I enjoyed the hot stone bibimbap which was flavorful. It was sizzling when it arrived and it was bursting with umami. The spicy pork bbq was tasty as well. It had a lot of veggies.

The soy ginger wings were the perfect appetizer--crispy, flavorful, and coated in a sweet and savory glaze that had us reaching for one after another. The beef bibimbap was fresh and well-balanced with plenty of vegetables, tender beef, and a perfectly cooked sunny-side-up egg. Mixing everything together with the sauce made every bite so satisfying. My fiancé loved the kalbi ssam--the short ribs were tender and flavorful, and wrapping everything in the fresh lettuce with the sides made for an awesome meal. What really stood out was how comforting everything felt. As fellow Asians (though not Korean), the food gave us that warm, homey feeling that good Asian comfort food should. The banchan and soup were a great touch, and the portions were generous. This is easily some of the best Korean food we've had so far, and we'll definitely be coming back to try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

My Son and I were there Sunday early afternoon to celebrate the US Men winning olympic gold in hockey earlier that morning and had an excellent experience. The food and service was EXCELLENT. We throughly enjoyed the experience. It's been 6 months since our last visit, it won't be nearly that long before we return. We had a great time. My only negative comment, the appetizer/ sauce bar that I was critical of in September hasn't changed . Management really needs to change that set up. It's just not hygienic, when you lean over the get a plate or bowl stored under that bar, your face is inches away from the unprotected buckets of sauce, it's not a good set up and needs to be changed. It's not like fixing this set up would cost a lot of money to fix and it really should be changed immediately.

Neither was the best I've ever had, but both were definitely good and I'd probably order them again. They also have a steam table with some of the food already prepared when you walk in. I noticed the beef sticks sitting right in front of it, so I figured I'd give them a try. Unfortunately, I wouldn't order those again. They were very fatty and seemed undercooked in the middle. Overall, I'm glad I gave this place a try. The food was decent, but I think I'll stick with the loc lac and banh mi if I come back.

They do have a menu - takeout or dine in (few tables but the space is small) and they also have cafeteria style prepared foods that you can peruse. Located on Reservoir near the Cranston line, there is a small parking lot next to the storefront and some street parking as well. I called in an order for Chicken Mee Ka Tang (Cantonese Noodles), Beef Pho, Cold Cut banh mi, Lort (Cambodian eggrolls) and a Vietnamese coffee for the mister. When we got there I was enticed by the offerings and got a small container of the braised pork and eggs and stuffed bitter melon (don't knock it people, it is an acquired taste, lol). We really enjoyed everything we had but our faves were the banh mi (great flavor and didn't skimp on the meats at all!) and the Mee Ka Tang - it did have a bit more gravy than I'm used to but really great flavors - add a little bit of chili oil or sriracha and chefs kiss! The pork and eggs were a tad bit too sweet and pork was tougher than I'd like other than that, everything was delicious. Service was super quick and food was ready as promised. We didn't have to wait for it at all which I can appreciate! Looking forward to returning to this mom and pop shop!! Can't wait to come back!

We ordered: Maize Runner (fried) - Sweet corn and chicken dumplings (10) served with a summer fruit mayo dipping sauce. Shrimply the Best - Shrimp tempura, Spam, and egg with tonkatsu sauce and house mayo. Service was prompt, and our food arrived in less than 10 minutes. The dumplings were heavily fried. While we enjoyed the filling, the exterior was overdone and overwhelmed some of the flavor. The shrimp sandwich was quite heavy, although the shrimp tempura itself was tasty. While the food wasn't quite for us, service was quick and friendly, and others may enjoy the fusion-style flavors more than we did.

My husband ordered the tonkotsu ramen with a choice of chashu (pork), tempura shrimp, or tofu. He chose the chashu (pork) ($15.25). We took one of the tables and ate our food there. The Japanese Curry Rice Bento was tasty but didn't taste freshly made. However, it was perfect for a cold day. For the ramen, the broth was in a separate container to the noodles. He enjoyed the tonkotsu ramen. It was nice to try other things on the menu, but I preferred the Okinawan rice sandwiches and dumplings at Lobanton. Those are unique in Providence and a must try!

We checked in with the host on the first floor, but she escorted us to the second floor to be seated. I always liked that this restaurant seems to be a small house converted into a restaurant since it literally makes me feel at [someone's] home. We were given QR codes to scan for the menu; not my favorite. I overheard another table ask for paper menus, so it appears there is that option. For a starter, we ordered handmade lamb dumplings and for entrees, original meefen and lamb on dry land with a side of white rice. It all ended up coming out around the same time and the tables are a little small so it felt like an overwhelming amount of food, but it was actually the perfect amount for two people. The lamb dumplings were flavorful, albeit, the wrappers were a tad too soft. The original meefen was very tasty, especially the minced meat. However, the uden noodles don't do a great job of absorbing sauces, so it felt like a lot of the oils and flavor were left behind. The lamb on dry land was good, but it was difficult to eat especially two people. We didn't realize it would be meat on a stick, similar to a turkey leg but less meaty. We ended up eating the easy parts, but took the bone home to finish out of the public eye. The crispy potatoes on top were my friend's favorite. The total was about $50 which was fair. Our waiter and other staff members did an excellent job of getting us all we needed and clearing plates as we finished. Their official website is one of the coolest I have seen since it includes audio and images, but I wish it had a description of what each item is, just like their in restaurant menu QR code.
