I stopped in at Baguette while running an errand, and I'm so glad I did! It's situated at the main level of a large building in the center of the hustle and bustle in Corvallis, nothing that grabs your attention. Once you step through the door, it all changes! The scent of the delicious food meets you there. I ordered the lemongrass beef based on the recommendation of other Yelpers, and it was a fantastic choice. I'm surprised I haven't found a review for the best morsel I bought today: the coconut bao! The little dessert dumpling is light and airy on the outside combined with a balanced sweetness in the filling. For the stellar food and kind customer service, I highly recommend paying Baguette a visit. read more

Baguette is seriously THE BEST Vietnamese shop I've ever been to...and I've been to a lot! Their sandwiches are all amazing! But their best assets are the pork buns and salad rolls. Seriously the best I've ever had! All the trucks and restaurants in Portland don't even come close! They're all either not enough meat, not enough veggies, too runny sauce...but not at Baguette. I love this place. It's one of the best places in Corvallis to get reasonably priced, really great tasting food. Their sandwich size is good, the ingredients fresh and tasty. My favorites are their "meat loaf" (why they call it that is odd, it's more like an Asian meatball) and the Lemongrass Beef. But, I've ordered pretty much all their sandwiches and all are great. BTW, contrary to another reviewers opinion, they are not at all "pricey". Their most expensive sandwich is $6.00. How anyone can call that "pricey" in Corvallis is beyond me. read more

This place is so good. The 4 years I lived in Corvallis this was one of my favorite places. I always get a chicken sandwich and add jalapeños. There bread is really good, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. I would also suggest the salad rolls with peanut sauce, really yummy, some of the best peanut sauces I've had. They also have vegetarian options and I've had those too, and thought they were delicious. OK, so one reviewer didn't like their head cheese. Boo hoo. This place is awesome. I defy you to find a sandwich with as unique a taste for twice the price - it can't be done. In a town of more or less bland, repetitive sandwiches from competing establishments (i.e., subway, both hero's, etc), you just cannot get a better blend of taste, quality, and originality. I love this place and have been a regular since they opened. Everyone of their baguettes are incredible. For something lighter try the shrimp salad rolls. It is a perfect light lunch with peanut sauce. I just talked to the owner and it looks as if they will not have the space to expand much. It is a shame they don't have more room during the rainy months. The great food keeps people coming though. read more

But definitely a pleasant surprise! I had a great tofu curry sandwich. The carrot/cilantro slaw on top was delicious. My friend had the shrimp spring rolls, which she said were also delicious. This is one of my favorite places to grab lunch in Corvallis, period. The sandwiches are fresh, delicious, and a great change of pace from the traditional subs you get at other places. Their prices are great too, and the people are incredibly friendly. Some places that serve banh mi use bread so hard it hurts to eat - not this place. The bread is warm and wonderful while still having enough crunch to be satisfying.
