I called around to find a shop & found this one! I saw & read the bad reviews but didn't let that deter me. I'm so glad I went!!!!! Is this place expensive? Yeah. I paid $90 for my nose piercing. Did I get what I paid for? Fuck yeah. I got top notch titanium jewelry and excellent service. Amara pierced us and she was so gentle, and fast!! We were in and out within 20 minutes. Went into the store and was getting my Tragus redone within 10 minutes. The pricing was fair and competitive, about what you expect with Covid-19 supplies diminished. My piercer was lovely- able to get the earring in despite some massive scar tissue. Changed her gloves after cleaning the wound and wore a mask throughout the piercing. The store itself is a mask exempt store and they will check your vaccination card at the door. Not a problem with digital cards. I definitely left knowing the shop was clean, and the piercer was knowledgeable. They also provided me with shower caps for my ears and saline wound wash to get started. read more

I came to this shop because it was the only one I could get into last minute on a Sunday, when I realized I lost two of my jewelry piercings. The shop is clean, and the staff is friendly. I wish I could give this place more stars, but they seem a bit expensive compared to other high-end places. From my experience, the average cost for swapping out jewelry is $10, they charge $20 here. Their Jewlery seems to be more expensive as well & they charge separately for the front piece of jewelry, and the back of the piece of jewelry. Tip: They charge you a five dollar fee to use a credit card. read more

While browsing for new jewelry, I considered returning to this shop for a decent $300+ nose stud until the young woman not quite the age of my earlobe piercings rolled her eyes at me when I informed her I felt confident my nostril was healed and pierced long enough for said jewelry. I came in to try and get my earrings switched out after getting my earlobes pierced elsewhere and was informed I would have to let them heal and get re-pierced since the jewelry I had in didn't give my ears enough time to swell. Amara was lovely, talking me through what to do and was super nice about the whole thing. She made me feel better about what had happened with my piercing and was very helpful. However, her assistant was not. She was very curt with me (even when selecting jewelry!) and I felt ashamed to even tell her what had happened with my piercings. I have long hair that covers my ears and it takes a lot of spatial awareness to pull it away without grazing them and she kept yelling at me for touching my ears (even when adjusting my mask!!!). Whoever this was, made me feel judged and ashamed and now I'm not too sure I ever want to come back for any additional piercings. I think I might have to take my business elsewhere. Amara is 10/10 but I couldn't justify that when even days later I feel like crap about my experience. read more

Just go to literally any other piercing studio. They used to be good here but lost their consistency, transparency, and kindness with clients. For the price, you might as well go to Iris where it seems to be more professional. I first noticed they were going downhill when I went with my friend to get her nipples pierced, they were done incorrectly. The piercing done by the piercer in training was fine but the one done by the owner at the same time on the other side was horrible. Amara, who I believe is still the manager/owner, gave my friend all sorts of false treatments to try and she had to go to two doctors. Additionally, they closed early after I called to confirm their hours. I drove out of my way to go there because I used to think so highly of them. Amara tried to tell me I was wrong but the shop was empty when I showed up and did nothing to try and compensate me for my time. read more

