I love the original location, however this second location is a little more spacious. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is delicious Our order came out quickly. The bill is paid right at the table, which is much more secure and much speedier.

Singapore Style Thin Rice Noodles (mixed shrimp, chicken, and beef)

I got the Singapore Style Thin Rice Noodles (mixed shrimp, chicken, and beef), which was good (4/5). Good quality and quantity. The service was pretty quick, and the restaurant has a nice quiet, casual environment, which is easy to have a conversation in. I went back a different day and got the braised beef noodle soup, which was great too (4.5/5)!

To-go Raman is tough to pull off but they did a great job. Thanks! The dumpling platter is a solid pick. It's worth the price. I also ordered a rice and meat dish that was great. All in all impressed with the delivery service and would definitely order again or try in person!

We came during The lunch rush because a bunch of Asians were going in which is always a good sign. The food was good. The service was uneven. My noodles with beef came on a chipped plate. See photo. I only gave it a good rating because everybody liked the food.

my friends took me to try this place out as i was craving something more japanese/korean and i would say this was a good choice!! i got the pork belly bowl which was super satiating and delicious. i loved the sauce that they marinated it with, making the bowl flavorful. though I wish they had given more meat, since the cabbage/kimchi to meat ratio was a bit off. everything else was great and i'm looking forward to coming back and trying other things in the menu! i was definitely eyeing their dumpling section which seem to be popular, so it's def a must try here.

Nicely done Asian food with a particular focus on buns and dumplings. The buns and rolls in particular were clearly crafted with care and offered an excellent combination of textures and flavors. Beyond the dim sum, I ordered mostly vegetarian entrees and was generally happy with each of them: they just weren't at the same level as the buns and rolls. In terms of the restaurant itself, it was an impressive operation in a bustling part of town. I placed a takeout order, and everything was very well packaged and ready to go exactly when the restaurant said it would be. I would definitely try this place again to check out a few other menu items.

Earl Grey Milk Boba Tea with grass jelly - A person holds a plastic-wrapped bubble tea with a yellow straw outside a shop with a sign displaying Asian food items.

This review is only for my Earl Grey milk tea with grass jelly. I liked that I could go straight to their ordering counter to get a bubble tea to go. Their boba menu is quite extensive. I was able to swap out boba with grass jelly with no up charge. They were a bit short staffed when I came during lunch on a weekday. I was able to still get in and out within 15min though. Three stars only because my Earl Grey milk tea was somewhat watered down. Since the grass jelly wasn't sweetened, the overall drink was a bit bland. I would maybe try another tea next time and get more than just grass jelly. Overall it was a good experience. I just wouldn't get the Earl Grey again.

Review is for take-out via Uber Eats. This location is called "Bao II" on the Uber Eats app. I requested "no peanuts, nut allergy" and "rice on the side" and both requests were accommodated. Pick-up around 2PM on a weekday afternoon was ready in about 20 minutes. The food travelled decently well on a 15 minute walk in 35F weather. I ordered the double cooked pork (Double Cooked Pork Belly 回锅肉) and Earl Grey Milk Boba Tea 伯爵珍珠奶茶. My requests were well accommodated, with a nut-free dish and a generous side of appropriately cooked white rice. The portions are very generous - I did not finish the double cooked pork belly and in fact had enough for a second meal later on (with extra fresh rice made at home). I was a bit surprised to note that the double cooked pork was not the Szechuan style that I am familiar with at other restaurants, but instead a more sauce-heavy style of twice cooked pork. The pieces of pork were thicker than other restaurants, and consequently not as tender. The dish came with a generous serving of cabbage, red and green peppers, and onion that all benefitted from the sauce in the dish. There were areas of high saltiness for some reason, and less spice than I would have liked. Overall, I give the twice cooked pork belly a 4/5 for the value, but this is considering that I ordered on a promotion. The Earl Grey Milk Boba Tea was unfortunately a miss. The tea itself was very strong, which was nice. However, the tapioca was tough to chew, improperly formed (difficult to drink because 2-4 balls would be clumped together, as seen in the photo) and overall flavorless, diluting the drink poorly. I would not order boba again and give it a 2/5 for good tea flavor. Overall, I would recommend Bao as a place to do a family-style sharing of dishes, or get take-out food (not boba) with a delivery app promotion.

    Handmade Pork Soup Dumpling
    Sam D.

It's not a bad spot for an inexpensive lunch after a trip to the museum. We ordered for the table and tried to get a little bit of everything. The pork buns were by far the best part of the meal followed by the cucumber salad. The soup dumplings had great flavor to them but the didn't hold their shape causing most of the "soup" to come out before they were able to get on the spoon. I would go back though and give it another shot. There are so many more options on the menu.

Wish they had more vegetarian options tho the ones the have are pretty good! Their veggie steamed buns are great. Also I got the piggy custard buns (delicious) and the quick sand buns (alright, but something tastes weird about them). Also delicious drinks!

I decided to try their special drinks for the first time, I got the Capricorn drink and added some crystal boba to try. I didn't like the crystal boba but it's a personal preference not because of the flavor or anything. The staff was nice. I loved their decorations as well.

    Handmade dumplings
    M S.

