I was pretty excited to see a bambu in Stockton. I'm a regular at the one in sacramento. I went into this store for a hazel nut mocha. I ordered like how I normally order my mocha in sac. To my surprise, they have different sizes. I ordered a large,. What I received was a watery drink, more expensive, and tasted nothing like the hazel nut mocha in the Sacramento bambu. The store was not well kept. The floors were not clean. They had friends chatting like it was a club house. I won't be going back to this one. read more

I had Che once before with a friend who ordered for me so I wasn't sure what to get when I came in, but the guy working there told me which ones were popular for newbies. New management and new drinks. I just came in and got the #6 desert and I'm very impressed. The whole thing was great. I like how the coconut had that crunch and the logan didn't overwhelm the rest of the the drink There was also several types of jellies in there, none of them are too sweet so it was very good. This is the perfect place to come on a hot day. I recommend everyone to come here and try it now since the owners are different from the last ones. I love the interior! Splendid job in the decoration. :) Lots of choices. #41 is definitely my go-to caffeine drink. #1 and/or #6 are the most popular dessert drinks. Every time I come here, I always get the Durian smoothie. Very thick, creamy, and smooth. On top of that, they use real durian. And durian is expensive! However, when I went yesterday, I notice that the quality of the drink is lacking. The flavor of the durian is very faint. They must be using less durian than usual. Lo and behold, on the counter by the register, a sign says "Urgent. Due to the rising cost of products and material, we will be raising our prices by $0.50." That's fine, but why are your drinks watered down? If your drink quality is suffering, it doesn't matter if your drinks are 25 cents. Your customers are going bye bye. read more

The only reason why I'm giving it one star is because one of the workers racially profiled my boyfriend. My boyfriend was doing a door dash order and he accidentally dropped the drinks but the company had put 6 drinks in one bag. My boyfriend went back inside and ask if they can remake the order for the costumer that order from the company and they told him no only if he used his own money to pay for the drinks. I find it ridiculous that someone would pay for someone else's drinks knowing that my boyfriend didn't buy a drink from that place. The worker got mad at my boyfriend and said "you can't come in here unless you speak Vietnamese". I find that extremely rude for a worker to speak to someone that isn't Vietnamese their self and to automatically being told to get out cause u don't speak the language is very disrespectful. read more

I've been to multiple Bambu locations, a couple of times at this location. I love desserts! Fillipino, Vietnamese, Chinese, Southeast Asian, American...all types of desserts (my fave is HK). So naturally, I love sweets. I love chewy things, I love fruits, I love coconut milk, blah, blah blah, so on and so on. Bambu, to me, would fall under Vietnamese dessert. So this past weekend, we came here and I got the #1, the Bambu Special - Coconut, pandan jelly, longan, basil seed. It's got all the factors that I love. The drink was refreshing and light but a bit on the sweet side. But hey, it's a dessert! However, I don't know what it was, there was like a scent when I bit into the pandan jellies, like you know those incense that you burn at a traditional Asian home? the scent reminded me of that. I wasn't a big fan of it because after a while, I couldn't take it anymore. Now, this might just be the pandan jelly, but I've had the same drink at a different location and I don't remember experiencing this. They do have more items on the menu other than dessert drinks, like milk teas, thai teas, etc. The shop is clean and there are tables and chairs to hang out and enjoy whatever's on TV. There's a small parking lot, but there's always parking available. I don't remember how much we paid, but I think on average the dessert drinks are +/- $5. And they take cards. Overall, yea, OK, not bad. Due to the lack of dessert places around here, I will be back. read more

One of my favorite milk tea spots in Stockton. It seems to be underrated now, maybe because of the price but I think it's worth it. I like the fact that they actually have a fresh coconut milk tea flavor because not many milk tea places do. There's so many ranges from Vietnamese dessert to iced coffees. I havent been back due to poor service (once it was locked before business hours were over and another time no one came to greet me even though there were customers waiting for their drinks & they have an indicator when you walk in). I gave them a 5 for their mixture of unique choices. I got my mom a jackfruit smoothie with boba, my son a lychee smoothie with boba, and my daughter an avocado smoothie. For myself I went with the Jasmine milk tea with boba, grass jelly & pandan jelly. The boba was perfect--not hard or slimy; light & chewy. Prices are a bit higher than other places, but I'm guessing they have to charge more because these desserts and drinks are all they serve. It also is a bit of a wait, but at least you know your items are being prepared with care. I'll definitely return. read more

This review is for the smoothies. I've been to Bambu twice now (in the same week!)and my husband and I both ordered the same thing each time. I had the Peach Catalina smoothie and added mango jellies. My husband ordered the Strawberry Fantasy with extra bananas and also added mango jellies. They are TO DIE FOR! I love the texture of the chewy little jellies and the drinks are cool, smooth and refreshing! They also look beautiful in the cup. I've been craving them ever since--I might even get more adventurous next time and order something different. The restaurant is modern and cool and there's a good vibe there. I hadn't planned on coming here when i did, but i was in the area and decided why not. I walked in and immediately noticed how calming the place felt. Its got a chill/mellow tone to it. The menu is pretty clear to understand. I usualy get a flavored boba/tapioca drink. However, this time i stepped out of my tiny boba comfort zone and got a strawberry tea. The place wasnt crowded at all, my friend and i and two other couples around evening time. Plenty of seating to just chill if u choose. My drink took about 3 minutes and we were out. Not a big fan of the strawberry tea. It was extremely sweet. And not in a good way. Too concentrated for my taste. The actual strawberries floating around was the only thing that made it palatable. I couldn't finish the drink lol. $4.25 down the drain. Not mad at trying something new, now i just know i dont like it. I will go back, just to try somethign different. read more
