Compared to Randolphs, they fill up the entire cup! Won't be ordering the Smashed Avocado anymore. Also, the young girl running the cashier could use some more training on how to talk to customers. A place to grab Vietnamese desserts in Dorcester. They have a variety of Che as well as coffees, smoothies, and milk teas. We got the coffee milk tea with coffee jelly and the blended cold coffee mocha with coffee jelly. Both were average however they both tasted more like milk tea. The che we got were fruit addict(#6) and the coconut combo (#11). The che was average, lacked flavor and on top of it, the desert was missing pandan jelly and red tapioca. I have been to Bambu many times and I fell in love with all their drinks. You can really tell that everything here is fresh. The coconut milk here is authentic and you can tell they don't use it out of a can. Same with the Coco-juice( they got it out of fresh coconut) because I always get the Coco juice at the market and it is obvious that there's a different taste to it. My favorite che is the number 10 and I always get it. It's basic and simple. I also get the awesome trio( che ba Mau) and it has variety of beans. The smoothies are really fresh and their teas are amazing. Their store is magnificent especially the interior design and it's very clean. They tend to switch up the theme which always surprises me. I drank my first oolong tea here and occasionally come back when I am craving it again. They do make it sweet in case you were wondering. Honestly the this place is perfect for any Vietnamese dessert cravings! Their che menu vary from beans, fruits, coconut water, coconut milk, pandan jelly, grass jelly, red tapioca. You can even customize your che. Their coffee, milk tea, and smoothies are also exceptionally good. I love how they care about their boba. Great place! I'm a white washed Asian who never grew up on this stuff, so when I brought my Vietnamese Born mother to this place her eyes was wide opened and she looked like a kid in a candy shop! She was amazed with the selections, smell of the coconut panda bread (green waffle thing). I know I ordered something very good but I surely don't know what it's called. The service was great, we were greeted by a girl and she took our order, the owner came out and helped us and offered recommendations to my mum in Vietnamese. I didn't understand any of it, but my mom was happy. I'll be honest, my mum is hard to please, she normally complains on certain things but she only had great things to saw and add, she fell in love with the Panda greenish waffle, and so was I. Bambu is my favorite bubble tea shop. I come here very often to buy the Che as well. I recommend the number ten, it tastes so awesome and good. The cashier is very nice helping me out. Mhhh....I don't know what is all these negative reviews is about. I visited the place last weekend and their che are pretty good. The smoothies are on the notch. Very rich, creamy and flavoring. Services are fast. I love the location because it right in field corner, a few blocks away from my house. Now I don't have to go all the way out to Randolph to get Bamboo desserts. The menu have less choices than the one in Randolph but hopefully they will add more stuffs to the list later on. The store is very relaxing and clean. There are a few competitions around the area like Sweet Sip right next door and CoCo Leaf down the street that sell the same thing. read more

We came around 8:30pm on a Sunday night. There were only 1 or 2 parties that ordered ahead of us but it took 15 min for us to get our #2 bambu combo. I'm sure it was worth the wait considering the jelly tasted like it was old and in the fridge for a while. I also didn't think it was sweet enough. I got the same one that I got in Cali which was the fruit addict. It was awful. Extremely watered down and flavorless. Not only was she super pretty (her makeup was bomb), but she was very kind and knows exactly what I want to drink.
