I've had them plenty of times but the lady time I went I was very disappointed and frustrated. I had never in the past had such a bad experience. The barista took our order and then proceeded to take other orders and make theirs before mine. I waited almost AN HOUR for two coffee tasting flights that were absolutely horrible. She then disclosed that she was new and didn't know how to make them. I asked for a refund and left. But overall with the exception of that one terrible experience, it's a great place to sit and enjoy some coffee.

We liked them so much that we packed up the leftovers and took them with us while we walked over to the visitor center afterward. That's always a good sign when you're making sure not a single chip goes to waste. We've been here quite a few times over the years, and one thing that keeps us coming back is the consistency. The food is always excellent, and even on busier days they seem to keep things moving. During this visit the restaurant was fairly crowded, but we were still served promptly and never felt forgotten. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about Maison. It feels relaxed without being overly casual and always makes for a nice lunch stop when we're in Lodi. Helpful tip: If the chips come with your meal, don't leave them behind. They're surprisingly addictive and worth taking home if you can't finish them. Between the great food, friendly service, and reliable consistency, Maison continues to be one of our favorite places to stop whenever we're spending the day in Lodi.

The room is large, comfortable and the ambiance is rustic country. I got two Butter Croissants and two Jalapeño Cheddar Scones for me and the husband. Both were excellent, delicious, and quite large. This place is nestled between Papapavlos and First Toast and they all share the outdoor seating space. By 10am it started to fill up. My friend and I both wanted a latte as we saw some cute pics on Yelp of their coffee art. I would say that I was disappointed, however both girls told us they were practicing so I figured why not. We asked for cups but they gave it to us in a to go cup with a lid...no point in coffee art if it's going to be covered up lol. After I took off the lid I understood why LOL. Our orders were taken quickly and our food and drinks were served in good timing as well. The chocolate croissant is delicious with the chocolate not being too sweet at all but rather bitter which blended well with the croissant breading. The coffee was very good, not too sweet and the coffee was well balanced with the creaminess as well. Could be a bit bigger in portion with these prices but I think it's still worth it. All in all, I give it 4 star rating.
