I had later decided on another dress and figured no biggie, i would just sell this dress, after all it had never been worn. Here's the upsetting part. They REMOVED all tags at purchase. I did not realize that at the time, as they took the dress and bagged it out of my site. Now I had no proof this dress was brand new. I also figured out I paid more for the dress than the original tag price from the designer. Very frustrating experience.

After finding a…read moredress I loved in another bridal shop over an hour away from Victorian Bridal, I called around to bridal stores all over the state to see what their ship times and prices looked like for my dress. After calling all over the state of WI and norther IL, Victorian Bridal offered me the best price and quickest shipping for my bridal gown. They even offered a discount on my veil as part of a promotion. When my dress arrived a few months later, I went to my first appointment at VB for a fitting. The building is very unassuming, but trust me when I say this is a store of true professionals. I had my dress altered at VB, and subsequently came back three more times (driving all the way from Chicago where I live). Their staff is courteous, professional, and reasonably priced. In the end, my bridal gown fit me perfectly after their expert alterations! I highly recommend VB if you live anywhere in the Central WI area. Even if you don't it's worth the trip!

When I talked to the…read moreconsultant and gave her my measurements, I specifically told her my wedding dress (worn earlier that year) was a size 2. She insisted that I was a size 4 and that the dress would fit fine. When I received the dress in the mail 6 months later, it was HUGE. When I called to see if the dress could be exchanged, the company was not willing to work with me at all and told me to get it altered. Now I'm looking at having to spend an extra $150 dollars on a $200 dress because the consultant insisted I was wrong about my size. Extremely unhappy with this company, disappointed with their customer service, and would highly, highly recommend you go with anyone else.
