Every time I have been here in the store, I have had great service. I just wanted to rebut the bad reviews on here with some education about helium. I am not associated with Balloon Magic at all, I just know helium. One poster said they took a large sphere balloon in to be filled. If it was a 3 foot large sphere, those hold 15 cubic feet of Helium when filled to 3 feet. I don't think that $40 is outrageous. If you go to one of the big box stores and get one of those balloon time tanks, they run $35 to $45 depending on where you get it from. It holds 14.9 cubic feet of helium, so it would only do one of these balloons per tank. And there is also the cost of them doing it for you. Most grocery stores do not carry these, so the gal that did it for less probably had no idea how much of her employers money she just gave away. The best to do in these situations is to know how much helium it takes first, then you can ask how much a fill costs for that size of a balloon. If you get it filled to only 2 1/5 feet, it only takes 8 cubic feet of helium. so about half of that helium is in the last 6 inches. Crazy I know, but that is the math. It is a sphere, not flat on 2 sides. Sorry this is so long, but I have been seeing other reviews like this out there. These spheres are super popular, but people do not have a clue how much helium goes in when filled to full capacity. read more

Helium is really expensive and I've noticed how much Party City charges less. But Balloon Magic has quality balloons, when I went in for the first time I could really tell they choose the quality of the balloons over ripping people of with crappy ones. When I went in they explained to me how a normal sized mylar is $3 and anything bigger they just take the normal sized and multiple the size until they get the size of the larger one, thus getting the price they use for the larger balloons. The employees at Balloon Magic have a great sense of humor and are very insightful about color, quality, and more. They were very helpful and their balloons lasted 2X as long as the ones I usually got from Party City. Also $1 9" helium filled balloons? What a good deal! If you're considering coming here just buy from their stock it's the same price as bring your own and most definitely better quality! read more

This place has everything! I stop in every time before a birthday party to get helium filled latex balloons for just $1! They have costumes that can make a party 10x more festive. Balloon Magic has telegrams that you can send to embarrass the crap out of your friends and family while they're at work, home or a party. My favorites are the gorilla and Gramps the "worlds oldest stripper"(but there are more). Whenever I'm in the store, I look through the scrapbooks of amazing balloon art they've done at grocery stores, weddings, picnics and marathons. Whether it's an arch or a huge bundle of grapes, their creativity and the fact that it's even possible always leaves me in awe! This "business" is a scam!!! Do not spend your money here. I have nothing positive to say about this place. They took advantage of another business being out of helium; rather than helping out their customers, they chose to take advantage of the situation and rip me off. In addition, when inflating my balloons, the owner popped one of my balloons and did not offer to replace or discount me in any way. Not to mention, the place is a dump and very, very unclean and unprofessional. I will never step foot in their store again, nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. read more

Had great service and wonderful ideas to make my party perfect. i went in to get some regular balloons, which were cheaper than the chain store down the street, but they also fun original art on display that really got people's attention at my party. I had several people compliment me on how original my party decor was. To top it all off I have never had balloons last so long. I had my party a month ago and they are still like the day I bought them. read more
