Cannot say enough good things about this place. They are clean, efficient, and extremely talented artists. I've been tattooed here twice now- once by Matt S and the other time by Genevieve. Both were incredible to work with, extremely detailed, thorough and clean. I was tattooed most recently by Genevieve during their Valentines flash day and cannot say enough how happy I am with the work she did. I will definitely be going back to her for my fine line work! Matt did another piece of mine, and I was shocked at how quickly he was able to tattoo the size piece I got with it looking perfect (and with 0 pain ) I cannot wait to go back to him as well for a more detailed piece! Matt also did a friends' tattoo while she was visiting and she loved his work. This will be my regular tattoo shop moving forward! read more

Got a tat by Zane, however if you look just under the H in the picture there is a scar he left me with. Never have I been cut from SHAVING by an artist until Zane, He kept shaving in the same spot as he was looking away talking to another artist and making my cut deeper, giving me this scar I get to look at now. Once he saw I was bleeding he then blamed me for "holding my hand wrong" when I was sitting still on how HE positioned my hand to shave. Thank god it's only a small tattoo. read more

Our tattoo artist was Zane. Arguably the worst tattoo artist I've ever had, probably the worst professional experience I've ever had. The stencil was completely off multiple times, the lines were crooked, the tattoo didn't even follow the lines or shape of the stencil. When I went to explain it instead of admitting that it was messed up, he defended his work (if you can call it that) and then started insulting other tattoos on my body... He then cussed me out and told me to get out, and then flipped me off. So yeah that was my experience at this tattoo shop. read more

One of the tattoo artists was so extremely rude to me and my family when we came in to get matching tattoos. We called ahead and told them the amount and people and that we had a little bit of a time restrain (3 hours) and then said they could absolutely take us we just had to be in at open. We get there right at open and he is extremely to my mom, saying that I never told him the amount of people or that I had a time restraint. Would not recommend anyone going to this tattoo artist, I left in tears I was so hurt. I understand if you couldn't make it work, even when we were standing there, but to be so rude about everything is simply bad customer service! read more

Walked in and asked if they were taking walk-ins for flash, and was immediately looked up and down and given a very blunt, "yeah." The vibe was off and ended up walking out because the person up front was rude and I didn't feel like I could ask questions. Needless to say I was really disappointed as there was a lot of cool art in the books. A little more customer service and less unnecessary attitude and I would have gotten something. read more

My wife and I visited a friend in Denver for the weekend for my 30th and got an impromptu group tattoo. We read a bunch of reviews to different places and Larimer came up a few times and we also got a recommendation to go there as well. We walked in, talked with the friendly staff for a few minutes and showed them a few photos of what we wanted but we all wanted to customize ours a bit. They drew them up and we were taken right away and done at the same time with different artists. We were in and out in an hour and a half! I went in for a bull with a rose in its month on my hip nothing to big something cute of course. I arrived an hour before closing they said they were able to take me literally so accommodating and so welcoming . While I waited I got a little tour and I knew there was a reason why the vibe were so immaculate in this place, it used to be a old brothel! Another piece of well preserved history in Denver lol. Anyway I got a private room and the station was neat, clean and very sterile. my artist finished my tattoo pretty fast it was painless and it came out so cute! the lines are nice and crisp he had a very steady hand and paid attention to detail. The aftercare really shows how professional and sterile a tattoo shop is and this one blew me out of the water. Not only do I recommend this shop because the artist are Chill and professional, the environment is clean and neat, but the price point is incomparable to any other shop in downtown they have a 75$ shop minimum for top tier quality art. For example my coworker just spent + 200$ for a matching finger tattoo with his girlfriend and the tattoo looks shitty healed I feel bad for him I wish I told him about old Larimer st lol read more

Full service parlor offering tattoos and piercings. Clean, comfy and amazing artwork abounds the walls. My personal experience was with Adam for a septum change/gauging and also a spontaneous labret piercing. He was a true professional and chill. My next experience was a day later with Noel for an inner bicep tattoo. He created a custom piece for me. He is light-handed with the tattoo gun, courteous and cares about his client's comfort. I absolutely love my piece, and I am going to continue with Noel to full sleeve me and work on other previous art that I have that needs some adjustments. read more

