    Watermelon Mint
    Tracy B.

I was walking around and came across this wonderful brewery. I tried the Watermelon Mint. And OMG was it refreshing. It had a minty taste with a sweet after taste. It was delicious. To bad they don't sell it to go as it's a visiting beer. I will definitely come back.

Great place to stop by before the Warriors game for food and drinks. Lots of great selections here, but you won't find the entire classic Ballast Point beers or experimental menu items at this location. Good happy hour for food and drinks. The burger was delicious and they were able to cut it in half for us in the kitchen. The garlic Parmesan fries are tasty with a huge portion and plenty of garlic. Don't expect to kiss anyone after having the garlic Parmesan fries haha. Lots of seating, but not enough servers. Hard to track someone down sometimes to place more orders, but it's much easier from the bar seating.

Good food, good beer, good fun with trivia nights! The ambiance is a little basic and the service is a little untraditional but it works well for what it is. Beer prices are good but the food is a little pricer than I'd expect. Still very good for after work with friends.

A solid spot for beers and food. We also did trivia and it was a lot of fun. The competition is FIERCE! We got the fish tacos and cheese curds and a few beers. Everything tasted great! Definitely a good spot to meet up with friends.

Great brewery if you want to eat before the warriors game. The food is delicious and affordable. Happy hour had a lot of options. The serving size of the fries were also huge. Fries were crispy, fresh and flavorful with lots of garlic and parm. I will definitely be back for burger, fries and a beer.

    The dry chicken wings :(

Expectations were high, given that I've been here before. The ambiance is nice, but the food was a miss. While I did enjoy the beet salad, the side of chicken breast that I added for $7 was lacking. It was about 6 small chunks of chicken and burnt. The lemon pepper chicken wings were small and dry. No sauce was offered, and no sauce came in the to-go bag. Ranch would have helped the dryness. A disappointing dinner which cost over $40. :(

This brewery was fantastic! I love to check out as many local breweries as I can while traveling so I had to make my way over. The food was delicious and the beers were just as tasty. I wish I had taken pictures of all my food. We had pretzel bites with cheese, cheese curds, kale Ceaser salad, and the bbq bacon burger. All of the food was so good, and the staff very nice. We were there midday on a Monday so it was rather empty but it was a beautiful space! I'll be stopping on back next time I'm in town

Great location next to Chase and medical buildings, super friendly staff and most importantly delicious beer.

We went early so it wasn't too busy yet. Very spacious place, great for people that need the extra room for accessibility. Travis was great! Service was quick and the food was nice for a quick bite. Pretzel bites were delicious but for the price more bites would be much appreciated. Lots of options for beers on tap or cans if you prefer. They don't just offer beer and have a variety of wines, a couple hard seltzers and a cider. Menu also offers kids meals and non- alcoholic drinks. Definitely recommend stopping by if your in the area, great for larger groups, families or even just by yourself.

    Pumpkin spice churros
    Jeanie N.

Pros: - huge space - not too loud - food and drinks come out quickly - toast tab ordering system makes it convenient to pay in group settings - EXCELLENT seasoned french fries. I don't know what batter they use, but my god is it good Cons: - the pumpkin spice churro lacks pumpkin spice flavor and is more reminiscent of taco bell cinnamon twists than an actual churro. The apple butter it is served with is cold and tasty on its own, but makes for an unsuccessful pairing imo - only one puny container of ketchup is served with the fries, and we couldn't flag down a waiter to ask for more - the bathrooms were a little messy. Not gross, but not clean either. One of the soap dispensers was broken and there was tp on the ground - unsure if the water area with pitchers was self-serve, but no one will stop by your table unless they're dropping off your order

Affordable food and drinks especially during happy hour. The sage fries were crispy and flavorful!

Parking is a challenge in Noe Valley so it took us a few minutes to find a spot on the street approx a block away. We were warmly greeted on arrival at the restaurant by Mariana - the charming hostess, & led to our table at the far end of the restaurant. The space is not too big so the tables are strategically arranged, making it a little narrow squeeze navigating between tables when people are seated. The decor is lovely & the place has a very pleasant ambiance. Our server Marley - a friendly young man who was very accommodating of all our requests. We were presented with complimentary warm delicious bread rolls & butter. We ordered the momos, which we had read all about on the Yelp reviews, & they certainly didn't disappoint. The sauce that accompanied the momos was so delectable, I had to request for another serving of bread to sop it all up! We also ordered the charred brussel sprouts & toasted grape salad and the gems of California beets salad - both were beautifully presented & combined a delicious blend of flavors. The food was amazing, the service attentive! We didn't want to have too big of a meal since we were heading to a show at the Herbst Theatre after dinner so we didn't order entrees or desserts. We plan to go back again soon. I would recommend trying out this neighborhood gem.

