Unfortunately, the last cake we purchased was very disappointing, especially considering the high price. The bottom of the cake was not completely baked. It was soft, gooey, and more like liquid than actual cake. Someone definitely dropped the ball on this one. When I reached out, I was told, "There is nothing we can do." Seriously, if you order a cake here, make sure you ask them to inspect it before you leave. It is not worth spoiling a child's birthday over a half-baked cake. For the price, I expected much better. The cakes that I have tried, are fantastic. The issue is, for the price of buying them, especially the single serve size, they should provide spoons or forks. Lemon and strawberry are currently my favorite flavors, but I have only tried a few. I'm very disappointed in the customer service my mom received while enquiring about pricing for an upcoming event I'm having in Lubbock in October. I'm from Lubbock but currently reside in Houston. I've always loved Nothing Bundt Cakes so I was excited to have them in the running. However, as pricing varies between locations so my mom called and spoke with Elizabeth. My mother said that the whole conversation was extremely rushed and the tone on the business end came across very rude. She said it almost seemed as if it was imposing to ask any questions. This is unacceptable and very disappointing. I don't care how busy you are or if you hate your job. It's still your job and you are in the business of selling a product. Another thing that really turned me off is my mom said that as the conversation was ending Elizabeth said, "Oh, by the way we're closed on Sundays so we can go to church." This statement is perfectly fine BUT if you were just rude to a potential customer you should at least be a good witness. We needed food for around 100. I decided to go with another local business in Lubbock. It's sad that I love Nothing Bundt Cakes but I will not tolerate attitude or give business to a business that doesn't at least act like they want it. Customer service is everything. read more

I have tried every flavor and they are all just ~Wonderful~!!! The lemon is great but then so is the strawberry cream. All the cakes are moist and have just the perfect amount of buttery cream frosting. Oh so Yummy.....so just forget about your tummy & just enjoy a Bunt or two or three. The cakes are moist and just sweet enough. The cream cheese icing adds that extra touch some cakes need. They also have monthly flavors so be sure to try those out (they give samples). All of the cakes come with a rich, cream cheese frosting. The cakes are really sweet but the frosting balances it out. In addition to personal sized bundts, they offer cake towers (bundts stacked on top of eachother), bundletts (bite-sizde bundts), and big bundts for special occasions. They do not have indoor seating. Service is quick. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is plentiful. Look out for BOGO deals on their website! read more

I have always loved and been faithful to Nothing Bundt Cakes. I ordered a cake for a Saturday, and was exposed to COVID the Tuesday before. I called to get a refund, and they said that was fine. WELL, COME TO FIND OUT, BECAUSE I PAID IN CASH, YES CASH, they refused to refund me. They only offered me store credit. Yet, they let me know that "had I paid with a card" a refund would have been possible. Crazy!! Open the cash drawer and hand me $46. That isn't difficult. I've worked in retail and specialty dessert places, and it IS possible. Not even an apology from the staff. At the VERY LEAST, they should tell people who want to pay in cash of this absurd, nonsensical rule before they do it. They have lost my business. read more

I was a little disappointed by this place, I went once i saw it on yelp because i always get excited about new businesses especially if its a bakery of some sort! Well, despite the beautiful decoration they have, the cake was not moist and had that gummy texture to it.. I tried their chocolate turtle as it was the flavor of the month and i was thinking there is no way any one can go wrong with chocolate,, but they did,, the flavor was lost between the chocolate, caramel and the pecan! Ok I don't normally love chain food establishments but I crave the lemon bundt cake constantly. Granted, the icing is sometimes overly sweet for my taste but that's to be expected when it's thick cream cheese icing. On Sunday, September 17 our daughter turned 24. She asked for a red velvet Nothing Bundt Cake for her birthday cake. I went to the local Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery located in Lubbock, Texas off of 98th ST on Saturday to pick up one. Saturday night I noticed 5-7 little tiny bugs (maybe gnats) flying around in the cellophane wrapping. So, I left it as is and made other plans for the party. Monday I took the cake bake to the store & I was shocked to find out that they would NOT give me my money back. The manager said she could take my name and number & the owner would call me back. The owner never called & the manager called me back after I had left saying that she talked with the owner & they could give me store credit. REALLY? I do not need a cake. I think it is absolutely awful the way I was treated! I would appreciate a call back from the owner & a full refund. read more

Oh my goodness I am in Love...with the Lemon-Raspberry cake. I had the privilege of having a piece at a Wedding Shower on Saturday. After the first bite I wanted the whole cake. Fabulous Bundt cake... It is difficult to get a moist bundt cake because of the cooking time, but this cake was perfect.
