I ordered a…read moreDemi arch from them for a baby shower for $72 (and was charged $90, more on that later) thinking I would be getting something similar to what was pictured on their website. Imagine my surprise when I got the pathetic little "arch" pictured. The owner, Elizabeth, told me that the arch would sit on a table, go to the ceiling and naturally curve on to the ceiling. I paid a $10 delivery fee because I didn't think it would fit in my vehicle (spoiler alert: it would) and she told me she would drop it off herself and get it set up. A man showed up at the venue, handed it to me and said, "I believe you're waiting for this," and walked out. I emailed a pic of what I ordered and what I got to the owner yesterday. My refund? $13. Wow. She then called me up apologizing and giving me every excuse in the book (including COVID has really been a struggle for them - who hasn't it been a struggle for?) and apologizing that I wasn't happy and didn't understand why I was unhappy because I got exactly what I ordered. I also asked why I got charge $90 and it was an additional $10 for delivery and an additional $5 because I wanted it between 10-11!!! I was never told of the additional $5 charge and don't feel the time frame necessitated it. Another interesting fact - the pics of the balloon arch I ordered were immediately removed from their website and replaced with another, smaller arch for $90!!! Tells me the owner knew I did NOT get what I ordered. Reading the other reviews out here - I agree. These people will price gouge you to get as much out of you as they can. It's a shame.

It's not like we were asking to have the blimp filled! When he came home and told me what they charged, I called to question the charge, stating that the original balloon to purchase from a national party store chain was only $25 for both. I was told to go back there next time. That's exactly what we will do! I will never again spend a dollar at Balloon Magic. Price gouging to say the least. Wow!

He sings (Piano Man is a must!) and dances like no other...and when I say sing, I mean his voice is truly phenomenal! Tim took the extra time to get to know us and our music preferences prior to our big day. He also made great suggestions about how to structure our reception timeline based on his previous experiences and the setup of our venue, which was very helpful. Our dance floor was full the entire night and our guests could not stop raving about him. My husband and I highly recommend Tim from Dorsey Entertainment for anyone in the greater Fox Valley Area looking for a fantastic entertainer!

I arrived to my appointment at the GB location, and there were no other customers there at the time. The sales associate made me feel like a nuisance. She told me to look around while she put my dress in the dressing room. I went to go try on the dress--it was the WRONG size by FOUR sizes (I'm a size 22 NOT a 12) and completely wrong color. I asked the sales associate what the problem was, and she just rudely replies "that's the only one we have." I just drove 40 mins to get to this appointment on time and I was incredibly disappointed.
