Decided to try out Protein Monkey after a difficult workout. I went 30 min before they closed on a saturday. I got a protein peanut butter banana chocolate "recovery" smoothie. It is thick, not too sweet, and had a nice flavor. It costs ~$15. I would've sat and drank my smoothie inside if I didn't arrive so close to closing. Entering, I was immediately greeted by a staff member that gave me a run down of their food and drinks, gifted a peanut butter protein ball and I got to spin their wheel. I got to try a free mango aloe shot due to my wheel spin. It was refreshing and yummy! The staff graciously explained in detail the health benefits of their food/drink and had a large variety of flavors. It is definitely a treat to go. I see myself coming back. read more

This was my second time to protein monkey in the 209. Both of my visits have been very positive and I have nothing but good things to say. The help in there is able to describe the drinks which was nice because only being there two times I don't necessarily understand all of the options. Today I went with the Snickers, which was very good. I always like to try new things when I go places like this so I'll need to check the menu out a little closer for the next time. read more

Second time here, last time was a cpl years ago. Drinks and shakes are delicious! No public restroom but they do have one for paying customers. Girls behind the counter were super friendly. Delicious! First time customer... the man (i assume the owner) up front was very welcoming and kind. Shared I track my macros and he gave me an overview of the cookie and donut macros. I considered a waffle but got the donut and cookie. They are both delicious. I made a hot chocolate to go with them. The donut is bouncy and moist... not dry, it's almost like a mug cake with fun toppings + protein. The cookie was buttery, peanut buttery and soft enough. Customers were also super kind to me. Great vibe, everyone's friendly. My first time here did not know what to expect. they are on the expensive side but everything is nowadays . I ended up getting the blueberry cheesecake and their protein doughnut which has peanut butter. The blueberry cheesecake was really good, I recommend if you don't know what to get. My first time coming here I entered literally 15 minutes before closing and didn't know what was going on. The person at the front asked me what I was looking for. I told him I wanted to stay away from whey protein so I opted for plant based. I asked the nutritional info, he then told me the amount of protein it has and how much sugar it has. So my drink was around 35 grams of protein and 3 g of sugar. I found it helpful, I asked questions, it's exactly what I wanted and it tasted amazing! Yes the price was 14 dollars for the drink but it's definitely worth it. There's so many places that charge 11 dollars let alone for boba. Anyways, the taste was fire, the people there were nice and welcoming and not judgmental. I will be coming back! Don't get me wrong the shakes are okay but the service here is terrible. Very unwelcoming when you come in and they always rush you into what you want. I don't know what their problem is. I came in with my friend after a good workout and an upbeat mood walked in greeted the lady behind the counter immediately he energy was just very off putting and rude. I'm not sure of her name but she had dark hair, dark skin, she looked like she was in her 30-40s at first I thought she was going to be nice but after she was taking my order very rudely and giving me attitude she completely ignored my friend who was ready to order and pay. The owner is nice and welcoming but the people he has hired are very rude and unwelcoming I have multiple friends that go there and have said that as well it's hard to find a protein shop like chill nutrition that made you just feel welcomed and loved when you first walk in. I come here religiously for my Snickers w/monkey business shake because it's delicious! It's the perfect pick me up when I want to replace a meal. Love the owners, they are always so kind and in great moods every time I come. Yes- it can be an expensive habit always coming here, however I just learned about the coupons you can earn after so many visits. Make sure to sign in on the little kiosk each time you go in!! Called to inquire about protein before I arrived. Walked in to possibly try younout even though you did not have what I was looking for. As I entered, your team was talking about my weird call and odd request. I walked out. While your competition also does not have my preferred source of protein, they hold back on the ridicule to alternative protein sources. I went here to grab a protein shake, and it was pretty good. It wasn't THE BEST I've had, but was good and probably worth the money. This place uses Herbalife products, which are great if you are looking for low in sugar meals in shake form. The shake did have pieces of the Herbalife snack bar in it, which were oddly chewy pieces that kept getting stuck in my straw. I could have gone without that in my shake. I was a little concerned as nobody was taking COVID precautions. Other customers were, but the employees were not. Overall, it was a good shake and such a cute little spot. read more

I was expecting the worst after seeing the reviews, but to my surprise everything was very good! When I came in I was the only one there, so the lady working gave me a lot of attention and explained everything to me. They use Herbalife products. I got the lemon tea with aloe in it, and a snickers shake. The tea tasted like regular tea, which was great because I was looking for it to have a strange taste. The only bad part was they put so many ice cubes in it that I couldn't put a straw in, so I had to take the top off and drink it, which cause ice cubes to fall on my face when I got towards the bottom. But not a big deal. The snickers shake was very good! I enjoyed it. Wish I could get these more frequently to see if the benefits they claim actually work. Will come again! read more

I have been on Herbalife for 2 years and it's really benefited my health and happiness! Once you walk in the staff is very welcoming. Even if there if a lot going on, they still make sure to greet me and make sure I don't need any assistance ordering. Through covid they have remained open and kept the same hours. They take all precautions for a virus free location. They have sanitizer available once you walk in the door, "clean" & "dirty" containers for pens, touch less scan codes to pay with your phone rather than pulling out your card or cash. I am a customer who likes to sit and enjoy my shake. From what I observe around me not many people stay. It's a great grab and head to work place. But those who stay are not required to wear a mask while enjoying their meal. Which is not absurd because any food & drink location is the same. Anywhere you go you enter at your own risk and take your own precautions. I genuinely love this place it's like a second home! read more

I hate having to come here when my fave shop, Edge Nutrition, isn't open. The staff is never like a warm hug. They ignore their customers and just talk amongst themselves. Drinks are more expensive than my usual shop and don't taste as good but when I need my Herbalife fix and no one else is open, they usually are. Meh. read more

As a first time customer who was curious to try a new place, I was actually a little confused trying to figure out what exactly I was ordering based on the menu sheet. However, after-the-fact it's actually quite simple (a tea and a shake). The tea and the shake were actually very good. The owners, you can tell, have a passion for what they do and during the time I was there, they had a steady stream of business and regular customers. Actually consistently busy which is nice to see. People even call in for orders-to-go. My only negative, especially being a first-time customer, is that there are no prices listed on what you are ordering. And of course there are add-ons and upgrades but have no idea what the prices are. I trust they are honest people but I'm kinda anal that way in wanting to know ahead of time what it costs before purchasing. . The positive is that it's a fairly social place w music and even free wi-fi (u have to ask for the password). They have a a bar and seating available inside and outside to enjoy ur specialty made beverage with a lot of choices. It's impossible to not find something you wouldn't like. It seems a little pricey but I assure you the customer base does not seem to mind. The health advantage seems to be worth it. I use Yelp a lot but I never write a review because I've never felt like I needed to. I wanted a smoothie that would cover my lack of not having breakfast or lunch. I found this place looked great so I told myself why not. I came in & didn't get greeted at all. I told them the reason why I came & maybe I wasn't clear about why I wanted to come in but she interrupted me after I said I Yelp searched 'smoothies' & said "you should go to Jamba Juice instead." I thought that was rude. I just wanted to try something new. I still ordered & I received the wrong smoothie I had asked for. So hope this helps other people. Raspberry tea with aloe and a raspberry cheesecake shake. Also at the end I had a liftoff orange shot for $3. Reasonably sized portions for what you pay. When you first come in, on the front counter there are pens and little forms for you to fill out what you want to order. Nspire has some of the best protein shakes I've ever had. The service is decently quick and the workers are always down to have a good conversation! The protein is not subtle, though, so many people who don't like the taste of protein can have trouble adjusting to the texture.
