Food truck came by work. I got the U Betcha, and the sausage is tasty without being overpowered, and the mustard sauce is fantastic. The baguette is crispy outside, and soft inside. $9 for what ends up being about an 8 inch sandwitch, chips, and a canned drink seems a little steep for me, but thats my only complaint. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu. read more

I went to Baguettaboutit last week and was very impressed with the service and taste. We originally didn't get the right sandwich and I normally would have just eaten it's deliciousness but it was for my daughter, so I returned it for my picky eater. They were very kind, gave us the correct sandwich and a free sandwich card and drink coozie. They were very nice and all of the sandwiches we tried were wonderful! I highly recommend them. read more

Baguettaboutit - Picky kid approved! - Food Trucks Near Me

I got this on a whim the other day. I had the imposter (one of the two available veggie options that day). It was delicious! The sauce created a soft texture to the baguette. I liked it more than I thought I would. read more

We honestly wanted to try this place based solely on the name! We ordered a Monster with mild Italian sausage and red pepper sauce and a United Nations. Both were good. The UN was a bit spicy, but I don't do too spicy and was able to handle it. I'd probably go with a brat on the Monster next time, but I think any sausage would taste good with pimento cheese. Most importantly, the baguettes are really good. We would hit them up again for sure. read more

Have I been living under a rock? Baguettaboutit is celebrating their one year as a brick-and-mortar this month, and I only happened upon their location by accident. It's in the little strip of RTP eateries that IMO has a few too many sandwich shops. That said, these guys do a spin on a sandwich; so even though their menu remains small, I think they still make an appealing option in the area. Same great baguettes, sausages, and housemade sauces you know and love from their truck. A flexible build-your-own option. And the opportunity to request and vote on your own menu inventions. They also seem to be experimenting with a "you pick two" for $5.99 deal that strays from baguettes and offers small dishes and sides like mac n' cheese, greek salads, and garlic bread. On this menu is the option for a 1/2 of a Good Golly Miss Susan (paired with a second item). I hope that they will expand upon this in the future, as I like the idea of ordering a half a baguette (but I personally favor other flavors) with a side salad -- that's the perfect amount for lunch, and at a competitive price. (See my earlier review for a write-up on their food truck.) read more

This food truck was at Durham Central Park for the Food Truck Rodeo on 6/21/2015 so I am not sure why it is being reported as closed. As for the review, their food is absolutely DELICIOUS. I had the "buffalo chicken" which consists of chicken sausage, hot sauce, and ranch. I also ate this gem when it was about 248 degrees outside so not ideal for a impartial review of an experience. That being said, the bread was second to none, the sausage was perfectly prepared and the sauces were appropriately portioned. This is a simple idea but the end result is amazing. I would STRONGLY recommend trying Baguettaboutit (plus they have an awesome name) whenever you see them around the Triangle. read more

I really liked this idea, especially for walking around while eating. It was nice, hearty bread, and the chicken sausage was good. I shared the bread with my 1 year old, and he thought it was yummy too. They really have a great idea, and the execution is excellent. Will try more varieties as I get the opportunity. read more

I was pretty disappointed by my experience with this truck. I'd heard awesome things, and waited over half an hour for my sandwich (which I was willing to do at the time), but my sausage was definitely undercooked, making me instantly nauseated. Unfortunately I'd taken it back home, so didn't have the choice to ask them to make it right. My husband's was cooked fine, but lacked anything exciting. Definitely wouldn't wait for it again. read more

They had me at the name. Let's face it, food trucks are all about fun names, creative and colorful trucks and unusual food. Baguettaboutit has it all. Their blue truck has a great ordering system where you write your name and order on a bag that will later be used to serve the baguette in. I went for the NJ Turnpike (sweet sausage with roasted red pepper sauce), even though I was tempted by other fun names like "U Talking to Me" and "It's Greek To Me". For $6.50 it is a very filling sandwich in a compact and easy to eat baguette. I only wish the terrific red pepper sauce was better distributed throughout the baguette, only after eating about 1/2 of the sandwich did the sauce make an appearance. It was a little late to the show since without it the sausage/bagutte combo seems a bit dry. Maybe next time I'll ask for extra sauce? Or maybe just make sure it's better applied. I know it sounds silly, but without the sauce it's just sausage on bread...not my cup of tea. With the sauce it packs a culinary NJ mobsta..punch! read more

Delicious, hot and filling! I've tried the United Nations and U Talking to Me (tomato basil sauce with hot italian sausage), and was a fan of both. They're very friendly and the wait time is short. Also a huge fan of their baguette... very fresh and tasty. But I really wish there was a little more variation than just sausage plus baguette combo in their menu. I also feel that everything on their menu is pretty much the same. There's so much room for creativity! read more

Baguettaboutit was stationed with some other food trucks at a local concert recently, and I was so excited because I've been wanting to try out their unique sandwiches since I first heard about them a month ago. Deciding to try out other trucks as well, my boyfriend and I split a "U Talking to Me," hot Italian sausage with a tomato basil vinaigrette. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of Italian sausage, but this sandwich was incredible. The tomato basil vinaigrette was the perfect balance for all of the flavors in the slightly spicy sausage. I highly, highly recommend it. The truck also had prompt and courteous service, which is always a plus. The price feels a little high, but I'm happy to pay for such quality food. read more

