Arrived at Bankok kitchen 5 min after they opened and was told 45 min so we are going to give this a try.

The 1st time I ate here I wasn't sure. It was OK but kind of greasy. It got the job done. I have eaten here a few more times and can give it a solid 4 stars. It's pretty good! Definitely holds up to the other places in town. It isn't my favorite Thai place but I am not disappointed when we eat here. Their take out is always fast and hot!

I was in town visiting a friend and we decided to enjoy some Thai for lunch. This place was not busy at all on a Friday around noon. I think maybe 1-2 people showed up while we were enjoying our meals. We looked over the menu and I decided on green seafood curry made Thai spicy. The menu is quite huge and tons of options to choose from which was a pleasant surprise. I think anyone would be able to eat her to satisfy their Thai cravings. The service was quite fast which was nice. My meal on my spice scale was more of 2-3 out of a 5. However if you look at my past review of other Thai places around the world you will see my spice palate is crazy. It takes a lot for me to think anything is spicy. I enjoyed the variety and the amount of seafood in my curry. Overall a decent spot in toledo for Thai food. Enjoy!

We came here for dine-in late lunch. No customer inside the restaurant. The only person there is a lady who is the counter person / cook / server maybe the owner? As we arrived. She pointed right away that she only have disposable to go box and cutleries. She don't even welcome us and let us sit first or offered us a water to drink. Then she handed the menu to us. As we reviewing the menu, she keeps on coming back to us to say there is no chicken wings, beef if we want to order those. We were told that their price had increased , she showed the printed out notice attached in the menu. As we reviewing the menu at the same time while reading one of the review on Yelp with regards how much they cost eating there and a few customers disappointments about the place. My husband asked a questions to the lady and verify how much the increased should be. She said about $2-$3 per food order. We were surprised that amount is high for an increase. After she answered our questions, she offered daringly "If you want I will not continue cooking and you can leave". What a relief and we gladly took the offer and left. She keeps on talking back to us but we say Thank You. We can't believe the rude / bad customer service in a restaurant we had experienced. Normally, we don't write a not so good review, But in this case, there is always a first time --- So we suggest, if you want to experience not so good restaurant, to try this place on your own so you can see what we mean. To me, I do not recommend this place! So definitely, will not go back! Again, we were very Disappointed!

It should be illegal to be this tasty. This place doesn't look impressive on the outside, but it really lives up to it's name. Always worth the drive and the guy who takes our orders is really nice.

Hands down the BEST Thai food I've had. Tasty Thai is better than any Thai restaurant I've eaten at in Southwest Michigan and San Francisco, CA. My father and I have eaten at this establishment 3 out of the 4 days we've been in Toledo so far. Their Pad Thai is off the chain, however tonight I ordered the Garlic Duck and to my delight the duck was deboned and ready to eat. The garlic sauce & the crispiness of the duck with the broccoli was delicious!!! The best Duck I've had at a Thai restaurant to date! I also recommend their tempura calamari. Light, flavorful and on point! Don't forget the large Thai Ice Tea, to complete the ribbon on the package! I will eat here the next time I'm in town. My only regret is Tasty Thai is not in SF Bay Area. Pictured is the Garlic Duck.

Tonight was our lucky night as we were seated within minutes of our arrival. QQ Kitchen is very unassuming upon entry. Small sitting area that was filled with people waiting for their take-out orders. The dining area is small and decor is simple. There is one TV monitor and tonight, "Triple D" (Diners, Drive-Ins, Dives) was on. How appropriate, huh? Menu has a lot to offer making it challenging to arrive at a snap decision. Many great choices. We started off with Spring Rolls. Very refreshing taste and the peanut dipping sauce was quite tasty. Our dinner selections: Drunken Noodles; and Pad Thai w Shrimp. Both these dishes were excellent and very fairly priced for the food quality and portion size. A great deal of foot traffic for take-out orders during the entire time we were in the restaurant. Good sign. We had a fantastic meal and we will definitely be back yo visit QQ Kitchen. Well done!

Even if I described to you exactly where it is, you wouldn't be able to place it. It's just completely out of the way, and even if you lived close by, it's so unassumingly dimly lit, that it just looks closed. So much so, that our first visit after a 12-year break, almost had us driving off. While the 'OPEN' sign was on, the dining room was completely empty at 7 p.m. on a Saturday. But thankfully as we sat in the car looking at the hours on our phone, the young man who does double duty as the adjacent store clerk, as well as waiter popped out to let us know it was safe to come in. The food is unassuming, totally homemade in the best and worst way possible, and everything is very specific to this family. The flavor profiles of ALL dishes are perfectly balanced, and while some meats are severely overcooked, that's probably for the best. Will it take us 12 years to return? Likely not, as popping in last night has put it back on our radar. But even still, due to the totally bizarre location, it's going to take some effort to make it back. But we will if for no other reason, to grab another bowl of that absolutely divine tom yum soup.

It's great and it's open on Sundays." Of course, I couldn't find it anywhere online. Was she talking about QQ? Or the place that opened up where Darla's Thai Pan used to be? Well, both of these places are closed on Sunday, so we kept driving, and wow, yes, there really is a restaurant, just called "Asian Cuisine" in this strip mall. It's actually quite large; apparently it used to be the location of China Crown Buffet at some point. Anyhow, the ambiance is kind of flat. Lots of green vinyl booths. You can tell it used to be a buffet restaurant. But that is pretty much the only negative. When we came, there were several families and large parties, most of whom were Chinese. A good sign for a Chinese restaurant. The menu is pretty big, with lots of Thai and Chinese favorites. We ordered a steamed tofu dish, a seafood entrée, and a whole roast duck. Where can you get a whole roast duck these days without ordering a day ahead? Here apparently! And it is delicious, as was all of our food. Prices were quite reasonable (something like $22-24 for the duck, $9 for the steamed tofu with your choice of sauce, and about the same for the seafood stir fry dish). The hot-and-sour soup was immensely flavorful, smoky in a way, and only $1.99 for a small. Service was the friendliest I've ever had at a Chinese restaurant. Friendly waitress, prompt drink refills. If this were SF or NYC, I'd say 4-stars, but for Toledo, this place is an absolute gem. This will be my go-to source for Chinese from now on. I can't wait to try the Thai, as if it is as good as the Chinese, it will save me the drive to Maumee (for Bangkok Kitchen).

The atmosphere is beautiful. Somewhere between cozy and classy for a wonderful, calm dining experience. Dining in Roi Et feels like coming home. Service always given with a smile, and the staff is incredibly friendly. My waitress was attentive and even helpful with recommendations as I myself am a little bit of an adventurous eater. Food comes out piping hot and prompt to order. The menu is thoughtfully arranged, digestible, and gives the customer a good grasp of what they're getting. I have had the Kar Pao Beef at medium heat (brave for me. Painful, but delicious!) Fried rice, Shrimp puffs (they're my my favorite appetizer. Delicious and with an incredibly satisfying crunch tucked into a little perfect triangle package. SO GOOD!!) The rice is always perfectly cooked. A little bit sticky and fluffy at the same time. Its fantastic. I want to know their secret. This visit I had the Massaman Curry. Mostly sweet profile with the very very slightest hint of spice at the back end. Plenty of broth with chunky veggies, perfectly cooked through and still firm to tooth in a way I find very pleasant! I dug in too quickly to get a good picture. Maybe next time! I also tried the Thai iced tea for the first time. An absolute hit. Portion sizes are generous. You absolutely get what you pay for. My only complaint is that I cant eat more in one sitting. Hands down one of my favorite places to go for a taste of southeast Asia.
