Tbaar is a great place to hang out with friends! There's plenty of seating inside, and they even have games like Jenga and Uno. It feels very lively and welcoming with the bright window lighting and upbeat music. The staff here are sooo kind and also really efficient!! Which makes the experience even better. The drinks usually don't disappoint... I've tried quite a few and they're always been yummy. Today I ordered the Peach Green Tea with Milk Foam, but I wouldn't recommend it since it tasted a bit sour. All my friends' drinks tasted amazing. My personal favorite is the Tbaar Green Milk Tea because it's floral and creamy. If you like drinks that are more on the milky side rather than super strong tea, Tbaar is definitely for you. I was strolling around in the area after getting my eyebrows threaded & was feeling parched. It's been so long since I last had Tbaar but figured why not give it another try. My memory of having Tbaar in the past is fuzzy, though I don't remember enjoying it very much back then. They have so many drinks on their menu, I honestly couldn't figure out what I wanted haha. Thankfully, one of the workers helped me out by giving me recs & I was then able to decide on two smoothies to try! I ordered a mango strawberry banana smoothie & mango orange smoothie. Thoughts: Both drinks had an artificial taste. The mango orange smoothie came with mango chunks that reminded me of the canned dole pineapple chunks, same idea. Eh. Still drinkable though but not something I would come back again for. I did enjoy the strawberry mango banana smoothie much more than the mango orange smoothie. You know what really grinds my gears? When you order milk tea, and the stuff doesn't even taste like tea! While I do put cream in my coffee, I put whiskey in my whiskey. One of the things I love about Tbaar - the quality of the drinks. They are not watered down in the slightest! The tapioca pearls were A-OK, not the greatest I've ever had, but perfectly acceptable. Next, the value seems very fair and in line with the area, even better considering the tea's excellence! The service has consistently been fast and friendly as well. Finally, in rounding out the shiny 5-star rating is their cups. Look, I respect the ubiquitous heat-sealed cups, but sticking a straw through the cellophane makes somewhat of a mess from escaping tea. Tbaar's variety not only have a dedicated hole for the straw, but are sturdy as well! The common variety is a Bellagio cousin waiting to happen should I accidentally increase my grip by a grain (a seven-thousandth of a pound). Now to try the food next time! Considering how well done beverages are, I have no doubt it will be excellent! read more

This boba place is a chain, but one of my favs. My go-to is always the sea salt milk foam green tea with pudding. I really like how smooth their pudding is and how fragrant their green tea is! I have walked by this place so many times & decided to finally check it out. I ended up getting a fresh juice w/ boba pearls, cause of course, it's the best part & so much fun. Back after a few months. We got strawberry cheese foam, Dragon Fruit foam cheese, brown sugar milk tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea and Brown Sugar Matcha. Also got Taiwanese fried chicken popcorn and mango crepe cake. Both Cheese Foam drinks were delicious. The strawberry on was so favorful. The brown sugar drinks are decent. My cousin wanted to come here because she got a nift coupon. I can't say much about this place at the time of quarantine so the display of the store is negligible. The service was okay even though right after my cousin ordered, the girl ignored me and asked the next customer to step up. I got a large super green and I would recommend not getting large size drinks here because if you look at the picture attached, about an inch is foam and then there's still plenty of room up on the top. WORST customer service. They take your money. Don't care about customer satisfaction. And lie. They overcharged me. Didn't care that they did and just said their menu states old prices. Then said they could refund me the drink. They had already made me the drink but said I didn't pay for it so they put it in the back. One person said they would give me the drink for free but then the other person said I didn't pay for it. Pretty horrible customer service. I've been checking the yelp page of this place for how many months now and haven't been to the place until yesterday. I used to live in quincy for 3 years so I pretty much know the area. It hasn't been long since this place opened in the area and I also like quincy it's getting more places to go to and fun stuff to do as well. Finally got the chance to check this place out. When I entered the store I got so excited! It looks so cool and cute. You can also play games while hanging out or waiting for your order