I am basing this review in my experience today. I had already tried Baguettaboutit a couple years ago and found it just okay. Today, I decided to try it again while waiting for my ride home in front of the Duke chapel. There wasn't really a line so I had to make a fast decision. I opted to get the South of the border and ordered hot italian sauce with it instead of the other one they offered which was chicken chipotle. I have to say that their menu is not that complicated. All baguettes are $8 ($10.50 with chips and soda) and there are very few options to choose from. I developed a taste for spicy food after I arrived to the US. However, even though I have pushed my limits before, I have to admit that that sandwich was the most spicy thing I have ever tasted in my life. I gave it 3 bites with a little of water and I was dying to get home to drink a lot more. By the time I arrived home, my taste buds had suffered a lot. I could not say that the sausage was bad because the spiciness was so overpowering that I couldn't taste or think about anything else besides how hot my mouth was. As soon as I arrived home, I told my bf I couldn't handle it so I gave it to him, a much MUCH more experienced person with regards to spicy food. He tried it and after some bites, he said that it was the first time he actually had to stop eating something because of how hot it was. Lesson learned. If you really want to see if you can handle ridiculously spicy food, try eating a South of the border with hot italian sauce. Other than that, I would stay out of that choice as it can be very annoying being extremely hungry and not being able to eat something just because of how hot it is. I will try something less spicy the next time. read more

Just awesome!! Had the one with buffalo sauce and ranch. It was like eating a giant wing dipped in ranch. Could not have dreamed up something better. Also, it was only $7.50 and it was ready in 2 minutes. Great concept for sandwiches and the flavor left me wanting more! See you guys next time you come back to Wade Park. read more

Good concept, but I'm not a fan of sauces. They use too much for my taste. Clean place, friendly staff.

We bought the Ubetcha with bratwurst and a spicy mustard. It was extremely tasty and the baguette was so crispy and fluffy. I could have eaten 5 of these. The bread alone is worth 5 stars! read more

This food truck has a lot going for it. The pros: -An awesome looking truck -Quiet...compared to an un-named pizza truck that is incredibly loud -Good food -Food that isn't messy I had one of the specials at CAM in Raleigh last night - The Imposter. Something about sundried tomato basil (their website says ToFurkey! I didn't notice or care while eating) sausage. It was pretty delicious. Only slight problem was the sauce seemed to all be at the bottom. I ate about half and was thinking it was a little bit dry...then about an hour late ate the rest and it was night/day with all the sauce at the bottom of the baguette (since I was holding it up and down?). 100% greatness, was that cracked pepper and parmesan sauce. Another plus is they serve it in one of those tall bags, your hands don't even have to touch the food - which is awesome for a food truck when you aren't sitting down to eat necessarily. The food also came out quick, the people were nice, etc. Looking forward to tracking them down again, the whole menu sounds great. read more

Very courteous staff. Very clean and neat space. I had the bratwurst and kraut. Bread was fresh and brat was delicious. A side of Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy chunky. I will certainly be back to check out the rest of the menu. read more

Eat here about once every other week. I get the chipotle chicken with Parmesan dressing. Like another reviewer I have gotten these with little sauce so now I tell them extra sauce with they don't change for and has worked out well. All in all a good mean, not too heavy at all. With chips and drink it comes out to $9.68. Because of value I've deducted a star as this should be in the $7 range. read more

I work at NC State University and the University Dining program has partnered with local food trucks to bring variety to campus. I have just now had the opportunity to try the Baguettaboutit truck. I'll be skipping the customary fast food on Wednesdays from now on so that I can have a hot Italian baguette. It was really good! They even advertise local ingredients so that is a huge plus in my book! I hope they keep coming back for a long long time! read more

The food here is amazing! They also have a food truck which travels around. If you see the truck, definitely grab a bite! Great place for lunch if you're in the Brier Creek area. read more

Tried this place a couple times at the local food truck rodeos. Concept is very simple. Take a sausage, add some sauce, shove it into a warm hollowed-out baguette. And it's so good. The Greek one is my fav. It's a chicken sausage with tzatziki. Absolute heaven! read more

The bread was so fresh. The fillings were amazing. It was super cute that they didn't take name or numbers to call out but they called out cards. I highly recommend stopping here to eat if you see it. read more

Finally tried this when it stopped by on Duke's campus. Got myself a "South of The Border," Italian soda, and bag of chips for an inexpensive $9.50 and I was amazed at the experience. Not only did I get my food in less than five minutes, I got a hearty meal for a great price. And the taste is unbelievable. I'm glad to finally get a "spicy" dish that's actually spicy; the habanero and the spicy chorizo make this an incredible meal. There are a lot of food trucks that stop by on campus but this is going to be my regular truck of choice. Awesome stuff! read more

