The decor is so much better than previous owner (china dynasty). Menu is huge ! So many things to do choose from. I ordered hibachi chicken and steak with noodles. I was expecting low mein noodles but got something different. My family got sushi and loved it.

The menu is enormous, to the point that it's a bit overwhelming. But I've been here a few times no so I feel like I have a better idea of it all. The chicken lo mein is delicious. I prefer the non-as-authentic rice noddles and they use the round noodles, but the taste and content is delicious. The egg rolls are average, nothing really special. My kids love the sesame chicken (I agree it's delicious) and my husband has gotten the hibachi twice and said both times it was delicious. The service is very good, and I love the fact that it's so light and open inside. The old restaurant was so dark you could barely see your food in front of you so it's really nice that it's so bright and light inside. It just feels a million times cleaner.

I recently visited Imperial Dynasty in Cranston for the second time. The atmosphere is very modern and bright. The food is amazing! I had Moo Goo Gai Pan Szechuan style on my first visit, with an egg roll. My meal was delicious! I had an ample portion to take home as well. On my second visit, I had Sesame Tofu. It tasted even better than it looked! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this restaurant!

To start- the menu is huge. Chinese-Japanese fusion with Pho- so an Asian delicacy. The vibe - def new age feel. Bright - modern decor- American poppy music. The open cooking concept was cool - very engaging. The centered bar creates a cool lively feel. The restaurant is open which creates community. The food was good. The Nime Chow was ok but the peanut sauce was thick and added nice flavor. The hot and sour soup was ok. The egg roll was par. The chicken wings were just like the old place - if u know u know- good, sweet and sticky. The chicken lemongrass was ok could have used more sauce. And the rice was ok but full of veggies. The one thing is that the food was all like warm at best. However the sushi was great - the ocean roll was tasty and the eel was fresh. The best thing was the service. The young man was full of suggestions and great conversation. I will come back to sit with him and enjoy good conversations.

Although the remodel is a much nicer atmosphere, the food was simply awful. We ordered all our favorites with absolutely no flavor.

Downtown joint dabbling in both old school Chinese American classics and authentic dim sum. Most of…read morethe Yelp photos hit the dim sum, but most of the customers in the large room stick to memory lane. The place is divided into two halves: tiny bar and three rows of booths on one side; large tables with chairs on the other side. Combo plates available both at lunch (M-F) and dinner (any time). -- Sticky Sweet Soy Garlic Sauce Wings: Wow-worthy, with the darkest sauce I've ever seen, looking like someone poured Hershey's syrup on them. Characteristics of teriyaki, soy, and garlic, and intense sweetness, but all balanced and very different, and there may even be Hershey's in there afterall. More importantly, quite delicious. The wings themselves were really good too, bringing firm to crispy skins and tender, juicy interiors. The sauce hardens over time, so eat these fast. But you'll want to anyway. Near-elite to elite. -- Rice Noodle with Shrimp: Lackluster compared to other versions I've tried. Noodle not as fresh and slippery. Sauce not as flavorful. Shrimp were good but spaced out. Below average. -- Sweet and Sour Chicken (on a dinner combo): Ping pong sized/shaped balls of chicken instead of the usual fingers, but these were excellent. Very high meat to batter ratio, good crispness to the exterior, and decent tenderness inside. Sauce served in the side. No pineapples or cherries, but good contrasting flavors to the sauce and no glop. Well above average, even without the fruit. -- Pork Fried Rice (on the combo): A mixed bag, this had light grains with pleasant but subtle flavor, long-in-the-tooth dry pork nuggetry, and some onions. Flavorful or not, that rice had freshness, moistness, and bounce. All things considered, a little above average, but with potential for higher. -- Egg Roll (on the combo): Felt limp to the touch but had a delicate crispness to it. Inside, a mix of celery, cabbage, and pork, with decent flavor and a moo shi feel. Not bad. A little above average. Lots of ups and downs here, but a reluctant 4 stars thanks to the brilliance of those wings. I scouted plates on other tables on my way to the restroom and saw similar highs and lows, but more highs. Even if the potential goes unfulfilled (and I have higher hopes for the old school than the dim sim), the wings alone would bring me back.

We recently had a nice meal at King's Garden…read more I ordered the pan fried noodles (which in the past has been delivered as crispy noodles), but this time, we got some udon style noodles, lightly pan fried. They were good. We also got the aromatic chicken clay pot (delicious) and the black pepper steak. A dish of garlic bok choy completed the meal selection. Good food, nice flavors, good prices.
