Pechanga has plenty of offerings when it comes to dining but my favorite spot is the Bamboo. It's all the way in the back of the casino after you pass the circle bar. On the weekends it gets extremely busy but come on a Tuesday and you will be seated immediately. The food here is absolutely delicious! My favorite item that I always order is the Crispy Orange Peel Beef. It's crispy thinly sliced beef pieces covered in a thick delicious orange zesty sauce. Amazing! My mother in law orders the clay pots. On our most recent visit she got the Sczchuan Eggplant Claypot which had shredded pork, bamboo shoots, mushrooms, bell peppers, onion, and of course eggplant. The sauce is so flavorful! Just wish there was more eggplant in the pot, it had way too much onions. Nonetheless still good. My husband ordered the Gal Bi Deop Bap which is grilled Korean short ribs. I didn't try it but my husband kept raving on how good it was. Big portions for all the entrees and each of them came with a little bowl of white rice. Always have leftovers to take home for the next few days. So if you're ever in Pechanga I recommend this spot. Located inside Pechanga Casino not far from the fast food court lies this little gem. We arrived for a late dinner around 8:30pm and it was still pretty busy. The menu has plenty of options from Chinese to Filipino food choices. I was quick to select the Pancit with shrimp. The portion's are huge and the flavors were very good. Service was attentive, they didn't have the wine I requested so the server recommended another one. It was a very good choice, I enjoyed the selection very much. We had roast duck noodle soup, Mongolian lamb chops and pork belly. Very small portion of egg noodles with the duck. Pork belly was a bit over cooked. Lamb was just ok. It was a total letdown after waiting 1.5+ hours for our table. It's ver basic inside almost like cafeteria. Did I mentioned my BF had to chase away flies. But all that aside, service was the worst. A waiter came over with one of our dishes and told us to move the condiment tray, didn't say please or thank you and no eye contact, just left. One thing I hate when I eat it is feeling like I paid far too much for the meal. Based on that sentence and the rating I'm pretty sure you know where this is going. We ordered the shrimp tempura, fried egg rolls, wonton noodle soup, and garlic noodles with braised beef. I don't expect my food to be made from scratch the moment the kitchen receives my order. I do, however, expect that for the price charged the tempura ($15 for 6 pieces) and egg rolls ($14 for 3 pieces cut in half) didn't come from a box. It's obvious because each piece of tempura was uniform in size and had that rectangular shape. They also came out in 5 minutes from ordering them leading me to believe that they were fresh from the warming pan. The egg rolls tasted ok, but it was clear that they were probably sitting next to the tempura under their own heating bulb. The wonton noodle soup was a disappointing bowl of lightly flavored water, a few sprigs of cilantro, some spinach, egg noodles, and 4 whole wontons. For the price charged, I expected more. In the end, the only decent food on the table was the garlic noodles. Nonetheless, when everything else on the table is subpar, it puts a damper on other dishes that are decent in their own right. Not bad but not great. The foods are too oily and salty, and the teas are too sweet. I had a BBQ duck with egg noodle, and the entire thing was a bit too salty and the soup too oily. The noodle was also too soft and soggy, but the duck's flavor was good, so it started ok. The portions were quite large and sufficient, and the price was ok for being here inside the casino. We also had an oxtail rice noodle, which was also a bit greasy. For drinks there aren't that many choices, sodas and ice teas, and a that tea. We opted for the Thai tea with boba, but it was way way too sweet, I mean really way to sweet even compared to a mountain dew, and we know that one is sweet. And the boba was obviously from the night before. I guess they're just not that picky here about custom drinks. So we left most of it untouched. Recommendation is to remind the waiter to have firmer noodles, reduce salt, and avoid the teas here and just get a soda. read more

The pad Thai was the grossest thing I've ever eaten. It was so intense with tartness. My son's caregiver couldn't eat it. I couldn't eat it. My autistic son doesn't know better he just ate what was being fed to him. There was a lot of it to take home but I ultimately trashed it. We used to love the food here but last night was terrible! The pho dac biet we ordered came out with "cold" soup. The chef seemed to have microwaved the dish instead of cooking it properly. Then the "kare-kare" or beef peanut stew was watery! It was supposed to be eaten with shrimp paste and we were given an oily mess of small shrimps fry. We asked one of the servers and was told they didn't have some ingredients on hand. While it was saucier than what I normally like my lamb chops to be, they were perfectly grilled and still crunchy on the outside, while tender and tasty on the inside (but not gamey). I'm from Orange County where Asian food is abundant My family and friends always want to eat here whenever we stay because they want their Vietnamese fix. I've tried this place a few times and every time I have always been satisfied. They have pretty authentic Vietnamese food for somewhere that has little Vietnamese people. I have tried the following and its description: Congee with Black Egg- Yum! They are not stingy with their eggs. There is plenty. The congee is flavored well and very delicious. It's perfect for when you want something warm. Seafood Egg Roll- These are normally served with lettuce and fish sauce. The egg rolls are fried perfectly and are really good. I recommend as a starter. Quail- The quail is served with some lettuce and salt & pepper. I thought it was good and flavored well. Nothing too special though. Duck- We normally always order a whole duck if I come in a large party. It's pretty good here and is a generous size. Beef with Chinese Broccoli- The beef is always cooked perfectly and the broccoli is never over cooked. It's drenched a garlicky sauce. It's worth getting. Wonton Soup- You can get this for free if you check-in through yelp. The soup came with some greens and shrimp wontons. It was well flavored and delicious. It's very fresh tasting and tasted like they made it. I recommend it. It's also free if you check in. Pho- The pho here is always good but always served not hot enough. Make sure you ask them to make it extra hot. The broth is always good and flavorful. The pricing here is pretty decent. Their bowls of soups are about $7 and dishes are about $10-$20. As for service, it has always been excellent. They are always very flexible and always try to please us. The inside of this place is pretty spacious. It has a see-through wall to the casino. The open feeling gives it a casual feeling. They open either 24 hours or are open very late. We normally come here late at night.
