I was on a quest for comic book havens in the valley, having relocated from sunny Florida. I've seen my fair share of comic book lairs, and this one just didn't make the cut. Felt more like an extra in a scene than the star of the show. Guess my cape didn't quite fit their mold. ‍

They also currently have an amazing collection of Pops for sale but that wont be up for long. The staff is also very knowledgeable and friendly. They take part in Free Comic Book day every May. Freaktoyz is an absolute gem in Sheboygan featuring near everything the average person could think of in the toy, collectible gaming, and retro-video game worlds. If you are looking for that elusive figure for He-man, TMNT, GI Joe, Pokemon, pick your winner, this could very well be your place. I could have wandered this store for hours and easily emptied my wallet. Worth the stop even just to experience the place, and they definitely have their merch game down. As far as prices go, you may want to shop around the web a little, but most seem to be right around average collectible prices and even if it is a dollar or two more you get to walk out with it in hand. Awesome store. Will return and send ALL my friends AND YOU!

It was late and most everything was closed, but this place looked so cool we came back the next morning. I am so glad we did, what an amazing place, to call it just a store is not giving it its proper due. This is the coolest collectable/toy store I have ever seen. It will be a regular stop when we are anywhere near here. It's part museum and part collector's wet dream. Rows and rows and pegs of figures of every era and genre. I could have spent a lot of money here, and to that the prices are pretty reasonable. If you know anyone who's into pop culture or toys or action figures...wanna be a hero, take them here. It's worth a road trip....trust me! Amazing store, nice people, a true treasure.

We were greeted right away by who I presume was Margaret. She was very friendly. Huge selection of items new, used and local. Definitely something for everyone here. While paying we got to talking about the supernatural (a local ghost hunting group has their business card on display at OtherWorld Books which prompted the conversation) and David explained to us the 'haunted' history of the building itself. Very interesting. I think it even creeped my husband out a little. :) Definitely recommend patronizing this kitschy shop while you're in the downtown area. Shop local.

I found a travel Boggle game for our daughter to play in the camper. This shop truly has something for everyone from the casual board game or like me, to the super-intense Magic the Gathering person like my husband. My husband said that the prices and selection were very good. He wants to come back sometime in the future. He also looked through their collection of individual cards, and found a few that he had been missing. They also have a nice area for people to be able to play games against one another. It looked comfortable and like a great location to hang out. I highly recommend checking out this store.
