Drinks were as good as usual, unfortunately the service was not. It was very slow, and just two orders were in front of my order. I waited about 15 mins for my drink until I asked what was taking so long since the two orders ahead of me were already out for some time now. The guy at the front (softly spoken) said he had made an announcement about still cooking the pandan jelly, which he didn't. And I just decided to switch out the item since it was only in 1/2 of the drinks I ordered. ***I would suggest that if you do not have any jelly prepared for a specific drink, to inform your customers about the wait or recommend a different drink to avoid the wait. This is my favorite dessert place in Stockton. Therefore, I always stop by whenever am in town. I love it so much that I ordered the three color dessert for my wedding in lieu of a traditional cake or candy buffet. Vietnamese people love chè so it was such a huge hit. I'm so glad one finally opened in Stockton! :) You're gonna be enjoying my business for the next few days I'm here. I went here with a few friends during a study break. Prepare for at least a 10-15 minute wait since it gets pretty busy around lunch / dinner time. I ordered four drinks (not all for myself, I swear!) - 3 dessert ones, and a milk tea + boba. Sadly, they ran out of boba and pandan jelly, so I had to make some substitutes :( Additionally, they also accidentally mixed up one of my drinks and gave me the wrong one. Luckily, they were friendly & corrected my order right away, so it wasn't too bad. Keep in mind, this was the second day they were open!! Maybe with more time, they'll be a little more organized and keep their inventories well stocked. Now for the drinks!! This Bambu location just opened and when I found out they sell boba drinks, I just had to pay them a visit. Their drink selection is massive! They have a whole list of bubble pearl drinks in different flavors that you can choose from. I ordered their Thai Milk Tea with boba but was disappointed to hear they ran out of boba. It was 9 o'clock at night, though, so I cut them some slack for that. The employee let me know they have a variety of jelly (same idea as boba but tastes and looks different), so I ordered their combo jelly to add to my drink. When my drink came out, I was pleased with its taste. It tasted just like I expected -- not too sweet but with just the right amount of smoothness. This was my first time trying jelly and while I wasn't a huge fan, it was okay. Within minutes of getting there, too, the place started getting really busy. They seem to have already established a steady customer base. I can see this location doing well. If I'm ever in the area, again, I'm down for giving them another shot and trying out another drink. read more

I didn't like the Bambu Special as much, but I would recommend #6 or #10. Both are solid options. If you're hungry and just want a quick drink, stop by here. I really like the innovation with these drink/desserts! I got the Bambu Combo drink (number one on the menu). It consists of coconut juice, coconut meat, longan,basil seeds, and pandan jelly. It was a little too sweet for me because of the coconut juice. but I really love the pandan jelly, it was a new concept for me. unless typical jelly in drinks, it has a more glutinous and chewy texture to it, almost like mochi. They were also pretty generous with the amount of longan they give, which is a big plus! Im excited to try the other drinks they have as well! Yummy! I stopped in for a quick boba fix because it's super hot! The employee working the cash register was very nice and didn't mind while i took awhile to decide what I wanted. They have various of different drinks. I got a little scared and overwhelmed with the menu, so I opted for what I know it always good: taro milk tea! And I was right. It was deeeelicious. I added tapioca and red bean (.25¢ for toppings!!) and they definitely didn't disappoint with taro. They don't use half n half or creamer, but coconut milk! It's sooo creamy and yummy. #6 for the win! I 've introduced a number of people to Bambu since it came to Stockton! I love this place so much that when I was in Oahu for a month I would take a bus every other day to get my fix! Since day one, the customer service has been excellent, friendly and quick. I've never had a problem with my drink not being ready or even wrong. The quality is always great and never sways. My drinks taste the same every single time I come. We tend to drive from Lathrop to Stockton quite often to get a taste of Bambu. Blame my mom if we've came right be closing and kept you open. All right, I'm going to write a review. Been here couple of times every Saturday afternoon after work. I work at The Farmer's market and sometime I would smell like fish or I'll dress funky only because I'd rather save my good clothes from getting dirty. I went last week and nobody was in sight. One of the best places to get Vietnamese desserts in NorCal. I like going here and get the number 1 is which my favorite. The number one is the bambu special. It was very delicious and not too sweet. There is plenties of desserts, coffee, or smoothies choices to choose from here. I like how they have more choices than other places. Also, it a good spot to hang out and catch up with others. I've had better che and drinks, but for a town that doesn't have a strong Vietnamese base, this wasn't too bad. I ordered the rau ma with coconut juice (or water? I forget) and it was alright. I personally prefer rau ma juice straight with sugar, but I realize that not everyone is a fan of rau ma (my Korean friends were NOT about it) so the coconut juice is a good way to temper the flavor of the rau ma. The che itself is alright, but I personally prefer what I get in Little Saigon - and it's cheaper in Little Saigon too! I really like that it's clean at Bambu which is a nice change of pace for a Vietnamese shop/restaurant. The employees are really nice too. I think if you're new to Vietnamese che and drinks, this is the place to go. Not my favorite place for boba, but for decent Vietnamese desserts, Bambu is the way to go. read more

