This is my second time visiting this place. The first time, I didn't buy anything because there were too many people. I really liked it; they have a wide variety of pastries. The whole place looks very clean, and the employees are very friendly. We ordered coffee, which was very good. We also got a mango custard, which was delicious--I already want to go back to get another one.

I adore this place! As a baker myself i always appreciate tasting and seeing the unique creations from different places around the world. As soon as you walk in everything looks absolutely beautiful and inviting. The selection is amazing, with so many unique pastries and treats to choose from. Everything we tried was fresh, light, and perfectly balanced. They have sweet and savory pastries. They also provide a microwave if you want to stay and eat your pastry warm. They do have tables to sit at and you can bring your computer to get some work done or to just sit and read a book. The staff was friendly and helpful when making my boba tea selection. Next time i plan to try their tiramisu iced latte! If you're looking for high-quality, authentic baked goods, this spot is definitely worth a visit!

My favorite bakery in Gainesville! There are so many options for both sweet and savory buns. They're fresh, soft, and pillowy. They certainly satisfy my cravings for Asian style bread. My favorite item is their Pork Floss Cake. I was surprised to find this here because not many bakeries make this (I only know of one other one in New York, where I'm from). It's so fluffy with the perfect amount of cream. They've perfected the sweet and salty combo. I'm back in NY now, and I'm still thinking about that cake. They also have many other sliced and rolled cake flavors, a huge menu of boba and other beverages, cookies, pudding, and more. Highly recommend checking this place out:)

I was having dim sum right next door at yummy house and walked over to bakery 1908 and they had a lot of delicious bakery items to choose from then I saw a sign by the register that said if you leave a review you will get a free bun but I asked the girl at the register she said you have to buy something to get the bun free so I said I'll get the blueberry mousse cake and then get the hot dog bun free!

I stopped to get some Thai tea and it was so delicious! The 1908 signature was so refreshing! There's plenty of bakery items to choose from and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It's located inside of yummy house, my favorite spot in Gainesville. There's indoor and outdoor seating if you choose to stay and hang for a bit. The place is casual and easy to order to go as well. Definitely recommend trying it out.

Walking in immediately felt like home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is absolutely amazing. Their pastries taste just like the ones back home--not like the typical Asian pastries you find here. Every bite brings back wonderful memories. I live in Jacksonville, and I would gladly drive to Orlando or Gainesville just to eat here. It's definitely worth the trip, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, delicious food and pastries.

This place is great for anyone looking to try pastries and other treats. The variety here is amazing, and I suggest to take your time when visiting. I picked up a pineapple bun for my dad and the the matcha black sesame mochi bun that I saw being promoted on social media. There were some other pastries I wanted to try however, they were sold out for the day. The matcha bun was soft on the outside and had a prominent black sesame paste in the middle with mochi. It was good and different from their matcha bun. If you stop by, make sure you sign up for their rewards program as they have a happy hour from 4pm to close which is a great deal for someone who wants to try a variety of pastries and cakes.

It was my first time visiting Bakery 1908 and I recommend stopping by. They have many delicious pastries to choose from. I got the taro bubble tea and it was delicious. There's lot of seating if you want to dine in. I will be stopping by again in the future!

Bakery 1908 is a small chain bakery specializing in Asian breads, pastries, and coffee/tea. This Bakery 1908 shares a space with YH Dim Sum. The bakery offers all your usual suspects, like pork floss bread, cream breads, egg tarts, hot dog buns, and more. The space is smaller so the variety of breads is a bit less extensive than other locations, but they do rotate the flavors each day. All the breads and pastries we got were delicious! In the future, I would like to see some more vegetarian savory buns. The coffee latte with caramel and sesame latte were both great and came out fast. Half sweet for the sesame latte was perfect for me. The full sweet coffee was very sweet if you're into that! The cafe is decorated super cute and feels sanitary. The employee working the register, Michael, was fast and courteous. Tip: you can get a free bun if you sign up for their rewards and another if you leave a review. They also have buy 3 buns get 1 free from 4pm to close, excluding weekends and holidays.