or even when your just deciding what to get. They have so much selections of bubble tea and regular tea, smoothies, juice and some Chinese crepes. For my first visit , me and my companions got Thai iced tea, Black milk tea and I got the honeydew milk tea. We also got the classic Chinese crepe but I didn't get to taste it since I wasn't hungry. The interior of the place was cute and cozy! I had Pokémon stiffed toys and cute cup displays at the counter. It also has a game in the middle of the place but I forgot what's it called. I loved my drink. It wasn't too sweet. Just the right amount of sugar and I also got it with less ice. I would recommend the place to kill time or hang with friends. I stopped by for their grand opening BOGO special. The location is located right by the Quincy Center T station. They offered some games/entertainment for people and some seating but it is quite small inside. The special was pretty lame only offering 4 different choices for people to choose from. My friend and I ordered the passion fruit tea and taro milk tea, which came out to around $5 with the BOGO offer. The taro wasn't offered in the BOGO special, but they ran out of the matcha w red bean so they replaced it with taro milk tea instead. There are 2 sizes, medium and large, and the medium cup is basically a size small. The price is definitely not worth it here. The passionfruit was ok, it was very sweet while the taro milk tea tasted really strange. It did not taste like taro at all...save your time, dont come here! read more

This place used to be 86 C degree and was a better place. I haven't tried it since it changed the name. Today, I Ordered milk tea. Just a bag of artificial favored sugary water. No taste of real milk or real tea. Bubble is ok. Not good experience overall, would not recommend to anyone if you want quality milk tea or any tea. By the way, the board games there smell stinky. The worst boba experience I've ever had my 8 years in MA. Their menu had a sea salt milk foam green tea. I asked if it's ok if to change to black tea. The gentleman called over a manager and she said yes. I then asked for boba inside and after he consulted w the manager again...I heard my order being changed to a milk tea w boba. To prevent this error, I repeated what my order was. To which I was told I could not add boba to their milk foam red tea...it had to be a milk tea...I sighed. The gentleman actually said to me in Chinese "why are you so pissed off?" What a joke! Any other boba shop in MA would have gotten this down no problem. 1) put boba in cup 2) blend black tea w sugar, pour in cup 3) top w milk foam - done! The hot panda green milk tea is great. I usually get it with 0% sugar as the bubbles are sweetened. The black bubbles are soft and chewy while the white bubbles have a slight crunch like aloe jelly. It's my go to when I want to treat myself. At close to $6, it's not the cheapest bubble tea place in the area but it is convenient as it's right next to the Quincy Center T stop. Came here in their grand opening with their grand opening specials of BOGO. They had 4 choices (2 Hot, 2 cold - see attached photo). The menu is vast with lots of options. Price is a bit steep but I guess that's the trend now. Friends and I got all 4 to try. The matcha red bean was lacking in red beans. The vanilla tea with boba tasted like coffee and super sweet. We asked for no sugar but they said it would taste weird without it so opted for little and it was still super sweet. Why did it taste like coffee?!?! Also the boba was super soft and not chewy at all. There weren't much in there either. Very disappointing. The other two were alright. The location is at the Quincy Center T station where the 98 degree used to be. The ambience is cool modern with lots of game options for the crowd. A few large TV screens. Lots of table space. It's very awkward where they put the ordering station which is the entente and exit. If you're in line it's hard for people to exit so you literally have to move. The trash receptacle is on the right as you exit but you can barely see it and the slit to put trash in is tiny! Later we ordered a durian crepe that was over $10. Totally moth worth it. The crepe was mushy and too floury if that's a proper word to describe it. A little more durian would have been nicer. The flavor is there but very little durian. I tried to order a strawberry smoothie and asked no added sugar. The cashier said they don't add sugar but then also said they can reduce the sweetness. I asked how? She said they use strawberry jam to make the smoothie and would just put less jam. Huh???? That defeats the entire purpose of a smoothie of jam is being used and not actual fruit but whatever. I decided not to order it. She then said they had other smoothies which were 3 options. I opted for the simmer one. $6.50 (M) and $7.50 (L) respectively.
