She gave me time to look through all of the options and helped whenever I needed. I explained some issues I've had with buying crappy jewelry in the past and she didn't shame me about it, but instead offered advice on how to keep my piercings healthy while not using the greatest quality jewelry until i'm able to upgrade it to better stuff in the future. While the jewelry is expensive, the quality is amazing and the pieces are beautiful. If you're going to buy real gold pieces that are going to last, you'll have to know it's going to be a bit more pricey. Regardless of this, Nina never made me feel pressured to buy anything and made me feel so comfortable the entire process. The staff was incredibly accommodating and patient, which made the experience much smoother than we had anticipated. The location is conveniently situated in Cherry Creek North, but be prepared for potential parking issues. However, our overall experience was fantastic from the moment we walked in. They have a nice selection of earrings for the piercing devices, and they don't recommend or perform needle piercings for babies. The pricing was competitive, and the staff, including the nurse, was very patient and kind. The aftercare instructions were easy to follow, and we're keeping our daughter's ears clean, and they're healing wonderfully. One thing to note for parents considering getting their baby's ears pierced is that there's some aftercare involved to ensure proper healing. Today I went into buy earrings and I feel like I was totally ripped off. I told the sales associate that I was looking for something that wouldn't tarnish and that had a flat back. She led me to a glass box on the island in the middle of the store. I picked out two studs from the glass container. It was my understanding that these are the earrings that people pick out when they want their ears pierced. Before she went and grabbed the studs and the flat backs, she said they were nonrefundable. I said that was fine. In my mind, nonrefundable means when you buy the item, you can't return it. In this case, what nonrefundable meant was the minute she had opened package the earrings came in, I couldn't change my mind. I don't know why she couldn't just place them in another package. At any jewelry store when you ask the sales associate to take something out of the container, that doesn't mean you are tied to buying that item. What was annoying to me was the backings. For two backings, it was $108. I feel like for that price you need to tell the customer what they're getting into. I did not realize that the backing and the earring were sold separately. Totally a rip off. I walked out of there spending $244 on two studs and two flat backs. I guess I had picked earrings that only one specific backing would fit on? I wish the sales associate had offered me more options or at least told me that each backing was going to be $54 each....... Since she had already opened the package the earrings came inside , I had to make the purchase. I decided to put the earrings on in the store. The earrings and the backings are the size of a small ant and when I asked for her help, she said she could not help me because "she wasn't a nurse." Furthermore, when I asked if there was a device that could help grab the earring and place it in my ear that I could use, she said she could not allow me to use it. Overall, the earrings are cute and I don't think they'll tarnish (they shouldn't for freaking $300 ) but I wouldn't buy jewelry from here. The backings and the earrings are two separate prices and it's kind of a rip off

I have become a frequent flyer at Urban Element since Jordan got there. Over the last year she has done 8 beautiful pieces on me! We are currently planning a 9th piece, an addition to an arm she has done almost entirely herself except for one small piece I had done when I was 18. Every piece I've ever done with her has been an amazing and great process. She leaves a lot of decision up to you, but is a professional and the expert and will always give you advice about the best details, placement, and size to make sure your tattoo stays beautiful for the long term! We have a very similar vision so I know when I leave an idea in her hands with some reference and discussion, I will get a dream piece! She will send you the design the day before to look over and make sure you like it, and will take any feedback, questions, and ideas to make sure it is ready to go for your session. She is so knowledgeable and professional, I have put a lot of trust in her and never been disappointed! I tell friends and strangers alike to see her when they complement all of the art she has done for me, which is frequently, if not almost daily! She is incredibly talented and one look at her Instagram and her portfolio is enough to see her style, her skill, and how much time and effort she puts into her art. She specializes in black and grey art and is very upfront with that, so if you're wanting a full color piece it may not be the right fit, but everyone else I've interacted with at the shop is so nice and so talented I am sure you'll find someone there for any vision you have!! She has a great relationship with her clients, a referrals program, even little goodie bags given at her appointment's full of little fun things for her clients. She cares about them, and that's why she sees them back so much! I can't wait for the 9th one she's doing for me!! Jordans work speaks for itself so if you don't believe me go look at her stuff and get on her books! I promise she will make any work she does for you the best it can be! read more

AMAZING VIBES getting very first tattoo at urban element!!! my cousins and I went to a different shop before going to Urban Element and we realized that first shop didn't past the vibe check, especially it being our first time, we wanted to at least be at ease and comfortable, Urban Element exceeded that and more. Following the passing of my parents, I decided to finally move forward with the piece. After extensive research, I chose William at Mammoth American Tattoo. From my initial email to the consultation, the experience has been excellent. When I arrived at the shop, the staff was incredibly welcoming. William spent nearly an hour discussing the design and my requested changes with me. He provided great insights into color theory, explaining what would and wouldn't work to ensure the best result. I returned today to begin the tattoo, and both William and Ripley were fantastic. I am very happy with the linework completed during this first session. William also took the time to thoroughly explain the aftercare process. I will continue to share updates as we complete the piece, but I highly recommend William and Mammoth American Tattoo to anyone looking for a professional and welcoming shop.
