I ordered the chocolate hazelnut crepe and my partner got the chocolate, banana, and almonds crepe. They were so good! Freshly made to order and piping hot. The owner was there making the crepes and he came and checked on us when he had time. He was super friendly and genuinely wanted to make sure we had a good time. The patio is super cute and cozy with lots of flowers and plants. They grow their own herbs too which I love! There's plenty of street parking that's free on weekends. No bathroom since it's just a cart but I'm sure there are bathrooms nearby. Would love to come back in the future!

The crepes are outstanding, truly on par with what you'd expect from a Michelin-star restaurant. Every ingredient is fresh, every plate is beautifully presented, and the attention to detail is remarkable. One of our favorite touches is the stunning flower garden surrounding the wagon. Michel personally tends many of the flowers, and they're often incorporated as beautiful edible garnishes, making each dish feel like a work of art. Michel's Corner is one of those rare places where exceptional food and heartfelt hospitality come together. It's a highlight of every trip to Durango, and we can't recommend it highly enough.

Then I sat there for another 10 minutes and nobody even came back to take my food order, so I finally got up and left. The service was incredibly inattentive and the staff seemed like they couldn't care less. I initially put my name on the waitlist with one of the employees, and when I came back in later to check where I was on the list, the same person didn't even seem to know who I was or remember putting my name down. There only appeared to be a couple people working, and the entire experience felt disorganized from beginning to end. I was really looking forward to having breakfast here based on the reviews, but after 45+ minutes between waiting and sitting at the table without even getting to place a food order, I'd had enough. Warm water was just the icing on the cake. Extremely disappointing experience. I walked out and will not be back.

Great Breakfast Spot Before the Durango & Silverton Train Ride…read more After reading some of the mixed reviews, I wasn't sure what to expect, but fortunately my son and I had a great experience. The bagel shop is conveniently located just a 785 foot walk from the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad depot, making it an ideal stop before boarding the train. We arrived early in the morning, well before boarding time, so there was no crowd and service was quick and friendly. We both ordered the big breakfast bagel along with a beverage. The sandwich came loaded with egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese on our choice of bagel, and it was served promptly. A nice bonus was the 5% discount for paying with cash. Most importantly, the food was delicious. The bagels were fresh and flavorful, and in our opinion, far better than grabbing breakfast from the fast-food on the other side of the tracks. Some reviewers have commented on the prices, but given the location next to one of Durango's biggest tourist attractions, the pricing seemed reasonable to me. Convenience and location certainly add value here. If you're looking for a tasty, satisfying breakfast before enjoying a ride on the historic railroad, I would definitely recommend stopping by this bagel shop.
