I haven't tried many Thai places in the area, but this place is pretty delicious. The prices are reasonable and the portions are decent. We got the Bangkok Friend rice, Pad Thai, which was very flavorful and the Pad see ew. The portion for the pad see ew seemed smaller than the other dishes and the noodles for the pad see ew weren't as fat as other places I've been to, (but then again, pad see ew isn't my favorite dish so since I don't usually get it, it may just be that I don't remember what pad see ew is supposed to be like). They were very generous with the chicken for the pad thai and the pieces of shrimp for the fried rice were jumbo shrimp (not weeny sized shrimp). My only complaint was that the waitress offered to give us extra sauce on the side (for our pad thai, and other dishes) but then we were charged for each side of extra sauce. This is a review for take out. I'm in the area from business and decided to order and take it to my hotel room. I ordered a salad, soup and appetizer to Try a little of everything. I had the fried tofu, which was a huge portion and the peaunut and cilantro dipping sauce is out of this world. Next, was the cucumber and carrot salad, I ordered a large which was a little over $3. The salad was sweet, fresh and delicious. Next was a chicken, mushroom cocunut soup. Amazing! See pic for all the ingredients. I would recommend this place to anyone. So, staying at a nearby hotel and wanted something other than burgers, steak, salad, and sandwiches. Walked over to this little gem of a restaurant on a Wednesday evening. It was super busy and crowded. Started off with the E-san sausage as an appetizer. This sausage was amazing! Since this sausage is fermented for days before being cooked, it has a slight sour-y taste, which made all the difference in the world. Wow! I honestly can't wait to eat this sausage again. For entrees, my wife ordered the Pad Woonsen, and she ordered it Thai spicy. It's basically a pad thai without the peanuts and the peanut sauce. Despite it being super spicy, it was tasty. I kept stealing a big forkful of noodles from her plate every chance I got. I ordered the Pad Kra Prow thai style with minced beef. This was ridiculously good! Their "spicy" spice level is quite spicy! Although my lips were on fire, I couldn't stop eating it. It was just that good! We finished off the excellent meal with a Thai custard, which didn't look that appetizing but was absolutely delicious. So delicate and just a hint of sweetness. All in all, it was a fantastic meal! People were constantly coming in the door and the wait staff was running around the entire time we were there. I can't wait to go back. The food is so freaking good! read more

I had a decent meal and time at Bangkok Kitchen. I went because it was recommended to me by some friends who claimed it would remind me of the great West coast Asiab cuisine. I'm not the biggest Thai fan, so I'm not the most accurate person to say whether it is worthy or not. But I do love Asian cuisine regardless! I had some Pad Khing which is definetly for those of us who enjoy the greatness of ginger. I ordered the chicken style, with mild spice. The restaurant allows you to choose who spicy you want your dishes, or without spice at all. The portions are extremely generous, enough to the point that you can order one entree for two. If you are not very hungry, I'd recommend sharing. The Thai tea with cream was okay, very sweet, but not my favorite refreshment. The others with me ordered Hawaiian Fried Rice, Fried Tofu, and Thai noodles with shrimp. All the dishes were above average, but I didn't feel anything special about them. I dislike tofu, so can't judge that too well. I will say that the Wonton soup and Pad Tom soup (the latter might not be that name, I forget, but it is one of the traditional soups). The soups were very good, and even the cup was a very pleasant size. I did not partake in the alcohol this night, as that would come alter post debates comedy... But the bar was very expansive. You coukd get drinks from the variety if Sake, Tequila, Rum, beer, and much more. There is adequate seating, two tables for parties 5 or more, and the staff is very kind. The bathrooms are singles and are okay, not the cleanest. Nothing automatic touch less. All in all, it is a very decent restaurant if you enjoy Thai, but for me there was nothing extraordinary out of it. But it is better than most so called Asian restaurant you see. read more

I've been here a couple of times and while it's not a standout Thai place, it is one of the only places that delivers (through Eatstreet) in Toledo that isn't a pizza joint and that's important to me (I'm pretty much a hermit..) The pad Thai is pretty good, I didn't think the drunken noodles tasted authentic at all though, and this "Chu Chee" dish I tried (supposedly fried chicken tossed in red curry) was not at all what was expected and not tasty imo, just a jarring spicey flavor. Worst of all was the hot and sour soup ... very sour and sickly sweet too. I'm not sure what the flavors were but it honestly felt like I was drinking vomit. I would stay away from their stir fry dishes, DEF stay away from that hot and sour soup, and I have yet to try the curries but I'm never in the mood for that anyways. Noodles and desperation for delivery food will be the main reason I order here. Also, the food is surprisingly spicy. Medium feels like a hot. Maybe I'm just getting weaker with spice as I age but a medium spice dish will leave my stomach in severe distress afterwards, so I'll definitely stick with mild from now on. We were very disappointed to find there was no indoor dining. It looks as though the dining area is being used for storage. The chairs were all stacked up and everything pushed to sides of room. Have head wonderful things about the food here so we placed an order and waited for it. They were very busy with takeout orders. It didn't really take that long maybe 20 min or so. It did not disappoint! Food was excellent. We live in Sylvania area so of course we had to reheat at home. I hope they bring back indoor dining. From out of town but decided to give this place a shot for take out; being a lover of thai food. However, our experience was not necessarily impressive or my expectations were too high based on the other reviews and how packed it was when we ordered. In short, the only item that I would get again are the drunken noodles. 1. We had a spaghetti thai dish that had good Thai basil flavor but nothing that urged me to eat more. Not good or bad. 2. Seafood wontons (crab ragoon) were good enough to finish off but you could get the same, maybe even better, quality at your typical Chinese fast food take out. 3. Chive dumplings - I hate to waste food but I could not eat more than a bite. I've had much better versions at dim sum restaurants but the dough here was much too soft and the sides were not fried enough to gain any texture. The whole thing essentially became a mush ball with Chive flavor which to me was an instant turn off. It seemed like they were fried in oil that was not hot enough because 3 of the 5 were falling apart and drenched in oil. Beyond that, we requested to replace all broccoli with Chinese broccoli because regular broccoli is always a no-no in asian cooking. Even the boxes were labeled "sub c/ broccoli" but we opened 2 boxes of noodles with no Chinese broccoli, only regular broccoli. Also, the employee that gave us our food stated that chopsticks and utensils were in the appetizer bag. Unfortunately, once we settled at our hotel, we discovered that this was not the case in either bag and had to ask the front desk for silverware instead. Now, the drunken noodles are a different story and I would recommend it if you eat here but keep in mind that these are in no way authentic. Despite it still only containing regular broccoli, the noodles were wide and chewy and had a good wok flavor. Hit the spot in terms of a stir fried noodle dish and the Thai basil really made these noodles even more addicting for me. None of the ingredients were over cooked or mushy with this one. I think this place is more of a "depends on what you order place" but drunken noodles and Thai tea get a thumbs up from me, but the other items we ordered couldn't even compare. read more

Amazing. I suggested this place because of the reviews here. Everyone at our table loved it. Came in Friday night to a full house. There was alot of people getting takeout orders too. I got the glass noodles. They are very thin clear noodles with a unique texture. So good. The hot and sour soup wasn't spicy but the flavor was great. We were living for the spring rolls! I told our waitress we'd split a green papaya salad among the table and she brought it out for us before the meal along with our spring rolls.