I waited over an hour to eat at Baguettaboutit at at food truck rodeo in Cary. AND IT WAS WORTH IT. Baguettaboutit's method of putting a sausage in a baguette is a novel one. It's one of those times you wonder... why hasn't anyone thought of this before?? I ordered the south of the border sandwich which was amazing. I am a spicy-food snob and seldom think things are adequately spicy.. but this sandwich was definitely adequately spicy. The prices aren't exactly food-truck cheap- I paid ten bucks for a sandwich, chips and a soda- but you will not leave hungry! The portions are huge. Worth the wait and worth the price! read more

I have not been to the Miami location yet but I had the opportunity to enjoy the "Talking To Me?" baguette at the State Fair. It was amazing!!! Just the right amount of spiciness and the baguette is by far the best sandwich baguette I've had. The owner's daughter told me that the sausages are made by the Meat Market in Cary. I'm not surprised because they were excellent!! I would like to see them in Chapel Hill more often. read more

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS FOOD TRUCK- I've been waiting 28 minutes for a stupid maquette sandwich- they suck.

I hit up this place at lunch time with my work peeps. The hot Italian sausage was tasty and the bread was fresh. I got the chimi churri green sauce, it seemed to compliment the baguette. The restaurant wasn't hectic and we were served promptly. read more

One star. Why? Because I was sold a pipe dream. Before I even attempted to place an order, I asked if they were vegan friendly. I was told I had two options, one of which was a pimento cheese sandwich. (Don't worry, I'm just as confused as you are) I'm sure I gave her the "wtf" face as she tried to convince me that it's not really cheese, it's pimentos... It was cheese. Needless to say, I go with the safe bet. A vegan sausage that I've had before.... Except the way they prepared it made it anything but vegan. I don't mean just cooking it on the same grill, the vegan sausage was touching the pork sausage! To make matters worse, there was only one set of utensils being used for everything. My anxiety shot through the roof just watching. So I politely told them to keep their food and that they probably shouldn't advertise as vegan friendly while keeping their current preparation methods. Moral of the story; FORGETABOUT trying to eat vegan here. read more

Great white wine chicken sausage with cherry chipotle sauce!! I would love to try more from them.

YES! These cool people pulled up to our backyard wedding and the guests let our a shout :) What yummy, delightful and inventive food. The colorful truck and the bright taste of the food made our wedding wonderful. Several guests mentioned how helpful and friendly you guys were. My dad had 2 and would have kept going. More than a few wedding gusts remarked on the hilarious imagery of large sausages at a wedding! Thanks again :) read more

We hired Baguettaboutit's Food Truck to cater our wedding reception. We worked with Gillian, who was a great communicator, very helpful and friendly-- she was amazing to work with. Gillian worked with us to choose the menu items we wanted our guests to choose from, gave us the option to rename all of the sandwiches to fit the theme of our wedding, and even created custom signage and menu cards for our guests, and it was all very reasonably priced (especially when comparing it to a traditional wedding caterer). We were a little worried with a long line waiting for the truck at the reception, but they handled our guests (about 125 people) very efficiently, and all of the feedback from our friends and family was overwhelmingly positive. They loved the food and the idea of having a food truck for a wedding. You can read the reviews on the food itself-- it's great and that's why we wanted them to cater our wedding. While we were planning, we were also invited into the cafe to have a private tasting where their chef Samia cooked up every single full sized sandwich for us and then wrapped all of the leftovers to go as well. I would highly recommend considering Baguettaboutit for your wedding or other event-- there's no better food truck team to work with! read more

Absolutely delish! So happy they came to Trophy Maywood! So good!

I love their baguettes. Accept no substitutes. They are so good my 11 year old son will them plain. The sausage are excellent. Highly recommended. read more

The outside of the truck sets your level of expectation well above "typical" food truck fare. The first bite confirms you made a great decision to order one of the most tasty sandwich options available. The Jersey Turnpike is my favorite choice. Write your name on a bag and order one of their choice creations! read more

Everything it is hyped up to be and more. From incredible customer service to the finest quality baguetts and sausages, I highly recommend Baguettaboutit! I am a fan of the Italian Mobster but have tried a number of the different combos and haven't found one yet I don't like. Hope to see more Baguettaboutit stores and food trucks throughout the country. Also a big fan of how they vary the menu and have expanded to include those that don't like sausages. read more

They get two stars for the novelty of sticking a sausage inside a baguette, but otherwise I recommend avoiding this place. The sandwiches are always poorly constructed, with the sauce in one lump at the end of the baguette. The rest of the sandwiches are dry, and uninspiring. There is a variety on the menu, but everything tastes roughly the same. $13 for a small piece of dry bread, a dry sausage, and a dash of bland sauce isn't worth experiencing the gimmick. read more

It took over 30 minutes after ordering to get food at a concert & I missed 1/2 the show. I was told by staff that I should have expected that to occur. In the future, I suggest this food truck avoid attending venues with any sot of crowd. None of the other food trucks had waits even close to this one. My husband order from a different one and it took less than 5 min and their line before ordering was longer. read more

Heavy on the bread. Light on the meat. I prefer the opposite.
