We had such an awesome experience at Sheila B'Z today. This was our first time here. The first…read morething I noticed was there was ample seating: at the counter, tables or booths. Aaliyah greeted us as soon as we walked in and directed us towards our table. Coincidentally, she was also our server. It was like we knew her for years. Aaliyah was friendly and attentive. We started with the mimosa flights. We couldn't decide on flavors, however, Aaliyah picked a variety of flavors for us, so we were covered. The food came out hot! I had the meat lover skillet with eggs over-easy. The eggs were cooked perfect. The warm yolk added to the flavorful meat and smothered potatoes. René had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and tender. Next time we'll ask for a side of sauce because it's so good that we needed more than provided, at least for us. One thing we noticed was that every customer was happy. Maybe the other customers were regulars there but this was our first time and we were treated like we were regulars. I think it just says something about the attention to customer service. Toward the end of our visit, "B" one of Sheila's daughters, came out to check on us. Again, it was like talking to a long time friend. Well, it turns out Sheila B'Z is a family business - - everyone working was family, including those working the food truck at an event today. I love that. We will totally be back!

The service was great and again toast to the chefs it was delicious

We both really enjoyed our food! The short rib was very moist and soft. Mash potatoes were very smooth. Put waiter was very kind and attentive as well.

3 stars because of the service. I went tonight and we had a good waitress who took our order fairly…read morepromptly. However when we received our entrees I was underwhelmed. The chicken Parmigiana (house specialty) was presented on a large plate and the food only took up half of it. Was this a plating error? It truly looked like food was missing on the plate. The Rib Eye, a special of the night came in 2 large pieces and on small piece. It made no sense. It took a while to get our waitresses attention, but when we did she took it to her manager. I sent it back after asking is this how it is typically served she said sometimes it comes like that and other times it comes as one big piece. When ordering a $60 steak I expect to get a whole steak. If I was told it was done for sharing purposes maybe I would have understood it being in 2 pieces but not a third small piece. To top it off, this is for the manager on site tonight, your patrons can see your reaction. You looked pissed that I had the audacity to send it back. Then while you stood speaking with the chef in the open kitchen it again looked like a problem that I would want a whole steak. Lastly when speaking with the waitress and she leaves seemingly upset at your reaction it does not make for a good dining atmosphere. The restaurant was packed. It is homecoming weekend. Like led like some locals were there too. At the table next to us a staff member sat down with some patrons eating before going back to work tables delivering beverages. Probably on a break. I was please to see family and friends supporting the restaurant. The Chicken parmigiana with the pesto was delicious besides the poor plating. The Rib Eye once served properly was lacking n some seasoning or as my son said it tasted bland. Maybe the butter needed to be melted all over it to give it additional seasoning, but I would prefer to not eat the cold butter that didn't want to melt into the steak. Mashed potatoes were mashed potatoes. String beans were blanched and crunchy. Lots of them filling up the plate. The BEST thing we ate was the Pear Crisp! It was warm and sweet with the perfect crunch on top. The restaurant is large but reservations fill up! There was a back room that could be closed up by some drapes and a large bar area. Also in the front is a market to purchase pre cooked and portion items home. Along with sauces, ice cream, items for a charcuterie board and wine to drink in house or take it to go. To go prices are slightly lower. I would consider going back and give it an another try. The wood fired pizzas, burgers and salads looked very good. Large portions as well for those. Watching the managers reaction to my disappointment in my order truly detracted from the dining experience. He never came over to speak to us. I might be in from out of town but I do get to choose where my family dines when we are here large or small parties.

Parking is free. No need to pack shampoo and conditioner, nor lotion because it's provided in the room. You can't even make your own coffee in the room without stepping out. Our room had a refrigerator and a microwave, which was really convenient. If you're a rewards member your offered a water bottle at check-in I will return

There is a piece of metal hanging above the door to building C and he hit his head on it walking in. Granted he is 6 foot 8 inches tall so the average person wouldn't have bonked it. None the less I feel like it should be fixed. He also complained about this hole we had in the carpet of room 358. Everything else was pretty good as per usual. Unfortunately there were no usb charging ports on my side of the bed like I've had in other rooms. We will continue to stay at this hotel and have another stay booked for late November. I was happy to see them repair the door that was slamming for building C. Staff is always very helpful and polite. Rooms are nice and clean as well. The breakfast isn't anything too crazy but awesome for being free with the stay. A good bit of veriety and the waffles aren't bad at all. I hope to see this Best Western keep up the great work and fix the things that need fixing. Can't wait for our next visit!
