We dropped off our John Deere riding mower over a month ago and still haven't gotten it back fixed…read more We have dropped in personally and have been told numerous times that ours was next in line. I have also called and been told that we would receive a call back with an update. Today when I called they told me that when we dropped it off that they were over 2 weeks before they could even look at it. We were never told this. They have ordered at least 3 parts that we never got an estimate on. They just took it upon themselves that we would pay for it. I feel like they are pulling a bait and switch on us. Today I talked to the manager and he was very rude to me and told me that they don't have the time to return customer phone calls with updates on the repairs. He told me that they only have 3 technicians and over hundreds of machines to repair. Sounds to me like they need to hire more technicians and someone to call customers back with estimates and updates on when the repairs will be done. I just hope that we are not paying for labor hours on all of this.

While driving to Ogden to visit with our son at…read moreHill AFB, our diesel truck towing a 16,000 lb. fifth wheel trailer decided to act up, with what we thought were transmission issues. It happened to be Saturday afternoon of Labor Day weekend. We were able to "limp" in to our RV spot at Hill AFB Fam Camp and get set up. That evening I discovered that you could describe your problems on Yelp and that there were businesses who would contact you about the problem. I did this and Jensen Auto Service got back to me immediately, but said that they wouldn't be able to get to it for about a week and a half. I thanked them for their time via message and looked elsewhere. On Tuesday morning I got a call from them saying that if it wasn't a complete transmission replacement that they would be able to get to it that week. I "limped" the truck over to their shop and even though I didn't use the service, they offered to chauffer me around to get transportation while they worked on my truck. By midmorning on Wednesday, they had the problem diagnosed, and had a prospectus in my hands. I put them to work immediately and I picked up the truck on Friday afternoon. The cost was FAR less than I was expecting and they made sure to communicate all of the ins and outs of the replacement parts. They went so far as to make certain that I knew to contact them about warranty issues if I had to take it to a certified NAPA dealer with problems during the warranty period. They did a stem to stern inspection and brought up several issues that I would need to take care of when I got back home. What could have been absolutely disastrous turned out to be nothing more than a blip on the radar of life. This is a repair business that I wish I had in my area so that I could make them the permanent caretaker of my vehicles. If you need help, this is the place to go. If it was possible to give them six or seven stars, I would do it in a heartbeat.

I asked for an estimate they said they would call with that, I received a call from the tech saying they were going to replace the bar and chain, I told them NO, the tech said he would call back (never called back) I called them about a week later to find out the status of said chainsaw they stated they were waiting for the parts for the oiler and said it should be in about 4 days later, I again asked for an estimate they said they would call back with that estimate ( no call). I received a call today saying the saw was ready for pick up and the cost would be $166.28, I paid what they asked for and left. I will never take anything there for service again.