So impressed! My friend and I decided to get tattooed on a whim on a Friday afternoon and we were ale to get in right away. All I knew was the text and location that I wanted for my new ink, no font or anything. The artist (Henry) drew me up a gorgeous custom font (all I told him was "make it metal"), and it was better than anything I could have imagined. And for an outer hand tattoo, he made it as quick and painless as possible, and he was easy to chat with. My friend also got tattooed with me that day, and he asked for a solid black skull. The artist found a few examples for him to choose from to get an idea on he style and then drew up a custom version from there. The final work was amazing! I'd highly recommend coming here. The shop minimum ($75) is a little higher than most other places I've been to, but, as everyone knows, good tattoos aren't cheap, and cheap tattoos aren't good! In addition to the friendly and talented staff, this place is worth checking out just for the décor! It's a really neat little shop with tall ceilings and killer artwork all over the walls. They also have a nice display case of jewelry to choose from if you go the piercing route instead. I'll certainly be coming here for more ink the next time I am in Denver. read more

The shop loved the idea, and were super welcoming to us, even giving us a tour of the cool basement and letting my stepson play with his toys in the waiting area. I recently got an amazing piece done by Jordan at Old Larimer. I made an appointment a few weeks prior and she absolutely killed the design. Aside from being a great artist, she made sure I was as comfortable as possible the whole time and was very upfront about how much it would cost and what could/could not be done. It was a pretty long session so she let me take breaks when I needed it. I will ABSOLUTELY be back, and I highly recommend this studio and especially Jordan. I only have a few tattoos, and usually the ones I have some type of significance. When my grandpa passed a few years ago, I knew I wanted to get something to honor him. He taught me how to drive, owned over 100 cars, and loved driving more than anything, so I figured a car would be a great way to memorialize him. Matty was the artist to bring my idea to life. He designed a mid to late 60's mustang with florals and a silhouette of my grandpa in the driver's seat. I was in love with the design as soon as he unveiled it. Based on the placement I wanted the piece on my arm I had to lay down in an awkward position, but Matty worked quickly and tattooed delicately. I couldn't be any happier with the finished product! As far as the shop is concerned, everyone was super polite. It can be intimidating walking into a tattoo shop, and you can tell they cultivated an environment for all here. I would get tattooed by Matty any day and will recommend Dedication to anyone I know looking for some new ink!

Damnit Joe.. Ok its my fault completely.. But you are still one tuff sob to tie down for an appointment.. I feel bad because I still have an outstanding debt of 150$, but you did cancel 2 appointments in a row, and the rest of your staff are amazing and would do fine to finish.. But u started it, so u can finish it.. Why 5 stars?? Because the work these artist.. Not just tattoo artists, do is phenomenal.. And mr Joe miller does some of the most amazing color of any work I've ever witnessed, hats off to you folks.. Now do I get a discount for a positive yelp or what.. read more

I had an amazing experience at larimer tattoo shop. Zane did an incredible job on my tattoo--the line work on my flowers in red ink is absolutely stunning. Their attention to detail, precision, and steady hand made the design come out even better than I imagined. The shop itself was clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. Everyone was friendly and professional, making the whole process smooth and comfortable. I couldn't be happier with my tattoo, and I'll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend! read more

Real Gone is not the type of shop where you pick a piece of flash off the wall and they ink it into your skin. My experience was that this is a collective of real artists who want to make beautiful pieces on your skin. During our initial meeting, he was kind, attentive, and we spent close to an hour discussing my vision, which made me feel confident moving forward. Unfortunately, my experience the day of the tattoo was very different. The tone felt noticeably less welcoming, and I felt uncomfortable at several points. When I asked for small adjustments to the design, the response came across as frustrated rather than collaborative, which made the process more difficult than expected. During the tattoo session, there were moments where phone use occurred while gloves were on. This stood out to me and contributed to my overall discomfort with the experience. Within 24 hours of the appointment, I experienced symptoms that required medical attention and was treated for an infection. While I cannot definitively determine the cause, this added to my concerns about the overall experience. Now that the tattoo has healed, there are also aspects of the linework that I'm not fully satisfied with. For a service at this price point (around $1,000), I expected a higher level of professionalism, communication, and care throughout the process. I'm sharing this to encourage others to thoroughly evaluate fit and comfort before committing, especially for a permanent piece. Edited to add: his messages calling me dirty and obese to other potential clients when confronted about this. This man is trying to pressure me to remove my review as well.
