They are mainly a comic book shop but they also have lots of collectibles, books, graphic novels, t-shirts, some costumes, and other geeky knickknacks. It is a fairly large shop for being in downtown Oshkosh. The prices are what you would expect at a local comic book shop. They also currently have an amazing collection of Pops for sale but that wont be up for long. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They take part in Free Comic Book day every May. If you are looking for a place to get comic books and collectibles you should make it House of Heroes.

It was late and most everything was closed, but this place looked so cool we came back the next morning. I am so glad we did, what an amazing place, to call it just a store is not giving it its proper due. This is the coolest collectable/toy store I have ever seen. It will be a regular stop when we are anywhere near here. It's part museum and part collector's wet dream. Rows and rows and pegs of figures of every era and genre. I could have spent a lot of money here, and to that the prices are pretty reasonable. If you know anyone who's into pop culture or toys or action figures...wanna be a hero, take them here. Freaktoyz is an absolute gem in Sheboygan featuring near everything the average person could think of in the toy, collectible gaming, and retro-video game worlds. If you are looking for that elusive figure for He-man, TMNT, GI Joe, Pokemon, pick your winner, this could very well be your place. I could have wandered this store for hours and easily emptied my wallet. Worth the stop even just to experience the place, and they definitely have their merch game down. As far as prices go, you may want to shop around the web a little, but most seem to be right around average collectible prices and even if it is a dollar or two more you get to walk out with it in hand. I found that this store has some thing for everyone. My husband found the play mat that he had been looking for for ages. And said that the price was really reasonable. I found a travel Boggle game for our daughter to play in the camper. This shop truly has something for everyone from the casual board game or like me, to the super-intense Magic the Gathering person like my husband. My husband said that the prices and selection were very good. He wants to come back sometime in the future. He also looked through their collection of individual cards, and found a few that he had been missing. They also have a nice area for people to be able to play games against one another. It looked comfortable and like a great location to hang out. I highly recommend checking out this store.