I have had 6 piercings done by Ameowra and 5 of them have come out. 2 were placed so incorrectly they got ripped out, 2 got so badly infected they pushed themselves out, and 1 was done in such an awkward position I wasn't able to get new jewelry in when the original piece fell out. Monday, 9/19/22 I went to Elevation Arts Piercing and Tattoo shop to speak to a piercer and look at jewelry. After it was determined I was good to get my ears re-pierced, I started to look at jewelry. I was working with Cherish and had asked her if she had any real earrings and she pointed me to the case that they keep all their real jewelry in. I inquired about the pair of earrings I ultimately bought and Cherish told me immediately that pair was gold and diamonds. I than asked her for pricing and while she did looked that up, I picked out two other earrings for my other piercings. Once she had the price, I took some time to think about it. We discussed the earrings, and I asked her again if they were diamonds and she said yes. I decided to move forward with the earrings. While she was prepping me for my piercing, we spoke about how we both only purchase real jewelry now and I looked over at the earrings I was purchasing as couldn't contain my excitement, I told her how stoked I was to find the perfect diamond earrings and she agreed that they were perfect and going to look good. I even texted my boyfriend immediately after picking the earrings to tell him how excited I was to find a pair of diamond and gold earrings. Also, a warning... I do not go to piercing shops frequently, I've been pierced 3x in the last 25 years, so was NOT aware that when you checkout the tip portion is automatically applied to the entire cost of the appointment, which includes the jewelry. This was not made aware to me and I only found out after looking at my receipt. I have spoken to quite a few friends who go to other shops and they all said that the shops they've been to do not do this, they have all said the cost is based on the actual service, not the jewelry. Little sketchy (especially since I wasn't told this before tipping)... Thursday, 9/22/22 A few days later I noticed the stones in the earrings didn't appear to look like diamonds anymore and I become suspicious. Later that afternoon, I stopped by multiple jewelry stores in Cherry Creek that I've purchased jewelry from.. Both independently confirmed my suspicions, the earrings Cherish sold me as diamonds, were in fact not. I was upset and immediately went straight back to Elevation Arts to discuss this with them and request a refund. I was greeted by two women, Amara (who appeared to be a manager) and another woman. Amara immediately told me that they were not diamonds, they were Swarovski and that Cherish was mistaken in telling me they were diamonds. I explained that is fine, however I did not agree to my purchase with the understanding they were Swarovski, I agreed to the purchase as I was told they were diamonds, and I wanted my money back. She told me she would pass my information along to the owner and they would be in contact with me. Later that evening Amara texted me and we spoke briefly again about how the earrings were in fact, not diamonds. There was no helpful communication with her and at this point it became clear she was not going to be able to help me. I requested she again, have the owner contact me so we could discuss my refund. I have yet to hear from the owner, and at this point have realized I most likely will not hear from them. I decided to purchase jewelry based on the sale being diamonds, not Swarovski. I was deceived (although I do not believe Cherish knew in fact the earrings were not diamonds, and I do not believe she misled me intentionally) however, I was sold an item I did not receive and when presented with this information the shop has done absolutely nothing to make it right. I thankfully made my purchase with a credit card and called my credit card company. I opened a dispute and less than a day later they closed the case in my favor, agreeing the circumstances of the purchase represent fraud on behalf of Elevation Arts. So in the end, I got all of my money back from my credit card company, but doesn't take away the fact this shop has committed fraud. read more

I want to just preface this by saying this experience was one I don't want others to have. I came in trying to get the other side of my nose pierced, no big deal, when the girl showed me where she wanted to place the piercing I disagreed because the holes were clearly uneven (I have a very symmetrical nose with a dip on both sides where my older piercing is). I told the girl I thought it was off and that I wanted her to redo it, she completely disregarded me and gave me a totally bs reason why I should trust her and let her do the spot she chose. I regret that decision every day, she gave me the worst placing and the unevenness of the piercings is jarring now that I have two matching studs. Please don't let piercers tell you you're wrong about this stuff, even if you are, you still have a right for your opinion to be taken into consideration, it's your body (and your $$). Sadly will not be returning and will be getting the piercing redone. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!! This place was awful I wish someone would have told me how awful this place was. I got my tragus pierced here (my 16th piercing) so piercings are not anything new to me. The guy who pierced me used the same needle three times, he claimed it was bent and was fixing it. He shoved the same needle through my tragus three times not okay at all!!! Then he did not even clean my piercing afterwards. Good thing I was not new to cleaning piercings because he did not give me anything or tell me how to clean it. Three days later I had to go to urgent care to get the earring removed from my ear because I had woken up with the earring so far in my ear I could no longer see it. I came in for a tattoo as a walk in. My artist was cool and helped me create the perfect tiny tattoo for to represent my auntie pride. The artist was patient and helped me get the placement I wanted and did the best he could with my ridiculously shaky foot during some of the session. I was in and out in about an hour and a half and I enjoyed my experience and am pleased with my tattoo! Totally upset and I won't be back sadly. I've had my dermal in for a year with no issues. I got my dermal serviced and purchased a new jewelry piece for it. My jewelry fell out in a couple days.. then it was hard to contact them due to short hours and staff issues, I was finally able to schedule with them to replace it for free ( which was nice considering the situation ). When I got there I actually had to wait about 20 minutes because I was double booked. Then they didn't have the same jewelry I had recently purchased so I settled for a bigger piece. I understand my dermal sits higher on my face but there really is no excuse for it to not be properly placed to stay on. Upon paying the piercer wasn't informed about it being free of charge, making me uncomfortable as they called to confirm when I hadn't even brought my wallet. I'm sitting at dinner now only HOURS after getting my dermal fixed and it is not in my face. I would honestly like a refund but I understand they may have tried their best. Overall, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The people are nice but the prices are not worth the risk of your piercing!! ------------------ Replying to you: I actually was there 10 minutes before my appointment and someone was already there. So I waited 30 in total. This is ridiculous. I didn't touch my piercing at all. You can admit that your piercers are not qualified. ULTIMATELY I WENT HERE JUST TO WASTE MONEY! Making an appointment was a breeze, JP was incredible, worked with me to get the perfect design, everyone was friendly...i can't say enough about how awesome this place is, esp in comparison to other places I've been. Pricing was super fair (a little low for the quality IMO, they could charge more and it would be justified), the place is spotless, surgically clean (as all shops should be), JP is a treasure, hugely talented. NOT WORTH IT! it took me 2 weeks to get an appointment which isnt such a big deal but all of the people here are so rude!! nobody was friendly here and my artist didn't even talk to me throughout the tattoo. he seemed annoyed that i wanted the stencil re positioned once for me and my friend. he didn't even give my friend a care sheet for her first tattoo! my tatt is now starting to scab (which has never happened with my 7 other tattoos from my usual artist) and it looks like he went too hard on the linework. tattoo is shaky and the flower is fucked up and i'm going to go have to get it hella touched up by my guy once it's healed. i'm pissed and will not be returning and i'll make sure all my friends know not to go to this place unless they want to be treated rudely and get a shitty tattoo. read more

