didn't even come with any kind of aioli and the lemon wedge it came with was insufficient. The chicken pieces were too large to be considered a "popcorn chicken" dish. What makes popcorn chicken great is the smaller pieces so that more flavor and crispiness could cover the chicken - a pretty big let down. The Beef Tongue wasn't bad but that was only because we kept the vinaigrette from the Pipirrana to dip it in. Otherwise it was pretty bland. We also got the Chili Crab which was very rich and needed a little more acid - not bad but wouldn't order it again. The last dish we got was the Cabbage, which came out last. It took awhile to come out but when we finally got it, we thought it was just okay. The lemon wedges were absolutely necessary but it still didn't "wow" us. Our reservation was at 7:30pm, we arrived a little after 7:45pm, and was then seated after 7:55pm. We tried ordering the Hamachi dish around 8:15pm and they were sold out. My partner ordered the Herbal Tea but he didn't like it (I thought it wasn't bad as long as you don't let it steep for too long). The entire dinner ended up being $200+ including tax & tip. The waitress spilled vinaigrette all over me, which stained my dress with oil, and they didn't even offer to give us any kind of discount. They have a shockingly low selection of non-alcoholic and non-caffeinated drinks. They were only able to make one drink into a virgin version for me with a $1 discount from its original price of $16. The restaurant was decorated well. The bathroom was nice, the hand soap & lotion smelled nice, and they had paper towels to dry your hands. The service could have been better executed. Because everyone was our waiter, that meant nobody was.

However, the ambiance did not fit the vibe of the restaurant at all? It overall feels like an awkward space and maybe that's due to how empty it was on a Saturday night. We also had a reservation for two people at 6 pm and requested the bar seat however when we got there, they said they couldn't seat us there because people were coming. That I would have understood if it were true. We were there for the next hour and no one came in except for a big party behind us so the restaurant was practically empty. Then later on when we were about to leave another couple came in and they were given the option to choose where to sit. I somewhat got the feeling that the people just didn't care for their customers. As for the food, I first ordered the karaage as I heard it was really good here, and it was. We got it off the happy hour menu and it came with 3 pieces. the meat was nice and tender and the outside had a really nice crisp. It came with a lemon slice, but it could use a little mayo on the side. the edamame was basic but well salted. The negi gyoza was also pretty basic, but good; it was nice and refreshing. The broiled salmon miso was my favorite. It was cooked very well and the flavor was great with a slight sweetness at the end. The Buta Kimchi was a good size but I was hoping for a little more pork, however it was very savory and the kimchi was very flavorful. The Baked Potato Macaroni with Cheese was a confusing name for what it was. It was a baked Mac and Cheese with just a little bit of potato in it. It had a lot of brown butter taste in it, which I enjoyed but it was a bit over powering. Finally the Happa Original Curry Rice was just alright. It felt pretty good and the meat was nicely stewed. I think it would be even better if it were a bit spicy. With decent food, bad pricing, questionable service and an awkward ambiance, I would not come back and would not recommend this restaurant.

The space is small but thoughtfully curated -- part boutique wine shop, part cozy tasting room. You can tell they really put intention behind their selection, with wines from all over (and even some organic/vegan-friendly options if that's your thing). I love that you can grab a glass, do a flight, or just browse and take a bottle home. The rotating wine list keeps things interesting, so it doesn't feel like the same experience every time. The vibe is super relaxed and unpretentious -- definitely the kind of place where you can show up whether you know your wines or just want to sip something cute and call it a day. Bonus points for being able to bring in food from nearby spots since they keep it simple with snacks. Overall, it's giving neighborhood favorite energy. Perfect for a casual date, catch-up with friends, or a solo "I deserve a glass of wine" moment.

I went thru the back door. It's a small boutique wine shop. The restroom is clean and to your right as soon as you enter. A water station to your left. They have several tables and a bar to sit at. Pictures on the wall complimenting the vibe. Everything was clean. The shop is beautiful in its own way. The music wasn't loud, it was just right. It's definitely a welcoming atmosphere. I let the host know that I was there for the wine tasting and he immediately set me up with a menu and a table. I decided on the "shareable flights". I then chose 2 white and 2 red wines. Didn't have a preference so I went with his recommendations or suggestions and allowed him to choose lol. The individuals who were there last night were mostly locals. Had the pleasure of meeting an older couple (Erin and Conrad Stanley) in which I ended up giving my last flight to them while we had an awesome conversation lol. Everyone was friendly and real cool. Not making me feel out of place nor uncomfortable. I also met another couple after they left. I went to the restroom, came back and a couple was standing near my table. So into his conversation, dude sat down then apologized for sitting at my table and I told him it's all good haha. Next thing you know we're all laughing and conversing haha. I really enjoyed my 3 hrs here. I had a great experience. Took a cross word puzzle for my entertainment and ended up meeting some new wonderful people instead. I will definitely be back. No food but you can order from "Olive It" which is next door. I'm bringing my charcuterie board next time tho. They make you feel like you're at home. The service was hospitable. I also had the pleasure of seeing the owners and interacting with the wife as she cleaned the tables and made her rounds checking up on all of the guests. The husband was doing his part also, entertaining at the bar lol and providing whatever services needed. I love it... They do their best to provide professional and friendly service. I have no complaints whatsoever. I was even told they allow dogs. Big win !!! lol

I should've checked the order before I left but I didn't enjoy my experience at the restaurant so I just wanted my food and go home. The crab butter spaghetti though was really good. Like I should've just gotten two ordered of that instead of getting the chicken. I just wish they got the noodles right. Also, I wish there had been more crab meat. You pay about $30 for the dish, you'd expect more than like three small pieces of crab. But like I said, it was actually good. I would probably order it again, if I ever decide to come back. The ambiance wasn't great. The place doesn't look like a place you'd call a bistro with their chicken wire fence and signage. Felt more of a skate park to me when entering and sitting down. I had higher expectations but I had originally came for another reason. I'll see if I give this place another try down the line.
