Best Chinese food in the area! Food is always very fresh and delicious. Restaurant is very clean and owners are friendly. I would 100% recommend.

Great old school Chinese food. Lunch specials are quite cheap for the amount of food you get. It's a nice family operated business. The server was friendly and attentive. We got sweet and sour chicken, orange chicken and pork with sliced vegetables. Each meal had options of type of rice, 3 choices of soup and either egg roll or 2 crab Rangoon. All prepared quickly and served steaming hot. Very very good!!

In South Toledo at the corner of Rugby and S Detroit, lies the family owned and operated SOD. (Drive south on Rugby from Glanzman...one way street). MEAT AND POTATOES: The sandwiches are awesome. AWESOME I SAID! Although the secret ingredient may actually be love, these sammies seem to be crafted with the freshest and tastiest ingredients known to man. I'm serious. Expensive they are, but that's ok, because each sandwich (and "free" bag of chips) will probably come pretty close to filling you up. With that in mind, 14 bucks for an excellent MEAL doesn't sound so bad. To be honest, the Greek salad is not the best in town...but Greek salad isn't really the focus of a place like this, now is it. The atmosphere is friendly, comfortable, and clean. It's not fancy...it's a deli, after all. Order and pay at the counter, receive your meal, then either sit down and eat, or carry out. The people taking care of you are the owner and her kids. They're very friendly...and fast...and efficient. I must say, I'm really surprised there are (relatively) few reviews for Smokin' Olive Deli. If this place were in downtown Sylvania or downtown Perrysburg, or even in Cricket West, I'll bet there would be 100+ five star reviews! But since that's not the case, I'd whole hearted recommend that you truck on down to SoTol and show some love to SOD...in return, they'll show some serious love to your taste buds! 5 STARS!

Then the food hits, and you realize: oh, this is a destination. The space is tiny--tiny. Every time the front door swings open, a blast of outside air rushes in like it's trying to join the waitlist. Seating is scarce, but the whole system works: packed room, fast service, no panic. A strange harmony. Everything feels made with intention. Drinks were built one ingredient at a time, syrups clearly homemade. My black garlic ramen was absurdly good: deep, rich broth, perfect pork chashu that I'd happily eat by the pound, fried garlic that hit just right. The Taiwanese popcorn chicken? Unreal. A whole meal disguised as an appetizer. My wife doesn't like dark meat--fantastic news for me. I inhaled the entire plate like it was my birthright. Service was warm, calm, human--no chaos, no weirdness, just a kitchen pushing out nonstop greatness. We'll be back, no question. For my taste buds, this is some of the best ramen in Northwest Ohio. Iv'e been a number of times in the past and always recommend trying their Pub Dip *chefs kiss* This visit, my husband and I stopped in for a lunch as we were passing through the area. I had to order their Meatball Pizza as it's a favorite of mine! The fresh Ricotta and Meatball chunks play nicely off each other. They make their ranch in house so I also always order a side of it to dip my pizza in. My husband got the Melty Mozzarella Sandwich after hearing their soup of the day was tomato bisque. I liked that the sandwich came with more elements than just bread and cheese to freshen it up. Overall, this is a prime spot to visit when in Perrysburg! I originally stopped in thinking this might be more of a coffee shop so I could grab a snack and coffee while pumping gas--kill two birds with one stone. From the outside--and even inside--it's aesthetically appealing and looks like a great spot. But the experience didn't quite match that first impression. The food itself didn't hit the mark in the taste factor--nothing terrible, just not memorable or worth the price in my opinion. That said, I'm open to trying other menu items because maybe I just didn't order the right thing. Customer service was pretty average--nothing to complain about, but nothing that stood out either. Overall, it didn't hit the mark this time, but I'd consider giving it another shot.

Been here recently/last year three times, which has a refreshed look compared to the past. They have a variety of options with hot deli style sandwiches as a base, but have soups/salads as well as calzones, pizza, and flatbreads. If you have a sweet tooth, Cinnabon products are available as well as cookies and brownies. Breakfast is also available with breakfast sandwiches, burritos and tacos. The food quality is pretty good and a nice option to standards like McDonald's and Arbys etc. Cost seems higher for what it is, but to be fair in the past year (2025-2026) prices seem to be soaring due to tariffs and other economic issues. Food quality is not bad, but not a stand out either. Soups seem to be one of the better options. Service seems so so for friendliness as well as speed. The environment is OK, again not a standout. New look but has an "Empty Sterile" nervous vibe. Overall, OK especially if you need a break from the standard fast food chains noting the prices for McDonald's and others has skyrocketed and service and over all experience has been on the decline, putting Schlotzskys well positioned for fast food. Managing my bias here as I almost never eat fast food unless there is a need such as short on time or thats all thats available. Go ahead, worth a try if you are in the market for fast food and tired of the typical places.