I went into get a nostril and helix piercing and my mom got a tragus piercing. Vanessa was our piercer. She was so nice helped us pick out jewelry and was just extremely nice the whole time. The entire place was very clean and nice looking. Our piercer did an amazing job walked up through the whole thing. She made white that we were comfortable and liked everything that she was doing. We came in to look at jewelry and had previously spoken to someone on the phone, when we got there the girl that helped us over the phone came out to help again, but there was someone behind the counter that was EXTREMELY nasty to whoever was helping us for not telling us we needed an appointment. Instead of embarrassing one of your coworkers in front of a bunch of customers it would have been significantly more professional to have just told us that we had to wait and pull your coworker aside after. Honestly was very disappointed with this shop. I came in today to see if they could help me see if my septum piercing hole was closed since it fell out a few days ago. The lady there was super rude and unhelpful with the pricing that would differentiate between checking the hole, buying the jewelry and piercing it again. Then the guy who pierced it tried to say the taper wasn't going through all the way and my friend was looking dead at it, and the taper had gone all the way through meaning it was still open. So he tried to scam me into paying for a piercing/ jewelry, instead of just the 10 dollar customer service fee for checking the whole & the 25 dollar ring. She called him out and we only paid what we should've. Never going back there again. Was entirely very surprised at the high rating reviews cuz they were the most unfriendly workers I've met at a shop. Also the ring is too small and is hurting my nose terribly. :( read more

Jen is really informative and she genuinely cares about helping you. I had a bad piercing and nickel allergy that still hadn't healed after 6 months and still had a piercing bump. She spent time with me ordering custom nickel-free jewelry, which I absolutely love! Zuni is a great piercer and so far (2 weeks out) no piercing bump or other challenges. Only bummer is I was quoted 6 weeks for the jewelry to come in. I'm not sure if it was a delay in ordering or manufacturing but it took 10 weeks for it to finally come in. I called to check on it after the 6 weeks and whomever answered seemed annoyed that I was checking on it when I hadn't heard anything. I was told it would be another 4-6 weeks. I don't mind waiting but if there was a delay I should have been notified so that I'm not left wondering about the delay. read more

They are clearly professional and take their work seriously, which is a good thing and what you'd expect of a tattoo/piercing place. Having that said, I walked in because I wanted to replace my silver nose ring with a dainty gold hoop. They didn't have the right size in gold, so they promised the steel one would go through a process and "look exactly" like the gold one. Well, it doesn't. It's much darker, like a dark bronze color. I wanted dainty and the end result was kinda biker chick aggressive. Of course I could only see it wasn't what I wanted after it was on me. When I voiced my frustration, I heard repeatedly "well, once it's on you, you have to pay, there's nothing we can do". Seriously, I think I heard that 4 times and I never considered or even suggested not paying. Turns out there is something you can do. You can perhaps offer a discount for me to come back and get a different one? Offer to waive the $15 fee for putting the jewelry in next time. I was super sad to see it didn't look anything like I wanted and I created no problem, wasn't rude or anything. I even helped them out when a rude customer walked in prior to my jewelry change. I was a sad customer and all I got was "there's nothing we can do" or "sorry you're upset but let me take your card". Well, for the next time, do show the customer the difference in color, explain a little more about the final look. There is always something you can do. #superdisappointed read more
