I cannot say enough good things about this place. Nick did my tattoo and made the process so easy and memorable. I really feel like he actually cared about it and didn't see it as just another tattoo on another person. He took his time helping me design my vision and gave great advice and suggestions when I asked. I never felt he rushed any of it. It turned out even better than I could've imagined. This tattoo is in honor of my grandmother that unexpectedly passed, so it was going to be the most important tattoo I'd ever get. If you want a person that is going to listen to you and also genuinely care about you and the work they do, Nick is the guy! He's fabulous with colors. My daughters and I popped in to this wonderful establishment on a Tuesday afternoon while on vacation. We were ever-so-lucky to have Kevin there to work on us as walk-ins. I was very impressed with the store, and I even met the owner who seemed super chill. I greatly appreciated Kevin's close attention to every detail. One thing I look for in tattoo shops/tattooers is positive energy and comfortability as well as good vibes in general and Cres was very positive and personable and made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I feel like it's really important to get tattooed by someone who you feel positive energy from due to it's permanence. I hate the fact I'm not a Denver native because I found the perfect shop/artist. Engel was AMAZING. Yes that is my knee but he was so gentle. It was a 6/10 pain wise and being a tattoo veteran, some of the pain is caused by the artist. It could have been so much worse but it wasn't. This is my new favorite. Some tattoo artists just show their huge pieces but no examples of their more subtle work (the kind of tattoos I wanted). I scheduled an app with her, we worked through my idea. I loved how she thought it through! She elevated it so much! I love it so much more than what I originally came up with. We reached out the UE online and got a response very quickly. We worked with Kyle! He did a fantastic job. My review is for Jacob. He's a super nice lovable person, however, his professionalism is highly lacking and my time was thoroughly wasted. I messaged Jacob via email and instagram (since i wasn't sure of preferred method of communication) March 20th. We set up a consultation for the next day, March 21st, however that didn't happen due to me oversleeping. I called immediately, same day, to apologize and we then decided that i can text over my ideas. I do this and i don't hear back from him until March 29th. We talk back and forth for a few minutes on the 29th, then he asks when I'm looking to start the design. I told him in May and then he's a ghost. I was hoping between then we could discuss more of the design, but he had different ideas and I don't hear back from him until May 11th! I was then offered an opportunity to come in May 31st. Fine, okay, I'll wait. May 31st comes around, and I'm not in love with the design he had created. (Yea obviously, we never really discussed it.) I let him free-hand on my arm for a little and nothing comes of it. Jacob just spewed out more ideas of what could go on my arm. This appointment turns into a consultation. He told him to give him until June 5th, and i agree. After the consultation I send over a bunch of imagery that could help with his design and mine, so they can come together. I hear nothing back from him. Today, June 3rd, Jacob has decided he is not the artist for this project..... This must be some kind of sick joke. Thank you for the $15 sushi, but that does not come close to the two months I could've spent looking for a more dedicated artist. I DO NOT recommend Jacob as an artist. read more

The neighborhood the shop is located in is super funky with unique shops, studios and architecture. I researched around Denver looking for a good cover up tattoo artist. After looking at Rowell's portfolio, I was hooked! I have a few words on my back that I needed covered up and explained my idea to him. First of all, book in advance because I had to wait almost 4 months for an appointment, he's a busy guy! Secondly, I put a lot of trust into his abilities to give me what I was looking for and it turned out amazing! Not the best at answering emails and I got a preview of my tattoo the night before my appointment. Just a few tiny touch ups though and it was ready to go! It took about 2.5 hours and although it's my third tattoo, it was much longer than my previous 2. He was great while the tattoo was getting down and I was ecstatic when it was over!