The drinks we had was too powdery. We didn't like it. And it just had a weird taste to it.

Terrible quality, the ingredients were not fully cooked and coconut milk only taste sugar and water.

So, not sure if they're under new management or hired new staff but the customer service is subpar , and so are the drinks. The prices have increased especially those with coconut pulp which I can handle, but when they fail to put enough coconut in the drink that requires it, is another story, then they try to deny it and don't offer anything to please paying customers! They will also mix/dilute fresh coconut water with sugar water, you can taste the difference, which they'll deny also. O'h yeah I almost forgot to mention, I found a few antsin one my drinks as well. They used to so much better! I used to recommend them for a good dessert drink, but now I don't! Come on guys, you can do better than that! Two besties on the road wanted something to drink while their trip to Sacramento. One of them driving the other being the copilot looked up for options and put directions to here. When they entered the solitary place, there was only one customer preparing to leave and one gal in charge of the place. We placed our orders after asking a few questions on the drinks we wanted. The girl was serious, dry and almost rude... charged us and went in the back to make our drinks. Few minutes later after we were already a few blocks away the place... I noticed my taro milk tea being way too thick and with this strange after taste. Bestie driver said her drink was way too sweet. Good thing we found a taco bell right before entering the freeway and a starburst freeze saved the moment. Coming here was a such a bad idea ... bad customer service and the taro milk tea sucked! Hands Down Yummy! Best Vietnamese Dessert place in Stockton. I got the #1 Bambu Special! If you are a fan of light and refreshing desserts, this has coconut water so it might not be for everyone since it has a really distinct taste and is only lightly sweet. They add coconut, jelly, longan, and basil seed. I love how the coconut is so soft and the jelly adds a chewy sweetness. I came here with a buddy of mine on our day off and it was very delicious. Bambu is always on point in the South Bay, so while I was in town, I was excited to see there was a location which recently opened to get my fixin'. Service was really slow. I was the third person in line and it took like 10 minutes for them to take the orders before me. It also took another 10 minutes for me to get my drink after I ordered. I believe the whole process could be expediated. For example, it would be nice to have someone work on my drink first, and then have me pay at the register. My drink (#6) also tasted watered down. For $4 and a 20-30 minute wait, this location was not worth it. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume it is because they opened only recently. read more

When this place opened last friday 7/26, it by default became the best boba milk tea place in stockton. This chain specializes in viet dessert and asian drinks and has locations in sacramento, san jose, and san francisco. The desserts are fresh and are quite filling. Their boba is an upgrade over lollicup or quicklys but nothing too amazing. This location accepts credit cards and is also closed on mondays. Overall it is not as good as LA or SF boba but this will be my go to place for boba in sacramento and stockton. read more

I've been to this location many times and I went a week ago and today and both times recently, they didn't have any of there open signs on, which made me think they were closed and I almost drove away both times but I walked up to the door anyway and they were open. I told the workers each time I was there that there signs were not on again. Hopefully they start turning on there open signs more because they are driving away a lot of business by not having there signs turned on.
