If I could give zero stars, I would. The person who waited on me at the drive through window (not the order board) knows nothing about customer service. I gave her my credit card, and when she gave it back to me, she almost shoved it at me. The shaved ice, the straw, the credit card and the receipt were handed to me all at once. She didn't say thank you, no acknowledgment at all. I bought a small shaved ice, and they were very stingy with the syrup. How much does it cost to completely cover the shaved ice? Not that much extra‼‼‼‼ For $4.75? I DON'T think I will be spending any more money at any of your locations. I will save my money. I don't need to feel like I am bothering you to get a shaved ice. This is a Lubbock owned company. How embarrassing This was not during a busy time, so this is not the cause. read more

SO good! It was messy and I asked for a flat top but they didn't do that. Still good though!

I always find myself here. The first time I stopped by the ice to syrup ratio was perfect, but since then it's been inconsistent every time. Still delicious either way! Note: beware of hidden flavors! ordered tigers blood and it had hints of cinnamon? read more

I wasted my money at this place as a kid and crave it every time summer rolls around. The Good: I ordered a strawberry cheesecake snow with cream. It tastes just as good as it always has. The flavors are so rich and great. The snow just melts in your mouth. The prices are very reasonable. They've added so many new products to their menu including real cases of snowballs. My girlfriend loved the little umbrellas that come in every snow. I loved the color-changing spoons. The Bad: The structure of the drive-thru made it so that I couldn't back out of my parking spot without someone giving me a break and waiting to move forward. Overall: It reaffirmed my dream to own a Bahama Bucks franchise one day! read more

Have had the Mangonada before but the one I had yesterday must have been made by a rookie. Very little sweetness and a lot of salt flavor like the top fell off of the shaker salty. Kept digging in looking for the right flavor until I threw most of it out. Don't think it's suppose to be this red either. Next time I'll watch them assemble or not drive off until I've gotten what I paid for. read more

I love to get the skinny Jamaican Rum Ice with cream. It does not mess up your macros too much to get the regular cream. ( after all it's a treat) If you are walking the straight and narrow get the sugar free cream with it. You will not be disappointed! All it needs is a little rum ... yum! Oh and don't make the mistake of getting Jamaican punch .... not at all the same! read more

I have been a Bahama Bucks regular for many years. This is by far my favorite location. We had the best service from Jake! He was so polite and efficient. We had a very detailed order and he was more than happy to make it just the ways we like it. Thanks Jake! read more

Bahama Buck's - Bottom of cup mainly just ice....sad day - Shaved Ice Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

I really like Bahama Bucks. I like the numerous (diabetic friendly) sugar free flavors, I like the fast service, I like that it's close to the house, and I like the brain freeze that always comes with trying to finish off a snow cone. The few things that always bother me are the annoying d-bag high school boys that hang out and flirt with the service ladies. I actually overheard one of the workers seriously reply to the aforementioned d-bag high school boys with 'wow, your Corolla can squeal it's tires!' I know I was damn impressed about the Corollas 4 cylinder performance, but all I really wanted to hear was my total for a medium sugar free strawberry cheesecake. If you would like to escape this banter, I would suggest that you sit on the patio and enjoy your frozen goodness. read more

I have eaten at Bahama Bucks before, and usually I like the food and am not impressed with the service. However, at this one, I really liked the food, and the service was only sort of slow (not rude, incompetent, or taking 30 minutes to make my damn sno cone-- Hewitt, TX location you know who I am talking about). Anyway, I love the toasted coconut snow and the Cocomel frozen coffee is wonderful (16 oz of caramel coconut whip cream greatness for about $3.70 total). I also have tried some other sno cone flavors and they have all been good. They also come with a cute umbrella. You can get a frufru drink for under $4, which is more expensive than Sonic but beats Sheridan's and Starbucks. The only thing is, you need to be prepared to wait a while. I went through the drive thru and had to wait at least 15 minutes. At least the decor is adorable! They have little signs saying how far away different cities are. It reminds me of the beach and the tropics, which is hard to do in dusty Lubbock!! read more

Why did I wait so long before going here? The first problem is deciding on what flavor. There is an amazing set of flavors and choices. Settled on the red rasberry and the wedding cake (separate) . Both were perfectly prepared by the ice barista. The drink/dessert/ice--what do you call this thing---was super. SO much flavor and good fun eating (until the brain freeze). If you follow me, you know I am picky. Five stars for now one of my most favorite places in town. read more

