It's been by necessity since Teeter won't take my insurance, and CVS left the neighborhood. The staff is rude, and I've had issues with one of my prescriptions multiple times over the last few months. Although the pharmacist has been nicer about trying to help me, it's only after I call that I even know there's an issue. Several times, they haven't bothered to call me to tell me that they were having problems getting my prescription. I had to go there after the horrible storm we had a few months ago, and now I need to go out of my way to pick up my prescription today b/c it took them so long to get it, and they won't deliver it today. I need it today, so delivery tomorrow does me no good. While I like to support a local small pharmacy, I strongly recommend that you DO NOT USE THEM!!!

I took a chance but I definitely have no regrets. I walked into the Ruxton Pharmacy this morning to pick up a prescription and to possibly refill another. What could have taken an hour at CVS took me 5 minutes at Ruxton Pharmacy. There was no one in line, the phones were not ringing off the hooks. The gentleman who helped me was kind and personable. Bonus points: The prices I paid were at least 25% cheaper than CVS or Walgreens. They also have an A-mazing greeting card selection which I will take advantage of the next time I return. Thank you so much, Ruxton Pharmacy in Ruxton, for providing just what I needed-- quality customer service and prices.

Joe will be deeply missed by not just me and my family but by all the families who encountered Joe at Park Avenue Pharmacy. The Libercci family has the Sweeley family's deepest condolences.

I would avoid this store like the plague. Arbitrary rules about whether they will fill a…read moreprescription (in my case, they wouldn't fill my prescription because my doctor stopped a pair of medicines and Lisa, the not-so-kind pharmacist, did not accept this fact and refused to fill my legitimate prescription from the large dr.s office in the same shopping center. I had filled this prescription there for years.). Lisa made me wait for 45 minutes just to make the decision she was unwilling to fill the script. Don't waste Your time. I have had no problem filling my prescription anywhere else. I know nature are was caught distributing illegal prescriptions under the table, so I suppose as part of their reformation, they are more strict, however, when someone presents the same prescription years and years, consistently each month - that should say something (besides the fact the prescription was from an office in the same block with easy verification.). Classic case of an activist pharmacist who gets off on their little bit of power. (Just as background; I am a director at a highly regarded educational institution, have no history of medication diversion, and have seen the same doctor for over a decade. NOT exactly signs of a worrisome situation.). Avoid this judgmental person if you know what's good for you.

A.B. Naturecare Pharmacy on Baltimore National Pike is…read morehorrible! I can't get my prescriptions in a timely manner. I have been going to that pharmacy for literally decades, but since it has changed ownership, the pharmacist has been rude, and I have been having trouble getting prescriptions filled. For example, I asked for a prescription to be transferred and delivered three days ago. They called me today around 11am and told me that my prescription was ready. I reminded them that I asked for the prescription to be delivered. They claim they tried to call me two days ago. I know that they didn't, because the call was not listed on my phone's call log. In addition, I wanted to know why they were calling me when I had already arranged for them to deliver the prescription, why wasn't it just delivered? To add insult to injury, they then told me that the delivery driver had already left and that they would not be able to deliver it until Monday. This is pain medication! When I spoke to the pharmacist who said his name was Muhammad, first, he said he was the manager. When I asked to speak to the owner, he then said he was the owner. When I informed him that I had been getting my family's prescriptions there for years and that I was considering going to another pharmacy and filing a complaint because of the consistent poor service since he took over, he very rudely said "go ahead". Then after I hung up, someone for the pharmacy called me to tell me my prescription was ready. I asked who was the manager? He wanted to know why I wanted to know and then he hung up. I am sick, and I am in pain, and I do not need to go through this extra stress. Treating patients like this is unacceptable and unprofessional, and I will be filing a complaint.

Between the phenomenal liquor selection, full pharmacy services, and the hidden Fountain lunch counter in the back, it is the ultimate one stop shop. This is my absolute go to liquor store in Maryland. It is a true bourbon destination that has rightfully been featured on several bourbon YouTube channels. They are known for their excellent selection of whiskey, consistently landing rare allocations while maintaining some of the best pricing in the area. I make it a point to stop by every single week because their inventory is always changing and you never know what you might find on the shelves. They also run a very generous rewards program. It allows you to bank your points over time so you can eventually use them to purchase high end, rare bottles at MSRP dealer prices, which is a massive perk for enthusiasts. Outside of the liquor store portion, the rest of the business is great too. The pharmacy side is fully stocked with unique Maryland specific items, and they have a highly capable, helpful staff behind the pharmacy counter. As I have written in my review of their hidden speakeasy style lunch counter in the back, The Fountain, it is an absolute gem for lunch, a bourbon bar, and an ice cream destination. If you want to experience a truly unique and perfect one stop shop, this place is it.

We came for the liquor store, but stayed for lunch at their soda fountain/lunch counter in the back of the store. They have a good selection of whiskey with very good prices. I really enjoyed my chicken dumpling daily soup special at the soda fountain, but the star of the show was my chocolate peanut butter milkshake. The food in there is simple lunch fare but you cannot beat the prices. they have a long list of seasonings you can add to your potato chips that I want to come back and try more of.
