Bamboo Locksmith - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Pleasant Hill, California

Arrogant, brash, and incredibly expensive. Aggressively hounded me after I decided to use an alternative vendor. I would look elsewhere, the owner was difficult to deal with and ckept my calling me. Not a great locksmith option. read more

I phoned around 10 AM on a Friday (Halloween!) morning, thinking I'd need to be scheduling for next week. I was happily surprised when Batyr said he'd be able to be there that afternoon. He was very efficient, competent, and pleasant, in every aspect from the original phone contact on. He explained things about the interior doorknob he was replacing and about the replacement process in a way that was both interesting and easily understandable (including that the process would cost less than it might have because of the hole already there for the previous doorknob). Batyr is clearly very knowledgeable in general, professional, and comfortable to deal wi.th. read more

Bamboo Locksmith is amazing! I lost my new house keys and yes locked myself out. I called Bamboo Locksmith and they were able to schedule someone to come out when it worked for me! I was astounded by their level of care, compassion, and professionalism! The price was very fair and honestly with the services provided, I would have paid more! I cannot thank you enough for being there to help me in my time of need! Fingers crossed I don't lose my keys again or lock myself out but if I do, I will always call Bamboo locksmith!! read more

A great resource for the area. Friendly and very reasonable service. Clearly, he knows his business. Recommended without reservation.

We have called Batyr several times since we moved here. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and respectful. More importantly, if you have a complex problem to deal with he is definitely the locksmith to call. We have never had to wait more than a couple of hours for him to come. And always when he said he would. Thank you for helping us today read more

They help me for my 2008 Chrysler Sebring's key . Excellent work! Very professional and fast service with great price. Thank you so much!!

Very fast, efficient, excellent customer service. It is nice having a good locksmith in the neighborhood. Thank you!

I appreciate the efficiency and professionalism from this master locksmith. He contacted me through Yelp after I put in a request with his estimate and came at his next available appointment time the same day. He was prompt and completed what we needed in a timely manner. We lost the keys for our Toyota Camry and he was able to rekey it with a fob that unlocks the doors and the trunk as well as start the car! I would highly recommend Bamboo locksmith and will use them again in a heartbeat if I need their services. Thank you! read more

Bamboo Lock services installed my door locks with key pads over a year ago. I recently tried to use the key pad and it did not function properly. I called the owner of Bamboo Lock Services and he indicated that it might need a new battery. I sent him a picture of my door and lock pad and he offered to walk me through installing a new battery, no charge. Two days later the key pad was again working properly. Before I could call him he sent me a text asking if my key pad was working. I said I was still having problems and would he be available to come out tomorrow. He said he could come out now, Sunday, and check to see what he could do to fix the issue. It turned out the battery I installed, with his direction, was almost dead. He installed a new battery and made an adjustment to the door jam to enable the door to more easily close. I offered to compensate him for his time and coming out on a Sunday, he said, "no charge". It is obvious that Bamboo Lock values their customers. read more

Very quick to respond and a very efficient and professional locksmith. He was able to quickly re-key what I needed for a reasonable price.

They came out very quickly and he went above and beyond to help me even though the problem wasn't why he originally came out. He was knowledgeable and I am so glad I called him out. read more

Allows him on a Saturday morning and he was there by lunch. Awesome!!! I had an antique bar that had skeleton key locks and he was able to get em open in 5 min. And sold me the key so I could do it myself and not have to put a new lock on. read more

Accidentally locked the keys in our car (first time ever) and had no way of getting in. It was a Friday night and Batyr the owner, answered and was finishing a job in Palo Alto. He said it would probably take an hour to get to us in Walnut Creek so we decided to wait since 2 other places didn't answer even though they claimed they were 24/7. He actually arrived in 40 mins and opened up the car in less than 5 mins. Seriously what a life saver! Thanks for the professional services and his price was actually cheaper than if we used our insurance roadside services. Great work Batyr and would recommend to anyone in need of locksmith services. read more

Fantastic fast service for a good price! Came right over to house in Walnut Creek even though it was after 5pm.

The best. He has helped us out several times. Prices are reasonable and he's a very honest man. Highly recommend.

Quick to respond. Friendly and courteous. What I most appreciated was responding so quickly to the repair of my front door lock.

These guys are total life savers! When no one else was available to help me get into my office, Bamboo Locksmiths came through for me, and in record time! Excellent customer service, especially considering how late it was. Thank you ! read more

Good customer service very prompt. I would highly recommend. The guy that came out was very professional. And he also fixed a lock that was damaged prior that I was not aware of. read more

Batyr is more than a locksmith; he is a miracle worker. We have a very old, custom made front door with a doorknob that would not stay on. Several other locksmiths have attempted to fix it with no success. One locksmith in the past told us that the entire door would need to be replaced. Another said it was impossible to fix and refused to look at it. Batyr patiently took the doorknob assembly apart and crafted a solution. He spent two and a half hours doing this and charged only his standard rate. His rate was very reasonable, the doorknob is working again, and the old, custom made doors are once again as functional as they are beautiful. read more

Bamboo Locksmith Services is amazing!! This week, my 2 year old daughter unintentionally locked me onto our back patio - and of course our front door was locked too and I didn't have keys on me! I called Bamboo Locksmiths and the nicest gentleman answered. I told him my situation, trying to keep calm that my sweet baby was inside the house without me (it was also very hot outside and I am 9 months pregnant) - and he assured me he would be on the way immediately. Sure enough, he was right there with me 15 minutes later, and within just a couple of minutes I had my little girl in my arms again. Batyr was professional, skilled, and so kind. I appreciated the quick and friendly service. Definitely call him first when you are in need!! read more

Thank you Batyr for helping me with the difficult and expensive task of programming the car key. This was clearly an atypical task given that the car was very new, but thanks to the diligence and professionalism of the locksmith it was finally done. I had the locks in my new house rekeyed. Batyr, the owner, showed up and was very helpful and knowledgeable. He extended himself by calling a colleague on a type of service that he normally does not cover, which I very much appreciated. I was locked out of my house and am so glad that I found Bamboo Locksmith Services! Batyr came by quickly and helped me get into my house. I highly recommend them! read more

My review is a bit late but better late than never. The service was prompt, fast, and professional. I wasn't charged an arm and a leg for the re-keying of a basic lock. The pricing was extremely fair. The locksmith even went out of his way to replace a few screws that he deemed loose, which any additional charge. Also, he tried to fix this weird known thing with the lock because it was old but it was awesome that he told me about it and attempted to fix it. The locksmith was awesome and I would highly recommend his services. read more

I am very pleased with the job Batyr has done for us. He was very prompt and I liked the fact that he offered to fix a broken old door knob first instead of offering to replace the entire entrance door set. I told him that I would prefer to replace the old set, but did not want to buy a new one myself as I was not sure how to figure the right size, so he instantly said he would be fine with taking measures and going to Home Depot to bring one for me. We ended up installing a nice new set he had with him. Happy with the quality and saved time. read more