BBs is the best for summer treats, especially in Lubbock. I had gotten a snow a few times in previous summers, but they are indeed a bit spendy. But how do they get the ice so smooth?? It is unlike any other icee you have ever had. The ice particles are so fine they are almost soft. It's the best snowball you have ever eaten as a kid, jammed up with flavor. My husband loves snows and he hadn't had Bucks yet, and I received a BOGO coupon my my weekly flyer so we grabbed 2 on a hot day in March. He got the pina colada and I got a strawberry colada, and I preferred his flavor to mine (mine was good, but his was perfect!). We got larges and I could eat about half of mine. Boy ate his and mine. He keeps asking if we have received any more coupons, so I know he is hooked. They have a pickle juice flavor I am dying to try, but I could only commit to a Baby size. I love the pina colada and can't wait to take my folks there in May when they visit for my graduation. read more

I'm originally from this area and love Bahama Bucks. Currently living in the Dallas area and have to visit the Arlington, TX location to get my fix from time to time. This day of course I had another itch for Sno. Whoa! I was super disappointed at this location. I had already driven off so I couldn't turn around to get my order corrected. I usually get the same order of sno with two flavors but what I got was a sno-cone with flavoring around the sides and a whole lotta sno with no flavoring in the middle all the way down to the bottom of the cup. :-/ I have been coming to several locations around Texas and was so surprised that this location let me down. Staff may need a little more training to make sure the flavoring goes through to the bottom of the sno-cones. read more

Bahama Buck's - Oops they forgot to put enough syrup for the whole sno!!!! Oh no!!! So disappointed :-( - Shaved Ice Near Me - Lubbock, Texas

Bahama Bucks has a ton of great flavors for their shaved ice. They also have plenty of other options like frosted lattes, smoothies, and fruit. Try the Sno 2 Throw for a pack of sno balls to add to drinks for a party or with their syrup to make a party sno pack! A little pricey for a snow cone, but you will not be disappointed by this great sno! I would recommend their summer fiesta flavors: Mango, Melon, Horchata, Cucumber, Tamarind. Mango + Melon with chile lime salt is GREAT! Try it! read more

Best place for a snow cone in Lubbock! They have way too many flavors to the point where I am sometimes overwhelmed. BUT that means there's something for everyone! I recommend getting two in one if your indecisive! And adding cream! And getting a "baby" because that's plenty! I personally love toasted coconut. They also have specials from time to time. Currently there's a sour patch and pickeldilly special. You can also get smoothies, lemon/limeades, or add ice cream to a snow cone! If you need something sweet and cold then definitely give Bahamas bucks a try. The staff is always friendly and the environment is great to eat in or you can use their convenient drive thru. read more

This place has VERY BAD service I went to take my niece to get a snow cone and first i get to the speaker to order and the girl working started to give me attitude and then I get the the window and I asked her a question and she yells HUH and I asked her again and she just ignores me and shuts the window and drops my change and closes the window with out saying to me the customer like that you for coming or here's your change she just shuts the window. read more

Hands down best snowcone I've had. I've only done the drive thru so I can't comment in the interior, however the exterior is very clean and inviting. They have a ton of flavors to choose from, I like that they have unusual flavors. They also have frozen lattes, smoothies and a few other things, but I've only tried the snowcones. There ice is super fine, which means no hard clumps! They used just the right amount of syrup, there was no white ice but it was drowning either. This will for sure be my go to spot for snowcones this summer! read more

Good and fast service. There is a Bahama Bucks in Lubbock every where you turn. I like this location since it is close to my house and where I usually go in town. They listen to requests like "light syrup" and are very friendly. It is usually filled with high school workers, but I think that this is a great first job for them. Even though this establishment has a lot of young workers, they also do a great job. I also really like the fact that they have an outdoor seating area at this location with great lighting. In Lubbock if you want a perfect snow cone this is the place to go. Especially since we don't have that many ma' and pa' snow cone shacks around and this location is open all year round! read more

My daughter had me go here when she came to visit me. I don't get out much so I had never been to a Bahama bucks!! Now I crave it!!! Every payday I try to go at least once. Some flavors are way to sweet, but if you go inside they let you try first to make sure you get what you like. I enjoy having one on a warm summer night its fulfills my snow one craving. I also just really love their ice. read more

Rilee was amazing absolutely amazing and made delicious snow cones had the perfect amount of syrup and cream like I asked

They have the best Caribbean Cola and MooLate ever. It's like a Vanilla Coke but better. They do have great snow cones but the price for everything is ridiculous. I know you have to make money, but $5 for a small snow cone just hurts me a bit. I love that you can buy a party pack of ice and a few flavors though. We bought a pack once and took it to a company gathering - it was such a huge hit. If they lowered their prices, I'm sure they'd do just as well, if not better. read more

Great variety! Snows come in a multitude of flavors, including sugar free and super sour. We love the super sour flavors. Hubby loves the smoothies and coffee concoctions. The also have a Happy Hour with half priced soft drinks. Service can vary, depending on who is working. Some employees are more mature than others. Great way to cool down on a hot summer day!! read more

Best sno cones in the world! Add the cream too,it's amazing.