I loved this place! The weather is currently nice enough to sit outside but they also have inside seating. I got a milk cheese bun and sweet cream cheese one to go with my coffee!

While my sister was visiting town she wanted to check out this bakery! We were glad we did! They had so many options of savory and sweet pastries. They also sell milk and fruit teas. It is self serve and you pay after you select your items. The checkout process was seamless and the service was good. The ambiance is that of a pastry shop. I got a pork bun and a pineapple pastry. The pork pastry was okay, I wish the pork was shredded and I noticed afterwards that there was a microwave I could have heated it up with which I think would have elevated the taste. The pineapple bun was my favorite! Not too sweet with pineapple pieces in the middle. My sister had a breakfast pastry which she said was good and reminded her of a crossaint and a cookies and cream roll which she liked. I had a strawberry matcha slush which was good and even though I got it half sweet it was still too sweet for me. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would like to go back to try other options!

They also have outdoor seating on the patio out front. Concord Coffee offers a nice selection of drinks with unique syrups, etc. Although I didn't order coffee this time, I would be willing to try it in the future! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Their pastry case is limited and I believe they get their baked goods from somewhere local. I wasn't sure what to get and the worker recommended any of their pastries, as opposed to their bagels, as they were delivered fresh today. I ended up ordering the cinnamon roll, she heated it up and that took about 5 minutes. The cinnamon roll itself wasn't anything super special. The dough reminded me more of that of a croissant due to its flakier consistency. The glaze on top was light and the cinnamon inside was underwhelming. I still didn't have a problem with it until I reached the center. I noticed the center wasn't fully heated up and even felt slightly cold. But my biggest issue was the fact that the dough in the center was very much raw. It was not cooked/baked through at all. Disappointing to say the least. I would not return for a pastry or baked good, as I believe you can find better ones around the area for a better price. But I would return to try the coffee. Overall, I think Concord Coffee is a super cute coffee shop located in midtown. The staff is really sweet and helpful as well. I thought the inside was clean and I appreciated the decor. With that that being said, I would stick to beverages as opposed to their food items. My cinnamon roll was anything but special, I feel like one from Publix would have left me more satisfied. By biggest issue was definitely the fact that it wasn't baked through and raw in the center. I will get around to trying their coffee at some point in the future.

Coffee Culture isn't into that bananas behavior either and that's why you should definitely stop by. The hours are incredible for that afternoon caffeine high need or an evening study sesh. The coffee isn't some grand level of masterful craft specialty coffee creation, but it's good and it's worth what you get and the flavors are always fun and seasonal. My boyfriend got a cappuccino with strawberry syrup but we didn't really taste the strawberry in his. Regardless, it was delicious. We also got one of their biscotti which seemed like they made in house but I'm not sure. It was yummy, but definitely was not a very traditional recipe. It tasted more like a short bread than a biscotti but still very yummy. We walked out to the food truck to get some vegan bites and they definitely met expectations. The crabby patty was delicious with a great texture, and my boyfriends patty melt was also super good. We shared a mac and cheese and honestly I was full before we even got to that. The Mac and cheese was great but did taste a lot like coconut so if you're not into that then maybe veer away. The ambience was a mixed bag. The initial shop that you order the coffee in had a very cozy vibe with great decor. If you walk past the patio into the overflow seating the vibe changes a ton. The decor felt very uncanny valley, back rooms, like very odd. I think they need to work on that side of the property a little bit and make it more cozy. Maybe it's a work in progress or maybe they like it that way, I'm not sure, but it wasn't the sort of vibe that made me want to stick around. Overall great experience though! Will be coming back & hopefully I can get seating in the main shop ;)

I came with a friend for dinner and we got food from the food truck, where all of the menu options are 100% plant-based. I got the mojo tacos and for my chosen protein I went with the fried fishless filet. The two tacos came on corn tortillas with pico de gallo, queso fresco, pickled red onion, mojo sauce, and lime. Each bite was so refreshing! The lime gave a citrus kick to the sweet pickled red onions. The fried fishless fish was tender and flaky like real white fish. I was thoroughly impressed with Curia and think it's one of the most unique places in Gainesville. Check it out!
