Some of the newer or higher quality stuff can be priced a little higher, but it's almost always very reasonable, and they frequently run sales (they're also happy to give discounts!). The regular volunteers are the nicest people, the place always seems lively even if there's hardly anyone customers there, and it's fun to just peruse the store and listen to the conversations. This isn't a huge ReStore like the one in Montrose or other bigger areas, but for the size, the selection is awesome, and they're always getting in new stuff. The volunteers work incredibly hard and do their best to keep the old building tidy and organized, and I think their hard work shows. Don't go expecting a fancy shiny store - this IS still a thrift store after all! They do an immense service not only by getting low priced, quality home improvement items to people who need them, but they also keep those perfectly good items out of the dump. And of course, the proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity, so it's a win-win-win situation. An absolute must-stop if you're working on any kind of home/garden/construction project, or if you need furniture. And if you're a contractor, donate instead of making the extra trip to the dump!

It seems lthe majority of the inventory is off limits to the public. What's in the front for the public seems to be predominantly shabby old furniture. There is a room with glassware, cups, and plates, and some kitchen gadgets; however this junk mostly looks like Goodwill rejects that would be tossed out in the garbage. I s cannot imagine that most people would ever find anything of use here, because again the vast majority of their junk seems to be hoarded iin the back. This is all disappointing because some ReStores are very well run, and can be a great to save $ on for house, yard, and construction projects.

We found this place while looking for a coffee shop in Cortez. Little did we know we found a…read morecultural gem. Cortez cultural center showcases the native arts and cultures. They recently started the coffee shop and they do a really great job (I believe all volunteer run). All the pastries are home baked, and the turmeric latte was nice. The cultural center also oversees and takes care of the Hawkins Preserve (which is a really nice walking trail). I would love to come back here in the summer because the cultural center has native performances during the summer months.

I've been…read moresuffering from ankle pain after and injury and saw salves for sale that the owner makes herself. I figured I had nothing to lose so I bought some and it's been a HUGE RELIEF! I was able to go on my first bike hike pretty much right after one use. The dirty chai latte with oat milk I got was also amazing and revived me. There were also lots of delicious baked goods and crystals for sale as well as areas to sit. Great place!

Apparently, his private conversations are so riveting that there's no need to acknowledge a customer. We're talking for 20 minutes stretches. He has done this on numerous occasions Also, I don't want to hear you telling an employee loud enough for me to hear in the dining room, Don't serve that sh*t. You said sh*t three times. Not appropriate language for your guests to hear as they are eating. Don't know what's going on in your day, but I don't care for the profanity
