We recently bought a replacement bezel for my wife's watch, so yesterday we stopped by to see if they could swap it over for us. When we asked if this was a service they could provide, not only were they friendly and attentive, the jeweler took it to his workbench and returned with the watch sporting its new bezel in only a few minutes. When we asked "how much?", he informed me that there would be no charge. Now I'm not trying to say that they won't charge you for any kind of servicing of your jewelry (our need was a quick & simple one), just that their friendliness and professionalism was exemplary and it has certainly won our future business.

Beware!!!!!!!! This used to be a trusted and reputable place but that is no longer the case…read more I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience here deserves one. My elderly father dropped off an expensive watch in perfect condition for a routine service/battery change at Pinetree. The owner of the store, Scott, gave the watch to his "watch lady" who kept it for a month. To get the watch returned, I had to call Scott repeatedly until he was able to get the "watch lady" to return the item. Upon return, it was discovered that the battery had not been properly replaced and we had to send the watch to New York for a $600 repair. There is documentation that the jeweler (or his watch lady) caused the damage. I expected a basic level of accountability, especially when the damage clearly occurred while the watch was in their care. Scott was contacted, reimbursement was requested, but there has been no response. Mistakes can happen, but refusing to make things right is unacceptable. This is not how a reputable business treats its customers. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere that stands behind its work.