Wehad a delicious lunch. Ordered the handmade pork soup dumplings, cucumber salad, rolled pancakes with roast beef, and the hibachi fried rice. Love that it's BYOB... we brought soju. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the rolled pancakes. They were crispy on the outside and chewy and savory inside. We couldn't decide what protein to get for the fried rice so the waitress suggested a combo which was perfect. Everything was made better by the hot chili oil.

Unlike some other hot pot places I've been to, this place only charges for one pot and not for the food you get. I ordered everything that was available and it was all better then the last. I would especially recommend the pork, it was delicious! I had 3 orders of it. As I mentioned before, the food is delicious! While I couldn't get a photo, there was also a sauce bar. You had the option to get a premade one or get your own. I chose to make a teriyaki sauce and it was amazing! Definitely recommend checking it out while waiting for food to arrive. The waiter was so nice, I didn't catch his name but rest assured all of the staff is so nice and kind! They are very informative and know what dishes are good and bad. Now for the part that is hardest to nail down, the restaurant ambiance. I normally don't write about ambiance because to describe an amazing place to someone with just a few words is hard to do, but I felt I had to do it for this one. The restaurant looks very authentic and it is clear that they respect the culture that they represent.

My favorites are the steak short ribs (Galbi), bulgogi, and the Korean fried chicken (you can split the flavors half and half). My friends and I wanted to try something new and so we got the pork ribs (they were ehh); also, the chicken dinner dish was also very average. There was only one mishap once where the fried chicken we got was cold. However, once the waitress knew about this she got us a new dish which was very kind. My favorite though was the chuncheon spicy chicken with cheese and ramen - if you love spicy food you need to get this! I was so sweaty from eating this and I mean this in the most complimentary way. The only constructive criticism I have is that the chive pancake wasn't what I expected - i was thinking it was going to be a flat crispy pancake and it came out as a big roll essentially. It still tasted good though. I can't wait to come back!!

Novo Asian Food Hall is a collection of Asian food, drinks, and desserts in the Strip District, specifically located in the Terminal building. There are individual restaurants and businesses serving their specific cuisine. There is a bar in the center of the floor, a non-alcoholic drink place, a bakery, and several restaurants. At the time of this visit, there were 4 different food stands, 1 tea/drink stand, 1 bakery stand, and the bar area. There is not specific designated parking for the Food Hall, but there is paid parking all around the Terminal building. Additionally, there are other options for street and paid lot parking throughout the Strip. There are several entrances to Novo - from the Terminal side on Smallman Street, from the back side of the building, and also a side entrance if you are already in the Terminal. The Food Hall is very large, and is easily identified with the signage. We stopped in on this night a little before 8 PM, and it was not too crowded. There were patrons for the restaurants and at the bar, but there were still plenty of seats all around the place. There are high and low top tables all around the dining room, and there is even bar seating in the center. You can sit wherever you please, as it is open seating. There are water pitchers and cups placed near the trash cans that are available for use by anyone in the Hall. On this trip, we purchased food from KungFu Chicken and Tan Vac Lien 2. Everything we had was good! It is nice to be able to mix and match different foods from the various stands to create a meal. I like to try new items from the different stands each time I visit the Food Hall. However, I have found some favorites that I find myself going back to each time (Fishcake Corn Dog!) The prices throughout Novo vary depending on which stand you are at. Some items can be a little pricy, but overall I believe the pricing is fair. A plus of being able to get such a variety of items is that you can share with a group, which may help to keep the cost manageable. Novo has good hours, but not all the stands are always all open at the same time. So, I would double check the place you wish to go will be open during your visit. Overall, I really like Novo Asian Food Hall, both conceptually and in practice. This has been a fun addition to the Strip, and I have enjoyed getting to try lots of different foods and cuisine during my visits. My only critique/note is that I hope that the vacancy of one of the stands can be filled quickly to add even more options and variety. I would recommend stopping here if you are looking for authentic Asian cuisine with a fun, social atmosphere. I look forward to trying even more of the options here during my future visits!

I wouldn't really call this a supper club to be honest but the place definitely carries a house music bar vibe and the back bar area and seating is very dimly lit, perfect for cozying up and enjoying a drink late night. The ladies' room was so dark, I mistook it for a storage area because I could only make out a white ladder in the corner that was being used as cute shelving. The place is seat yourself. Our waiter was not super friendly and didn't offer to give us napkins or anything when our wobbly table caused our drinks to splash all over the place. The cook served our chicken with a big smile and happy interaction and we really loved his personality. The bartender also stopped by to bus our table and he was very pleasant as well. We enjoyed the perfectly fried small plate cauliflower with the plum sauce and the fried cheese/garlic wonton bites with the sriracha mayo spicy dipping sauce. The fried chicken breast on the large plate was slightly overcooked with a maple gochuchang sauce that was very bland. We were so thankful that the large plate fried chicken came with a side salad to offer some respite from the heaviness of the fried dishes. It would have been great to have some side acidic or fresh vegetable options like Kimchi or something. Maybe we tried the wrong dishes and there are other not fried things that are delicious? The dirty martini cocktail was just so-so, not really much flavor at all, but the mojito was very good and refreshing. It's probably a good late-night place for a bite and drink.
