If it weren't for the service, I would've given this place a solid 5 star review. Let's start with the food - their complimentary bread (like really thick bread sticks) was really good especially when paired with their whipped garlic butter. I couldn't get enough. For the entrée, I got their "fresh homemade pasta" with fettuccine and basilico sauce (sauce with southern olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, and garlic) and added chicken to my dish. The noodles were nicely cooked with balanced flavors from garlic, basil, and sundried tomatoes. However, I felt like they put a bit too much olive oil, but it wasn't a big deal as I could just not eat the excess oil and leave it on my plate. The chicken was pretty standard but it had nice grilled/charred marks. The inside of the restaurant was nice and clean although not looking overly fancy. The tables and seats were super standard. The service was unfortunately just meh at best. Our waitress didn't come back to offer refills of my water, and she was very difficult to flag. I mean, don't get me wrong, she wasn't just lounging and not doing anything - she was definitely working but I wish she had looked in our direction every now and then to check on us. It was getting to a point where the customers at my neighboring table started to get antsy and raise their hands multiple times to flag her. ok ive been coming to bambinos for years now and the food has never disappointed me it is always great and the customer service is also great but this last visit i tried the expresso martini and let me tell you that it was beyond good! i see why they boast the award winning on the menu. the only complaint i had was that the restaurant was uncomfortably hot inside they definitely need to crank the ac up i was sweating inside. non the less i will be back for their delicious food and great drinks i will definitely be exploring the rest of the drink menu. read more

I used to go here monthly to hear one of the best musicians in the area play which made the trip out to that part of Concord worth it. I would get a table right up front. Each time, I had to put up with a wait time of over an hour to get a medium size pizza because the service was always so slow. I no longer go there after witnessing how poorly the owner and music /event coordinator treated the musician. There is no integrity anymore in dealing with them. That said, I've been in twice since the new owner took over, and I was a little surprised by the change in vibe. The previous owner made it a point to walk around, say hello, and genuinely connect with customers. That kind of personal touch is what made this place feel like home. On both visits under the new ownership, the restaurant wasn't busy, but the new owner stayed in the back and didn't come out to greet anyone. It felt noticeably different like the connection to the community was missing. This is a neighborhood spot, and the people who walk through those doors want to feel seen and appreciated. I hope the new owner reads this and sees the opportunity to carry on that tradition. That small gesture of simply saying hello can go a long way in keeping loyal customers coming back. I don't know I what's going on at Bambinos It was a party of 8 adults. Three Pizzas had been ordered and when my wife and I showed up, our waiter was reluctant in taking our order. He even told us that our order was going to take 45 minutes, which we were OK with since we were with our friends. Our friends got their food (the three Pizzas) and since we were under the impression that our order was going to take a little longer we didn't pay much attention to our order. But as our party was wrapping up their meals, we asked our waiter if our order was on the way. He was so confused of what we were saying like we were speaking a foreign language , and, to top it off he made us feel stupid thinking that we had not ordered a single thing! Later he confessed that our order was never put in and that it would only take "10 minutes to cook". NO THANK YOU!!! To Bambino's management, what are you doing? This place is great! This is only my second time coming here but my first experience was so good I had to come back with my kids. We came during Saturday lunch time for pizza. We were seated immediately. My kids were presented with coloring books, which is always a plus! We ordered an extra large pepperoni pizza. When it was delivered, it was piping hot! Service is horrible. First time I went - we had a large group but we did call ahead and ensured that we could have our party there. After an hour and half, few of us didn't have any food still. Second time it was just my boyfriend and my daughter and me, service was still horrible. Waited a while to get menus. We asked for a box and they never brought it and never came back to check on us. I have been to this establishment since 2019. It had good pricing and quality of the food especially their pasta and pizza was great . Never had a complaint. She was no where to be seen after 20 minutes , I saw her and a few others in the bar area chopping it up with the guests at the bar , but never made eye contact with us . 5 more minutes came by and an asian waiter came by and said if our waitress helped us . We said not yet He said something along the lines of our waitress got busy and it was a bit of walk for her to get from one end to the other . So , he will take our order . I just let it go, and didn't tell him we just saw her in front of us behind the bar. I gave him our order . He worked the other side of restaurant that is non bar. Our table was the only table he waited on , on the side of the bar .As we waited for our food I see that she was working the bar and at the same time working the tables near the bar area where we were sitting but her and another waitress ( both white ) avoided our table . I thought it was odd and disrespectful , she finally came by just to pick up our plate at the end of our meal thought out the 2 hours we spent there , she and the other waitress did not stop to see if we needed anything . It was that young asian kid who only waited on our table on the bar side while he also had the other non bar tables to wait on . Why did they avoid us beats me. I also ordered an espresso and it came watery and cold . Not sure who made that espresso , but that was the last straw . It was horrible experience and wont be returning . Their wings are fire , aaaand they were having a $20 bottomless mimosa special.. Yesterday I came in and I was served by Lina & had a fantastic experience. I wasn't really sure what I wanted to drink but I knew I wanted it to be tequila, Lina concocted a delicious cocktail. I was blown away by her service and personality. Since the new owner took over, it seems the food prices have gone up and the quality of the food has gone down. Chicken marsala used to be my favorite item but the last two times I have ordered it the chicken has been tough. We actually had to send back our chicken Parmesan once recently because it was tough as well. Last night we were there, and my chicken tenders were subpar and the ranch dressing I was served was watery with bubbles and looked like it was old. Highly recommended. Best place in town to get Italian style food. Pastas, Pizzas, Salads, Sandwiches, they have it all. Very cozy, clean and well maintained. It still has the character of a sports bar, but much better managed. Staff is very friendly and polite. I noticed that some guest complain on Yelp about the wait times and such. Bunch of nonsense.