The format is a fixed daily menu with two choices per course across four courses. I went with the cured salmon salad, gulf shrimp risotto, seared branzino, and milk chocolate panna cotta. A heads up: portions are on the smaller side, but that's by design -- this is a meal meant to be savored, not rushed. Lean into it. Service was attentive and polished from start to finish, exactly what you'd hope for at this level. If a business dinner is what it takes to discover a gem like this, book more business dinners.

It seems like this place is an asian fusion brunch place incorporating french dishes into thai/asian themed dishes which is up our alley. We made a reservation at 1:45 PM and we had to wait for about an extra 30 minutes before getting seated. Initially, I wanted to try their crab fried rice but unfortunately they were out of crab. We decided to get the Alcatraz Escape and the Brioche french toast which were recommended by the wait staff. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating but I can tell they were swamped and stressed out with all the people they were trying to serve. The food itself tasted decent, the Alcatraz Escape had a tasty flavor which incorporates tom yum paste (sweet, sour, tangy flavor) into their scramble with about 4 shrimps. The side of crispy chicken was good but nothing that stood out to us. The brioche was soft but there wasn't much flavoring besides the fruits and caramelized banana. It was served with evaporated milk which made the brioche soft but not adding much flavor to it. The price however was quite pricey. For two dishes as a side we paid around $78 with tax and tip.

The produce is sourced from a tight network of local farms. But it's not as exceptional as it used to be. The San Francisco burger scene has caught up, and Nopa's burger has lost its specialness...but that doesn't mean Nopa has. Nopa opened in 2006 inside a converted bank - high ceilings, a massive bar, a communal table, just - awesome vibes. From day one it became an industry restaurant - One of the few spots in the city where you could show up late night, order off a menu that changes daily, and know the food is going to be dialed in. They specialize in wood-fired cooking, which is why their thick cut, brined pork chop with baked beans is so popular - and...it's good, but their fried chicken is quickly becoming their best seller and THAT, was PERFECT. Crispy skin, juicy underneath, seasoned beautifully. But the dish that so perfectly encapsulates what Nopa is...was this salad. Just trout, and whatever was good at the farm that week. That's Nopa. A neighborhood kitchen, cooking what's in season, for the people who live down the street, on a menu that's always changing. Twenty years in, it's still full every night. I realized I had not added seating accommodation to my reservation and tried to call, but no one answered. When we arrived, the hostess told us we would not be able to sit in any of the currently empty booths because reservations were coming in later. We were seated at a table off the dining space near the kitchen, my mom was a little too chilly and the booth didn't have enough neck support. I expressed to the host that though I was sorry I had forgotten to add accommodation, that this was just not the way to handle the problem. I was able to speak to the manager, who had been outside taking orders and was clearly working very hard that day. (Her name is quite uncommon so I'm just going to call her M, but I really appreciate your help!) She asked me what my concern was, and I told her, at which point she asked me to wait nearby while she figured out if she could rearrange some tables for us. The bartender was incredibly kind and served me while I waited, and distracted me from imminent tears by sharing intricate details about each drink he was making. I learned do they have a myriad of health oriented cocktails, with ingredients like turmeric, ginger, and aloe liqueur. The manager returned and said that she had already seated my mother in a new space and escorted me to the table, which allowed me to relax and enjoy the meal. At the beginning of the menu, they list the ingredients that are currently in season, and at the back of the menu, there is a color wheel, telling you the benefits of the colors of food. (Purple foods can assist with memory and brain function!). We ordered the asparagus, which was in season, spicy cucumber, and the Aji grill for two. The tofu that came with the grill for two was my favorite thing that we ate. I think you can judge a vegan / vegetarian restaurant by their treatment of tofu. Perfectly seasoned with a crispy outside and I would come back just for this. The cauliflower steak was also pretty tasty. The cocktails are excellent, we tried the BLACKPINK and my mother tried the espressotini and we were really happy with both. I don't know how popular their bar scene is, but I imagine it would be a nice way to meet other vegan and vegetarian folks over light bites. Our waiter Daniel made sure to give us the Mother's Day special dessert the restaurant had created, which was an avocado Grenache with fresh berries. If the experience had started with less stress, this review would be five stars, but I'm very grateful to the staff for doing what they could to correct it and ensure that we had a great Mother's Day! I would love to visit again and update my review :)