Went to this particular location for the first time and was extremely disappointed. Normally I have no issues with Bahama Buck's but this one came up short. A good portion of my snow cone came with no syrup at all. Was extremely disappointed. read more

We used to visit Bahama Bucks regularly and it was always consistently good. We moved away for a year and upon visiting today since we moved back, the service and quality have drastically declined. I would like to express the great dissatisfaction that we experienced on our first visit back to one of our previously favorite places. To start, there were maybe 6 car in the drive-thru line, including those that had already ordered and were waiting to pay. It took 15 minutes just to get the three cars that were in front of us through the line so we could place our order. We ordered 4 simple items from the menu (three shaved ice and one smoothie) and proceeded to wait another 5-7 minutes to get to the window. By this point we were wondering what the hold up could possibly be since we had never experienced this slow pace through the Bahama Bucks drive-thru previously. Were they short staffed? Was there a problem making some of the items on the menu?. When we reached the window it suddenly became all too clear what the hold up was. There was no shortage of workers present in the building and there appeared to be no problems making the items. We saw six or seven teenage girls and one teenage boy chatting while ever-so-slowly attempting to produce the frozen items ordered by other impatient guests waiting inside. We waited at the window for three minutes before the young girl working the drive-thru even managed to open the window and acknowledge our presence. At this point we were exceedingly frustrated and it must have been quite visible by the looks on our faces. Unfortunately, the girl didn't make eye contact and simply handed us one of the four items we had ordered without any apology for the delay or other acknowledgement besides announcing the name of the item she was handing us and promptly asking for the total. We proceeded to wait another 5 minutes at the window while she handed one item periodically until we had received all four of the items we ordered. At this point she made a rushed apology (again, without making any eye contact) and thanked us. We proceeded to leave the drive-thru lane only to discover upon taking a spoonful of two of our shaved ice treats that they had simply coated the outside half inch of ice with syrup and that the inside column of two out of the three shaved ice cups we had ordered was simply unflavored ice. At this point we were exceedingly frustrated and did not wish to wait another 20-30 minutes to have the problem corrected so we left. The bottom line is we will not be returning to one of our previously favorite establishments in Lubbock until these problems have been corrected. I am not sure if one of the teenage girls present for our order was filling a management role or if they simply lacked supervision we were present but this is simply unacceptable. The store should make enough money during the summer that they can afford an adult supervisor to be present and creating flavored shaved ice is not something so difficult to produce that there should be issues flavoring the ice entirely with syrup. I am disappointed and recommend that anyone looking for a cool treat this summer try one of the other choices besides Bahama Bucks. read more

Every time I come to this Bahama Bucks I regret it. The employees have absolutely no regard for the customers and choose to have conversation with one another rather than serving. I came on 07/08/17 and my friend and I were the only ones being served yet it still took the four employees working upwards of 10 min to make our snow cones. On top of that, they were very poorly made. I ordered my snow cone with sprinkles and the employee working haphazardly sprinkled the sprinkles on only one side of my snow cone. Also, there was a huge empty patch in the middle where no syrup had been poured. Very disappointed read more

I have enjoyed Bahama Bucks since the first location on Brownfield Highway in Lubbock. Why can't BB do the Red Raider as a thin ice option? If you feel the same let BB know. read more

They are ridiculously slow at all times. The drive through had 7 cars when we pulled up so we came in instead with only 2 people in front of us. They have 4 people doing smoothies and two doing sno cones. The same person who makes the ice, pours the flavor which slows them down tremendously. We waited 20 minutes for two baby size sno cones, meanwhile I watched 4 cars that would have been behind us in line, go through and get there's. Two girls just stack cups on top of flavor a in a LONG line and then sit there and do absolutely nothing else. I used to work at a sno cone stand and the service was much better. The sno cones are amazing but with this poor of service, I don't know if we will be back. read more
